When our friend told us that she had chosen Saint Lucia as the ideal place to build her retirement home, after a nearly four-year search throughout the Caribbean, we had to come and see it for ourselves. From the very first moment, we were captivated by the beauty, cleanliness and tranquility of the island, but what won our hearts were the people and their special attitude towards foreigners, unlike anything else we had seen during our multiple trips to other islands in the Caribbean. It was then that we decided to purchase a piece of land, build our dream home and make this emerald paradise a part of our lives.
