As VRBO condo owners, we are quite picky about where we stay and who we rent from and we also realize that it's tough for all renters to navigate the waters of online vacation home choosing. We were MORE than thrilled with our choice of this fantastic home! The photos absolutely do not do the view justice. Perfectly nestled onto its own private shoreline this small, tastefully decorated home boasts a view from nearly every spot you look. The Seattle skyline feels like its just a few miles away and is capped by the perfect frame of the Cascades. The owners have gone to great lengths in creating a simply but perfectly appointed spot with just the right amenities for a vacation. This is a vacation home we will be returning to and owners who we would be more than happy to rent from any time. We appreciated every communication and were incredibly pleased when any question we had was quickly answered. Thank you Carla and Pat! You have a remarkable home away from home!!!!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

All the comforts of home, but in a contemporary and recently remodeled home with million dollar views. I hope to come back for a future getaway! Many parks and hiking nearby, beach access and I loved watching the ferries come and go.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway.

This home is just wonderful. It's clean, tastefully decorated, and had everything we could have needed, plus so many extras! All the furnishings were comfortable and top notch. The one thing I just don't think you can sufficiently convey in the listing is the view. I truly don't believe there's probably a better view of the Seattle skyline anywhere. To be treated to this panorama in both the living room and the master bedroom is a treat, at all times of day and night. We enjoyed navigating the island. Although we enjoyed our time visiting Seattle, we equally enjoyed the charms and relaxed nature of Bainbridge Island. We are often eager to stay in new places, but all agreed that when we return to Seattle, we will definitely be returning to this property. It was one of the highlights of our vacation. The owners are delightful and easy to work with. Thank you for all your attention to detail in your home as well as your hospitality in terms of answering questions and providing great advice to help us thoroughly enjoy our stay. We would recommend this house to anyone (and will be!) without reservation.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This house is ideal for vacation. The location is spectacular with views of downtown Seattle and all the activity across the Sound. The house is modern and well equipped: fully stocked kitchen, immaculate linens and towels, even a binder with brouchures of local attractions, and family games for stay-at-home days.. The icing on the cake is the owners are outstanding and gracious! They kept in touch with me throughout the rental process, responding promptly to any questions. If you go there - you will not be disappointed!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a wonderful place to get away from the city. Spectacular view, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and modern furniture. The owners are very accommodating. Perfect distance from town, you feel like you are removed from city life but are still close enough to take advantage of what the Bainbridge has to offer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We brought our 2 teenagers and 9 year old son, and there was something for everyone! Nearby hiking and the beachfront for the youngster, shopping in town for our teenage daughter, and wifi for the teenage boy. Everyone was happy! The kitchen was very user friendly, and I really appreciated the extra inflatable mattress so everyone had their own bed. The view is spectacular, and the house offers all the amenities of home. Winslow is a quaint little town with something for everyone. We even caught a movie, loaded up on seafood at the local grocery store, and pastries from the bakery for breakfast. Can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We really loved this home. The location is terrific and the views were spectacular. You look out the windows and what you see is this incredible body of water, magnificent sky, and the coastline of Seattle. One day we could even see the snow capped Mt. Ranier. It was such a nice place to come home to every day. Everything was comfortable, clean, and we were so happy to be staying there. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, etc. - everything you could need. There was so much natural light streaming through all of the windows - we could have stayed forever. The owners were really nice. This is a wonderful gem and we highly recommend it!!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

About the owner: We have been fans of Bainbridge Island for a very long time and when the opportunity to acquire this home arose, we couldn't resist. We have spent over three decades managing award winning hotels saw this house as a great chance to marry our professional experience with a love for the island. Both of us are avid cyclists, sailors, and dog lovers which are just some of the many outdoor activities that you can enjoy on Bainbridge. We hope you have the opportunity to stay with us and enjoy all that our location has to offer.
Why the Owner Chose Bainbridge Island:
We fell in love with this house because of the stunning view of Seattle and Puget Sound from every room in the house. The other advantages are its low traffic south island location, great cycling, kayaking, diving and wonderful light filled rooms.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This is a great house for activities such as sipping coffee while watching the sun come up over Seattle and the cascades, sitting on the beach with a campfire or just walking the dog to Halls Hill Overlook.
For those wanting more physical activities the south island location is convenient to cycling over to Lynnwood for a morning pastry, jumping on one of the hiking trails close by or kayaking to Blakely harbor.
