Architecturally designed duplex with lower two levels available. Located only minutes walk to the subway and 24-hour street car, this gorgeous home has hardwood floors, a wood burning fireplace, an eat-in kitchen with an exposed brick wall and built-in television.
There are two bedrooms, one in the front and the other in the rear. The front bedroom is the master bedroom with a wall-to-wall closet and south facing window. The second bedroom is at the rear and has a second Queen size bed, suitable for 2 people & a separate entrance from the rear garden. Located on the lower level is the stacking clothes washer & dryer which are included at no additonal charge.
At the end of the block is located one of Toronto's most famous parks, Withrow Park. An absolutely stunning family friendly park with swings for children and a out door rink which is used for skating in the winter months.

Riverdale was the perfect haven for our needs. We were in town with our 3 children (12, 10, 6) combining some business obligations with their winter break. The space easily accommodated all 5 of us without feeling crowded. We were able to have guests over, family meals around the kitchen table and enjoy a quiet movie night in a comfortable, cozy and welcoming environment. The weather (and ice) kept us from enjoying the surrounding parks, trails and playing fields but our itinerary kept us off site during most daylight hours any way. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely. We would absolutely return to Riverdale if our schedules/availability align again. Thank you for providing such a well thought out and comfortable rental.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Excellent location for site seeing around Toronto, lovely house. Everything work efficiently and the owners were willing to accommodate our very late in the day flight arrival.Recommended for: Sightseeing.

Everything was fantastic ! Location was great,very peaceful, easy access to city and to public transport. The apartment was clean and tidy. Everything was well laid out,plenty of cutlery and crockery, plenty of clean linen . Parking was an added bonus. When travelling to Toronto again we will definitely stay there.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

The suite is a short easy walk to the subway , shopping and excellent restaurants. The off street parking provided out back was a must for our rental car, which we used also. The suite is clean, quiet , and well stocked with towels,dishes, linens etc. Wilfred met us at the property exactly as arranged and is very helpful. We would stay here again if returning to Toronto. We recommend this property to anyone looking for a safe convenient place to stay in the city.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We found the suite to be very clean, well stocked with towels, dishes and cooking apparatus. The location was great since the metro station was just a quick 5 min walk. We also rented another suite and when meeting Wilfred he gave us a tour of a third rental all with in a couple minutes of each other. The updates, layouts and furnishings are very tastefully done. We would highly recommend this to others.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

The location was ideal for us. Close to the park and our son's home. We enjoyed the back patio and having a parking space in the back. I was disappointed with the cleanliness. When we arrived the bathroom garbage was full, there was food on the kitchen floor, a few bugs in the cutlery drawer, overall quite dusty. I asked the owner to please have a cleaning service come in as we were staying for a month. He did not do this so I did some cleaning myself.Recommended for: Tourists without a car.

I enjoyed this location. It was nice to have a yard to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Everything was very clean. It was close to shopping resturants and the subway. I will recommend this suite.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

This rental is amazing! Clean and so beautifully decorated. It's just three blocks to the metro station, so you can park your car and not have to worry about traffic and parking when visiting the sites in Toronto. We are a family with two small kids (ages 2 & 4) and it was the perfect layout for us. Greektown is just down the road along with lots of fabulous restaurants. Can't say enough great things about this place.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

This rental is located in the Greek Town section of Toronto and it is conveniently located to every amenity imaginable. Short walk to a plethora of restaurants, shops, and services. We always felt safe in this neighborhood, as we did throughout the city of Toronto. This is truly an international city with a rich diversity that adds to a vacation experience. Public transportation was very convenient.The owner Wilfred, has tastefully decorated the unit and we found it to be clean, well stocked, and attention to detail. We would rent this unit again in the future.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

The Unique Benefits at this House:
Close to public transit, parks, shopping in minutes to downtown. Note: We have a lot of 'grandparents' repeatedly coming to stay with us as their children live in Toronto and there is little room to stay with them and their grandchildren - it allows them privacy and quiet during the evenings. Also we have a number of local families that have stayed with us as their house was being renovated - they just add a little more on to the cost of the renovation to maintain some form of 'normalcy' as their lives are turned upside down during the reno's - a great idea!
