Located minutes from Schlitterbahn voted the best water park, and minutes from picturesque downtown New Braunfels. You can also take in these attractions: the McKenna Children’s Museum, the Snake Farm, Landa Park, where you can see the natural spring that feeds the Comal River, golf at Landa Park Municipal Golf Course, experience Texas’ oldest dance hall Gruene Hall. Gruene is also famous for their fine dining, entertainment, and wine tasting, or shop the famous outlet malls Prime and Tanger with just a short 15 minute drive to San Marcos.
Edwards River Retreat is situated between Austin and San Antonio, with numerous tourist attractions within a reasonable driving distance. A wonderful well kept home on the edge of town. Split floor plan, 4 bedrooms, office space and huge kitchen/living area, they were all terrific. Best thing was the view, all of the windows in the back looked out at the Guadalupe River. And the river view was so special! Nice and quiet area, neighbors friendly but left you alone. Beds slept great, kitchen had everything we needed. Easy access to many other small Texas towns and getting to Austin and San Antonio was just minutes. Loved the Gruene area - shops, restaurtants, wineries and events. Favorite places to eat lunch in New Braunfels was Craving! Would eat there all the time if we lived there. McAdoo's, Gruene River Grill,Huisache Grill, Fork and Spoon, Cooper's Old Time BBQ, Mozie's and Gristmill were all great also. Our contact person Cathy was terrific, she made our stay very special. We would recommend this to anyone and we would stay there again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

High Season (May-Aug) WEEKLY and MONTHLY RENTALS ONLY .. $5000/week Low Season (Oct-Apr) $2000/week .. $3000/mo Cleaning Fee $170 PET DEPOSIT $250 (REFUNDABLE) Deposit is $1,500 and is due at time of reservation. $100 cancellation fee is charged anytime after booking reservation. Cancellation must be prior to 14 days of arrival date or one night stay will be charged. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR HOLIDAY CANCELLATIONS!
