Newly refurbished 2 bedroom vacation home in beautiful Lake City!!
Home is located in a quiet residential area with a large 10x30 deck along the south side with a beautiful view of the mountains. Three block walk to the Lake Fork of the Gunnison River, 6-8 blocks to the grocery store and movie theater, and a mile or less to the shops, restaurants, and parks in the historic central business district of Lake City.
Both bedrooms have king size beds. Large 32" television with cable, DVR Player and a few DVDs provided. Wi-Fi service is available and telephone for local calls.
Kitchen is fully equipped with full size stove, refrigerator, all cooking utensils, dishes, microwave, coffee pot, & toaster. Bed, bath and kitchen linens provided.

Very disappointing. The first day their washer flooded half the house which we then spent a whole day taking care of on our vacation. We lost the bedroom for the rest of our time there and the place smelled so awful. Property owners didn't even offer a small compensation or thanks for all the clean up we did. Also their housekeeper left the doors wide open with all of our belongings inside when we asked her to please lock when she left after taking the wet vac.Did you find this review helpful? We had a great time staying in this cabin - it was close to the river and downtown, and we liked walking the very quiet neighborhood! The views from the deck were fabulous! The large deer in the yard was a surprise, and there were lots of bunnies everywhere! The cabin was clean and very well furnished - we lacked nothing as far as home comforts go, and the owners were very easy to work with and responsive to questions, etc. We'd stay here again - I've been coming to Lake City for 20 years and have never stayed in town, but will again. Loved it!Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Thanks for renting us your vacation cabin. We had a Great Vacation in Lake City. We enjoyed everything about our trip. We like that the cabin was close to town and met all our needs. We met the housekeeper, Carol, and became just like old friends, she gave us alot of information on where to ride our atv and some history on the town, We were sorry that we had only one week. Just wished that we didn't live so far, 24 hours is a long drive. Thanks again for a fantastic Vacation.... Vanessa, Blaine and SamRecommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children.
