You can also take in these attractions: the McKenna Children’s Museum, the Snake Farm, Landa Park, where you can see the natural spring that feeds the Comal River, golf at Landa Park Municipal Golf Course, experience Texas’ oldest dance hall Gruene Hall. Gruene is also famous for their fine dining, entertainment, and wine tasting, or shop the famous outlet malls Prime and Tanger with just a short 15 minute drive to San Marcos.
Executive River Retreat is situated between Austin and San Antonio, with numerous tourist attractions within a reasonable driving distance. If your vacation plans include a trip to San Antonio to visit Sea World, Fiesta Texas, the Riverwalk, Natural Bridge Caverns, or the Alamo, Executive River Retreat is minutes from IH-35, and a 45-minute drive to downtown San Antonio. Austin (the State capital of Texas) is known for its live music and exquisite restaurants and is a one hour drive.
This upscale house can accommodate all your family or company needs to make your stay comfortable and includes all the modern day conveniences such as: flat screen televisions, cable, and internet access. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials for your cooking needs and offers a Sub-Zero Refrigerator, ice-maker, beautiful island kitchen, and a separate wet-bar.
Executive River Retreat can also host weddings, family reunions, family vacations, spiritual retreats, and company functions and we also offer assistance with function planning. Special arrangements can be made for weddings on the deck overlooking the river and/or wedding pictures.
We also have additional waterfront property available to rent. Four units that can accommodate up to six people each are fully furnished and include all amenities, and one unit that can accommodate up to 18. The entire property can accommodate up to 42 people. Please contact us for details.
