  This is a very well-designed house. It might not seem big from the outside, but there's plenty of space, especially in the basement. We had six adults and eight kids, and we were quite comfortable. The deck, patio, and yard are all excellent, and it's a very short walk to a wonderful beach. Some nice perks were the iPod dock and the TVs. It was very clean when we arrived. The photos are accurate. We would definitely book this house again!

  This rental property has ruined us for life. Our family had never taken an extended vacation on Lake Michigan until last year. We spent almost three weeks at Summer Joy and they were the most relaxing weeks I've ever spent with our children. The place is absolutely flawless- perfectly decorated (with all the colors I love!!), impeccably cared for and of super high quality. I would die to have one of their waterfall-type outdoor showers at our house!!! All the bathrooms and the kitchen are remodeled with the attention to every detail. Yet, it remains a super cozy cottage that just facilitates the most peaceful and laid back environment to spend quality time together. There are 2 porches- our kids used both for reading, playing cards, games, guitar,...The adults loved coffee on the front porch overlooking the water...The kitchen set up is perfect for serving large groups with ease. I loved our family meals. There are also multiple TVs and a great movie collection that we took advantage of. Last but not least, the owners are the most attentive and caring people you will ever rent from. You and your entire family will never want to rent another place and will want to come back every year.

  Our family spent an incredible week at Summer Joy last summer. The house is absolutely gorgeous and comfy and is well-outfitted for big groups. Every detail has been paid attention to, and the caretakers welcomed us and make sure we were taken care of throughout the week. Every room in the house is beautiful, the deck is heaven, and having the beach just out the back door was awesome. I've seldom felt so relaxed and at home and pampered. If we could go back every summer for a few weeks, we would! THANK YOU SO MUCH SUMMER JOY!

  My family, brother's family, sister's family and my parents stayed for a week in this beautiful home. This was the best house we ever rented up in Long Beach. It was so nice being so close to the beach, we bring ALOT to the beach. I loved everything about this house. Everything is top notch, it is beautifully decorated! Beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, great showers! We bar-b-qued every night, prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner in the spacious kitchen, plenty of seating for eating inside or out on the deck. We had our morning coffee on the deck every morning. It was a wonderful week spending time with my family just talking, laughing, eating, playing games etc.! We are going back again this year and cannot wait! It was just perfect! It truly is the highlight of our summer!

$5000/week for first two weeks in June
$5250/week for second two weeks in June
$5500-$6000/week for July and August through Labor Day
50% Deposit (of rental fee) plus $1000 Security Deposit to secure reservation.
Remainder of rental fee due prior to check-in.
