I'm having a fabulous stay at this property! The apartment is larger than the pictures make it seem and extremely comfortable. I'm staying here during the heat wave of 2011 and the air conditioning is perfect, thank goodness! The beautiful bed is so comfy, the bathroom gives you plenty of room as does the kitchen. Feels like your own home away from home. So much is close by - Central Park, theater district, 5th Avenue shopping. GREAT restaurant, Rue 57, is right downstairs, as is Nobu - one block away. I certainly hope to come back to this specific spot again - Paul, the owner, makes it very easy. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

My partner David and I spent 2 wonderful weeks in Paul's New York apartment. It was airy, clean and seemed larger than the photos indicate. We initially had trouble with the internet connection, however Paul was available quickly by phone to help us out. The location of the apartment is great, within easy walking distance of the subway, Central Park, grocery stores and eateries. The doormen made us feel very welcome and we kept them rather busy, coming and going! We would recommend Paul and his apartment to anyone coming to New York.

My daughter and I were recently able to stay in Paul’s wonderful apartment in New York City. It was cozy and warm and we were not bothered by the noise and hubbub on the street in the least. We could hear very muffled horn and siren noise, but it was not a problem at all. We slept well and felt safe and protected in our 7th story nest. The apartment was centrally located and we walked almost everywhere. I definitely recommend this apartment.

A fabulous pied a terre for two - or if one is used to close quarters and the owner permits, perhaps a couple and a small child as there is nice separation in the apartment - in a super central location - fabulous for shoppers, theatre goers, tourists, or those with mid-town business. Very well furnished, with a super balance between owner's good taste and convenience for guests, clean, with everything one needs for a weekend to a month in the City - as lovely as it gets in Manhattan apartment rentals, and I owned a co-op on Fifth for decades, so I think I'm in a good position to judge. Thank you for a great week!

Very convenient to excellent restaurants and to Theatre District (we saw 2 plays, and walked to both theatres in less than 10 minutes). Although advertised, apartment did not have DVD or stereo available, which was disappointing, as we wanted to enjoy music and maybe a movie. Living room and bedroom area are both spectacular; kitchen and bathroom are nothing special. All interactions with owner were easy and professional. I have stayed in several VRBO apartments in Manhattan; this one measures up fairly well.

My 13-year old son and I stayed from 10-19 to 10-24 at this lovely NYC apartment. The size was perfect for us. The bed SUPER comfy. The location magnificent. 2 blocks to Central Park. The restaurant downstairs - Rue 57 - was FABULOUS. It was probably my favorite meal while we were in town. Mussels, lamb sliders, beet salad...YUM. It was nice unwinding at night, the TV was LARGE with a lot of channels. Chinese delivery down the street was reasonable and fast. The doormen of the building were so polite and helpful. You really felt special every time you walked in the building. I would recommend this property for anyone wanting to visit NYC, be near so many wonderful sites, near the subway station, near Central Park - who doesn't want to pay twice the amount to stay in a hotel without half the space or comfort :)

Excellent location, near the metro station and Central Park. Unfortunately, the only difficulties we have had with the property. Firstly, the confirmation of the apt reservation: following the email agreements, we asked for the details to proceed with the bank transfer, but he was in travel and told us to wait his coming back. In that time, we had quietly arranged the purchase of airline tickets for that week in NY. Nothing getting in the following weeks, we asked again for sending this data. In his email response, despite the agreements, all of us had completely forgotten... Yes, we've been "lucky" that someone else had not already booked that week! Moreover, problem also at the end of our holiday, to get our deposit back. We have requested several times to Mr. Paul to arrange a refund, despite previous agreements by email regarding a maximum of 48 hours after delivery of the keys. Umpteenth reminder, we finally got the money, after exactly 33 days. Nothing personal, but I would like to point out that when the Mr. Paul gives commitments with the customer (even written), would be serious and professional obligations under the agreements! As much as we all done with him.
Owner response:The property was impeccably clean upon delievery to the tenant, all features and amenities were as advertised, the damage security was returned within the terms of the lease and did my best to satify an international client despite (time differences, language barriers, demanding nature etc) as best I could during my absolute peak season. Some people are never happy. What can I say....

I have taken a great deal of time looking for a place in NYC that was clean, well located, well maintained, and exactly as described. I chose this property because it not only met, but exceeded all of these key requirements. Beyond this, the individual I dealt with in renting the unit is professional, personable, and honorable. This is a place that is not only desirable and enjoyable, but a pleasure to recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional place to stay and enjoy the excitement of NYC. One more significant asset is the extraordinary location of the property. The "F" train is right outside your door, there are great variety of eateries and a supermarket within close walking distance, and Central Park is two blocks away. Did I mention it's a doorman building? In truth, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. It is ideal for an individual or a couple.
