Nestled amongst the grand old live oaks and flower lined streetscapes of Historic Port Royal, South Carolina is the quaint and cozy “Cottage on 14th Street”. This recently renovated 2Br/1Ba cottage is the ideal vacation accommodation for anyone looking for all of the comforts of home with a charming low country flare.
The “Cottage on 14th Street” boasts a modern, open floor plan in the kitchen and living area. High ceilings with wrap around French doors give the living area a light an airy feel. There is a large screen TV with satellite cable provided in the living room. The custom kitchen with eat-in bar has been equipped with the chef in mind. The master bedroom has a king size bed and beautifully built in custom cabinetry. The smaller second bedroom has a queen size bed and washer and dryer. The main bath has an enormous walk-in tile shower with great natural light.
The cottage features a dramatic wrap around porch that is the perfect setting for a peaceful morning coffee or a laid back family dinner. This huge porch features an outdoor kitchen & bar with two burner electric stove, sink,gas grill and ceiling fans. The perfect place to entertain or relax in the shade on a warm Carolina day!
Located just one block from Paris Avenue and the downtown of historic Port Royal, quaint shops, restaurants, boat ramp and the beach are all just a short stroll away. Port Royal is known for being a great walking neighborhood with multiple nature trails and boardwalks, great for exercise or biking. Downtown Beaufort is a ten minute drive. Both Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC are a scenic one hour drive.
Many of our rental clients visit Beaufort/Port Royal for US Marine Corps Graduations. The “Cottage on 14th Street” is located less than five minutes from Parris Island (where the graduations take place). For families interested in booking the home for a graduation, please make your reservations as far ahead of time as possible, as these dates tend to book up early.
