My family spent a wonderful week at the cottage. The weather was perfect we used the bikes and kayaks and enjoyed a nice hike on the Lake Tahoe Rim Trail. Dinning on the deck and making Samores in the evening was the best. The cottage is located in just the right spot, being able to walk down to the lake and walk around town was really nice. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint. Everything is provided, the booklet put together by the owner is very helpful when using the cottage.

We just came back from three nights at the Gingerbread Cottage and had a wonderful time there. We were a couple with a young child, plus my sister. The top bedroom with its cathedral ceiling is gorgeous and spacious. The kitchen is cute, well stocked and has nice big windows onto the yard. The living room is very, very cozy with its fireplace, and the queen sleeper is very comfortable. Rosemary was a pleasure to deal with throughout, and when I needed special consideration due to a ski accident she was very gracious about going the extra mile (or two). Thank you!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

We started our honeymoon with a few days in Tahoe at the Gingerbread Cottage. It was fantastic! It met or exceeded our expectations in every way. All of the amenities were included, the house was clean and ready for us, and everything was there and ready to use. It is a short walk from the lake, but far enough away to be a quiet retreat. The house binder included great information about things to do nearby, from groceries and restaurants to hikes and beaches. They really have made this a home away from home.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your sweet cottage. Once we figured out the lighting, all was perfect! We enjoyed the kayak, bikes, location to everything, comfy bed, warm bathroom floor, BBQ and amenities. We wondered if you also arranged the perfect weather.

We came to the Gingerbread cottage to celebrate our son's first birthday and the only regret we have is not staying longer! A magical setting - right out of a storybook. We will definitely be back !

Annette and Rosemary are great to deal with. The place was everything that I had hoped for and more. Clean and comfortable, With plenty of room. Nice walk to the beach, quiet cozy neighborhood, the fireplace is great for making Smores... I can't wait to come back again, and I bet it is a great place in every season. Thanks so much for all of your thoughtful hospitality. Very Very Nice.....
