We are a family of four from Christchurch, NZ, and recently stayed 8 nights at this fantastic property close to downtown Toronto. The property is represented exactly as per the photos on the website, and was ideal for our purposes. It has two large bedrooms downstairs with the well appointed bathroom in between. The living area upstairs is spacious and the kitchen has everything you would need. Wilhelm was there to greet us and show us around as organised, and could not have been more helpful. He was always available if needed, but the information on the local area he supplies is very comprehensive. The location of this property is one of its greatest attractions. Just around the corner from Danforth St where there are lots of restaurants, and even though we had a vehicle, you could walk to downtown if you wanted a bit of exercise. Withrow Park and its outdoor skating rink are just a few hundred metres away (a must for our hockey mad son). We would absolutely stay in this property again if we were in Toronto, and believe it represents extraordinary value for money. Highly recommended!

My 7 yr-old daughter and I spent one month during the summer here and really enjoyed our time at this location! The house is as pictured, the parking in back is very helpful since we rarely used our car. When we did have family come and visit, we were able to obtain a street parking permit through the city of Toronto's online site for their car. The patio area is a wonderful area to enjoy summer dinners or to have a drink and read a book! The kitchen is well stocked with plates, cups, silverware, pots and pans. The large livingroom/sitting room gives you area to spread out. The large flat screened TVs are definitely an extra perk! The bedrooms are large enough to suit your needs and having the washer and dryer were a God send. The nearest subway station is Pape, which is near the corner of Pape and Danforth, an easy 5 min walk (4 block) from the apartment. There are several grocery stores within short walking distance, as well as many shops, fruit stands and, of course, restaurants, since you are right off the Danforth. Withrow Park is at the end of the street, which is great for kids and we spent many hours playing soccer, using the spash pools and playing on the playgrounds. Riverdale Park is a bit further east, about a 15 min walk and that park has an outdoor pool. The apartment is located in a nice, safe, neighborhood where we enjoyed a strong sense of family and community. We will definitely check into renting again when we find ourselves in Toronto in the future. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay in your house - it was perfect for us and we enjoyed the walk to and from our daughter's home. We hope to have some concrete plans for our summer visit and will be getting in contact with you very soon. We are targeting the last days of June. It looks as if this place is full, but your other place may be available. I'll be in touch soon. Thank you - it was a pleasure to meet you - S & B

This property is conveniently located near subway in a residential area near Withrow Park and Greek town - all walking distance. The apartment is fully equiped and has very nice funiture and interior design. The fotos are the actual state of the place. No complaints when saying that it could get a bit crowded with 6 people and probably not ideal for anybody looking for the downtown nightlife but perfect for families and 2 couples exploring the city.
Owner response:This review is excellent an please post!

This house was perfect for our stay with my 4 and 6 year old children. The house was lovely and the park nearby was wonderful. We would stay here again if we visited Toronto in a minute. The property was clean and in great shape and had all the amenities we needed. Also in a terrific neighborhood. I would recommend it for travelers with or without children.

I would like to strongly recommend this property. It is excellently equipped and very comfortable. It is excellently located just off of the Danforth where there are plenty of supermarkets and Greek Restaurants. Access to Downtown Toronto is very easy via the Metro system or even by car. With 5 of us, it was more cost effective to drive. I have never stayed in a holiday home with 4 TVs before and that helped to keep everyone happy. I would recommend anyone wanting to stay in the Toronto area to look at this property. I would also recommend Toronto as a place to visit.

I would highly recommend this property and already have to family members. The apartment was tastefully decorated and fully equipped with TV's in every room and WIFI access. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with towels and other essentials. The deck at the rear was lovely for enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine - its just a pity we didn't have more time to relax ! We had a car and found the off street parking essential and had no problems accessing Downtown Toronto from here. However, with public transport close by a car is not needed. There are plenty of good restaurants (mainly Greek) within walking distance on the Danforth and several supermarkets nearby.
