Just four blocks from the beach, you can bring your helmets and ride the PROVIDED BIKES on the level streets into town to enjoy the sandy beaches of Kings Beach, restaurants, shops, movie theater, seasonal farmer’s market and weekend arts and crafts fair. Or take the two PROVIDED KAYAKS for an early morning paddle on the crystal clear waters of Lake Tahoe.
Staying in this “new to the market” vacation rental you can have access to hiking and biking trails just blocks away, Fourth of July fireworks, enjoy Shakespeare on the Lake during the months of July and August, spend a day floating down the Truckee River, golf the alpine courses, fly fish the high sierra lakes and rivers…and just think this is only a few suggestions to all the outdoor fun Tahoe has to offer, plus just 10 minutes away from Northstar skiing, hiking, and mountain biking, roller skating rink in the summer or the ice skating rink in the winter. Or better yet, do absolutely nothing and feel good about it!
Enjoy morning sun on the front and back porch, mid-day sun on the upstairs deck just outside the master suite, and late day sun on the back patio. Prepare your meals in the cozy country kitchen or BBQ on the back deck while enjoying the large landscaped backyard. Once the sun sets you can start a fire amidst the chimney (wood provided) for those cooler nights. A horseshoe pit and darts are set up for outdoor fun without having to leave this one of a kind sanctuary.
For those warm nights one can bring your sleeping bags and sleep under the stars by setting up the sturdy airbed with frame on the upper deck outside the master bedroom.

The intimate family room on the main floor has satellite TV and a DVD player with surround sound. Stay warm on those cool nights with the convenience of the freestanding gas stove. This room can also function as a second separate sleeping area. The main floor bathroom has a SLATE WALK-IN SHOWER with a rain shower head.

Lake Tahoe is where our daughter lives and works and she will be assisting us as your "personal greeter" and local "go to person" to help answer your questions about the home and area.
