This peaceful and serene couple’s retreat cottage has magnificent views of Hood Canal. There are raised herb and flower beds just off the deck. The kitchen is a cook’s paradise with all the utensils and dishes you may need for that romantic dinner complete with a gas cook top and island. This one bedroom suite with queen bed includes a soaking tub surrounded by a wall of windows looking at the breathtaking views of the canal. The house sits high above the beach. French doors lead to a private deck with hammocks for complete relaxation. Sit on the deck, watch the birds and take in all the beauty of nature and the views.
There’s a trail winding down to the beach for those adventuresome types. It’s a little steep so put on your hikers or you can walk down to the nearby public beach. Hood Canal is a place to experience nature, rivers, wildlife and seafood. Best known for clams, oysters, shrimp and crab, so be sure to try your hand at harvesting dinner. Just ask a local.
