Aug 27 - Sept 6 - My bride and I celebrated our 21st anniversary here. We enjoyed hiking and kayaking, flying and ATVing and lots more. However, we mostly enjoyed time together at your cottage. We saw bear, foxes, deer, ground hogs, vultures and hawks. For us the time here provided an opportunity to re-connect on many levels and realize what is really important. The peacefulness and quiet surroundings were truly energizing. Thank you! Gary and Karen

20-23 Aug 2010 – What a wonderful weekend! We loved everything about the cottage, from its romantic atmosphere to its peaceful location. 14-20 Aug 2010 – This charming cabin was perfect for our honeymoon! We loved everything about it, especially the cozy bed and the hot tub. Your advertising cold not possibly do justice to how wonderful a retreat you provide at Sweet Dreams. My husband and I desperately needed a couple only weekend. In my mind I could not have created a more perfect lodging. The fountain ran almost the entire weekend, the bed was absolute heaven, the privacy idealistic. I can not make recommendations of "things to do" because I never once left the cottage! I hope we will return to your beautiful cottage - but it will always remain a very special memory for us!

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful little cottage with us. It really was the perfect getaway from the "real world". Also, it was just what the doctor ordered for our 14 1/2 year old dog, Candy. She was more relaxed and carefree than we've seen her in months, and she absolutely loved the dog bed! Our 3 1/2 year old, Snickers, had a blast too, and especially liked removing all the toys from the basket, and spreading them around the cottage. Thank you again. We are so glad we stayed the extra night and we will definitely be back!

7/10/2010 - I can not express my thanks and appreciation and joy enough in a few words. We came here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and a weekend getaway from our work and kids and you gave us the most perfect holiday in your Sweet Dreams Cottage. The 2 days zipped past so fast, but we will remember these 2 days forever in our lives. We have taken some photographs of this cottage as our sweet memories. All your sweet touches like the welcome board, wine and card in the fridge, neat beds and a full kitchen. The bath and body products in the bathroom, the hot tub - all were wonderful and touching. 7/8/2010- Thank you for sharing your Sweet Dreams cottage with us over our 7th year anniversary getaway. We were delighted with our stay and very much appreciate all of your special touches to make us feel welcome. We enjoyed the comforts of the cottage: hot tub, airconditioning (it was quite a hot spell while we were here), fountain, lumbar chairs, comfortable bed, lovely screened in porch and communing with nature. During our stay we visited the New Market Museum (civil war) and drove through Skyline Drive (daily). For future guests, we recommend the following hikes: Fox Hollow in North, Stoney Man in Central and Loft Mountain in South. Thanks again and best wishes! Brian and Kathy

We had such a great time here. Our honeymoon was just what we wanted and what we needed after such a crazy weekend. We would love to come back one day. The hot tub was great as was the massage chairs. The hummingbirds are so pretty - we fed them and they went crazy for it. We went canoeing with the Shenandoah Outfitters yesterday. 6/27/2010 - We have been looking forward to our anniversary weekend for sometime and this did not disappoint. The minute we walked in all of lifes stresses melted away. The massage chairs and hot tub are nice but the views of nature and the warm and inviting nature of the cabin put us right at ease. Sweet Dreams had everything we needed and made us feel like we were in our home away from home. 1/7/2010 - Thank you so much for allowing us to spend a few days at this peaceful cabin. It was incredibly relaxing and so nice to be away from everything. We went hiking on the AT yesterday for a few miles in the snow and ice. The hot tub and fireplace were especially welcoming. Oh, and the dog couldn't decide which toy to play with. The Sweet Dreams Cottage was the perfect place for a quiet getaway and was exactly as advertised and more. The first night there, I proposed to my girlfriend and we got to celebrate all week by relaxing in the hot tub, reading by the fire, and looking at the beautiful scenery out the window. The cabin is small and cozy but very spacious and comfortable. The owner of the house was extremely kind and hospitable and encouraged us to treat the home as if it were our own. Words can't describe how wonderful our trip was. I highly recommend this property for any couple looking for a perfect romantic trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here these glorious 3 nights. Sweet Dreams is an appropriate name, we both slept blissfully! Thank you for the personal touches - they made us feel very welcomed here and we felt free to make ourselves at home. 9/22-9/24 - Dear Jim and Donna - What a great time we had relaxing and pampering ourselves at your cozy cottage. It was a great way to spend our 22nd wedding anniversary. We took full advantage of all the luxuries - never even once left the cottage once we arrived. Love, Love, Loved the scrreened porch and hot tub. Thanks a gazillion for having the spa robes for us. (I lived in it during our stay). The massage chairs were a pleasant surprise. Now I want some at my house. You truly have thought of everything. We wanted for nothing while we were here (as evidenced by the fact that we never left the cottage - why would we???). Again thank you so much for a much needed respite from the real world. Hope to be back soon! Parting in such sweet sorrow.

10/18-10/20 - Thank you so much for a warm welcome and the special touches for our anniversary. The house was such a sweet surprise. When we opened the door to the sounds of trickling water and birds - Very serene. Thank you too for the recommendation of Artisans Grill for our anniversary dinner. Had a fantastic meal - the mixed grill was delicious. The hot tub is such a welcome relief after a day of walking and hiking and the bed was super comfy. Convinced my hubby to get a memory foam topper for our bed! Thanks again for a much needed break from the chaos of life!

10/16-10/18 - What a beautiful welcoming cabin. The water and birds just set you aback (love it). The fireplace is my favorite place to sit in front of.
