New Year at the Cabin

This house was perfect for the needs of our family (3 adults and 2 kids)! The chalet is walking distance from the slopes (via a trail, it took us about 6 minutes to go down); we had rent a locker at the ski resort so that was very convenient. We enjoyed seeing the slopes from the kitchen (and the hot tub- what a delight after a day of ski !). We really liked the decoration of the chalet, each room having its own specific decoration. The kitchen is very well equipped and it was a pleasure to cook. Our children also found great games to play with. And all of us loved the fireplace. The ski resort is very friendly, the child ski center is great. We definitely recommend this house!

June Vacation

We were in town for a week for a family wedding. We had a great time in this cozy mountain house! The hot tub was great, the fireplace was so nice to have on the chilly mornings! Totally comfortable, felt like we had our own mountain cabin. The only bad thing was leaving! Thanks Lori!

Classic Tahoe Ski Chalet

Thanks for the great rental. The chalet is in a very good location with easy access (30-45 min) to most ski resorts around the lake and is also a short drive to Reno. It overlooks the Diamond Peak ski resort and has a very nice view. The chalet was clean, comfortable, and private. I would definately recommend this property to anyone looking for a centrally located ski cabin. The hottub is also very nice to relax in after experiencing one of Tahoe's amazing, and exhausting, powder days!

Family Ski Trip

We had a fantastic time... the house is in a perfect spot for skiing at Diamond Peak. We were so pleased that the kitchen was fully equipped, so we were able to cook all our meals. We loved having the large dining table which enabled us all to sit together for our meals. Thank you for sharing your cozy home with us!

Good family time in winter

Lorey is wonderful to work with. The house is clean. Furniture is in good repair. Bedrooms are adequate size. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen and living area are adequate. Jacuzzi is good size. Access to DP is easy by car or walk. We had a good time for two families.

We got home from Tahoe today and wanted to say thanks for letting us use your home. We had a great time relaxing, skiing, hiking and playing in the snow. We had everything we needed in the house. Thanks again we loved the house and the location. The view was amazing! We all hated to leave but will hopefully get to return someday.

Oh my goodness! What a lovely, amazing, warm home you shared with us! It was just perfect for our needs! Our daughter said,"Why haven't we come here before???" as soon as we walked through the door! This sentiment was echoed throughout the weekend especially when we realized how close the ski slopes are. Thank you- we enjoyed your cabin so much, we'll be sharing it again!

We loved your home and the location. The house was maintained beautifully, the location couldn't be better for a family with children, and we really enjoyed ourselves. We walked back and forth to Diamond Peak and left the car at the house - that's a real bonus. Plus, the house has a great sledding hill in the back yard. What more could we ask for! We hope to come back again soon.

We had a lovely xmas vacation in your cozy cabin. It was just perfect for us: close to the slopes to come back for lunch if need be! The view is terrific, especially when the whole mountain (Diamond Peak) was open and the spa was great as well. We'll probably revisit soon.
