This charming, newly renovated and artistically decorated 5 bedroom 4 bath lake front cottage is the perfect setting for a reunion of family or friends. Comfortably sleeping 16, it can accommodate up to 4 families.
The main level of the house features a relaxing screened in porch with a wicker swing, chairs and glider. Plenty of dining and game tables are also provided for fun and togetherness. A spacious deck and two additional patios on the lake side of the house provide generous seating and beautifully furnished settings for dining, lounging, and relaxation. The front garden is protected from the street offering a quaint, quiet garden experience. Interior open living spaces offer stylish and comfortable places to watch TV (3 HDTV flat screens, DVD player and cable), listen to music (CD player, IPOD docks provided), write a letter (high speed internet / snail) or just relax in front of the fire place while watching both clouds and boats sail by.
The beach and sunsets are second to none, and can be enjoyed by simply stepping outside your back door.
The kitchen is newly designed and well appointed, featuring granite counter tops, a Thermador double oven, a 6 burner cook top, stainless steel side by side refrigerator, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. A second kitchen on the lower level offers extra space to prepare meals and expedite clean up with a second dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave.
Four of the bedrooms are furnished with new queen sized luxurious pillow top mattresses. Sheets and bedding have been chosen with both comfort (600 thread count cotton) and beauty in mind. An adorable bunk room features a double bed and two twin bunk beds. The lower level sun room provides both sleeping privacy and clothing storage, accommodating four people on two day beds with pop up trundles. A third day bed and trundle are also available on the lower level.
All bathrooms are new or have been updated. The upper level bathroom features a lovely soaking tub. Glass and marble tile provide charm and beauty in the other bathrooms, which are equipped with rain and hand held shower systems. A beach shower with hot and cold water is also provided.
The house provides parking for 4 cars and a gas grill.

Off Season Weekend pricing $2505 for three night stay, $1750 for two night stay
Off Season Holiday weekend THREE NIGHT MINIMUM $3000, for three night stay
50% Deposit (of rental fee) plus $1000 Security Deposit to secure reservation.
Remainder of rental fee due prior to check-in.

Our family spent an incredible week at Summer Joy last summer. The house is absolutely gorgeous and comfy and is well-outfitted for big groups. Every detail has been paid attention to, and the caretakers welcomed us and make sure we were taken care of throughout the week. Every room in the house is beautiful, the deck is heaven, and having the beach just out the back door was awesome. I've seldom felt so relaxed and at home and pampered. If we could go back every summer for a few weeks, we would! THANK YOU SO MUCH SUMMER JOY!

My family, brother's family, sister's family and my parents stayed for a week in this beautiful home. This was the best house we ever rented up in Long Beach. It was so nice being so close to the beach, we bring ALOT to the beach. I loved everything about this house. Everything is top notch, it is beautifully decorated! Beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, great showers! We bar-b-qued every night, prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner in the spacious kitchen, plenty of seating for eating inside or out on the deck. We had our morning coffee on the deck every morning. It was a wonderful week spending time with my family just talking, laughing, eating, playing games etc.! We are going back again this year and cannot wait! It was just perfect! It truly is the highlight of our summer!
