Imagine waking up 30 yards from the beach in your king sized bed. The master bedroom is on the second floor with a balcony facing the water. Waves range from calm, rippling sounds to 2 foot ocean-like breakers. Our family and friends have had hours of fun on rafts and noodles. Sunsets are spectacular and famous on this south shore of Mille Lacs Lake. Mille Lacs Lake is the second largest lake in Minnesota with over 200 square miles ... most days you can't see across it. There are eagles, herons, hummingbirds, orioles, seagulls, and many other birds that are so much fun to watch.
Enjoy relaxing meals in our glassed in porch with screens for summer breezes. We love to grill just outside our porch, toss a salad in our fully equipped kitchen, or walk over to the 19th Hole Bar and Grill. A wood burning fireplace (with wood included) will make your stay comfortable and cozy. Cable, our collection of videocassettes, stereo with tapes, magazines, and many books are all yours for "hanging out at the lake." Izatys Resort is delightful!
A beautiful golf course and small pond are just across from our entry. Izatys Black Brook is an 18 hole championship course, a complementary 3 hole 3 par golf course, free putting and chipping greens, driving range, marina with fishing launches and slips, swimming pool and hot tub, restaurant, and tennis courts are all within a few minutes walking distance. History dating back to an early copper making culture is at a small museum at Kathio State Park-with many family activities just a 15 minute drive. Just 5 minutes further is an incredible Native American museum across the street from Grand Casino Mille Lacs. Gifts and souvenirs abound in the many gift shops in Isle, Waukon, and Onamia.
