  We had a great time here. It was our first time at Sugar Beach which we found to be wonderful and peaceful compared to busy South Kihei. The ground floor unit meant easy access for our inflatable kayak and paddleboard so we could all go out to see the turtles on the reef in front of the building every morning. The unit was very well-equipped, even had a rice cooker which was a bonus! Our 8-year old loved boogey-boarding, the pool, and the lawn out front of the unit to play catch, and the parents enjoyed the lanai at happy hour. Note, i'd recommend a car here to get groceries, etc. as the buses were busy, we hear. Loved the shave ice place across from the canoe club - yum!! The resort is close to Mailea for the aquarium and whale watching tours. It was so nice at the unit and close to the bbqs that we only went out for dinner once in two weeks. Hope to come back soon, and would stay in this unit again. The owners were great to deal with!! Aloha!

  We loved the easy access to the beach and BBQ area. The unit is well equipped, maintained and very comfortable. We love that it has an extra TV in the bedroom. . The beach is perfect for families and children as well as long walks! It would be an excellent place to call your Hawaiian home! Our favorite restaurant is Longhi's at Wailea (order the MongChong fish served Longhi style). We also love the fish tacos at Jawz in Kihei.

  Our stay at the Sugar Beach Resort was very memorable. Our housing accommodation was exceptional. The condo was clean, presentable, comfortable, accomodating and met all our needs. The condo was also conveniently situated near the town of Kihei, tourist and non-tourist activities and the airport. Also, enjoyed hearing the ocean waves hitting against the shore daily... it was very relaxing. And having the ocean, pool, hot tube and grills at our finger tips whenever we needed it was wonderful. Looking forward to staying Sugar Beach Resort again.

  This is a great location for those vacationers that want to be in Central Maui- about 30 min drive from Lahaina, 10 min. from Wailea, 1 hr from Haleakala Crater. While this is a busy area on the island, it worked well for us. We took advantage of the location to drive to Hana, Haleakala NP, Lahaina harbor for a boat cruise, and to visit some of the public beaches near Kapalua. The condo sleeps 4, although it works best for 2 since the other bed is a pullout couch located in the main living space of the condo. The condo is located about 50 ft. from the beach, which makes morning walks to collect shells, and evening strolls on the beach very convenient! The owners have the condo well-stocked with body boards, cooking pans and utensils, and beach chairs. The kids also enjoyed the condo's pool, while the adults soaked in the condo's hot tub in the evenings. Enjoy your stay!

  Our time at Sugar Beach was a great vacation. Unit was clean, well laid out, with several nice luxuries. Such as a bedroom TV, water toys, and the kitchen was well equipped.It felt like a home away from home, and was a great place to launch our adventures on the beach and into the community. There were no restictive rules, etc. to be concerned with.

  This is our third time staying in this Unit at Sugar Beach Resort. The condo is immaculate and the location is fabulous. The owners are very loyal to their returning renters which makes us remain loyal to them. We have stayed in a few other rentals at Sugar Beach and this Unit is by far the best.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach. The location on the ground floor was great for kids with the grass to play, the pool and beach nearby. The snorkelling out front and the small waves were also fun for the whole family. The unit was very clean and well looked after too. The chairs, buckets and shovels, towels and boogey boards were very nice to have provided for us as well. We noticed the difference between our condo and others that were not as nicely decorated or as cozy. we would definately stay at this condo again....thank you!!

  Pictures do not do justice to the lovely condo or the gorgeous scenery. Gary & Kara were friendly, helpful & not only answered all of our questions, but gave us insight into many things we did not even realize we would want to know about the condo & the area. Plenty of parking in the well-lit parking lot, the gardens & Koi pond with waterfall are beautiful. The condo was very clean, well-maintained & beautifully decorated. The amenities were not exaggerated; the Moores supplied EVERYTHING we could have possibly wanted or needed. Seriously...beautiful stoneware dishes, glasses, stemware, serve-ware, mixing bowls, cookware, bake-ware, cutting boards, measuring cups & spoons, every utensil I could possibly have needed was right there! I even used the large plastic pitcher as a vase so that I could have fresh flowers inside! There were plenty of sheet sets, pillows & the bed was so comfy. Lots of fluffy bath & kitchen towels, even some new beach towels! We found plastic toys & buckets with little shovels in the hall closet (if making sand-castles is your thing) & chairs, a small umbrella & an ice chest are in the bedroom closet, along with a light-weight boogie-board that CAN be (& WAS) used by a large adult. Games, a few books & many CD's were there to enjoy, as well as candles for ambiance! Every appliance functioned perfectly. The A/C was put to the test as well, because I like it COLD when I sleep. We stayed 2 glorious weeks; it really was a "home" away from home. Grilled often at the BBQ area which is kept spotless, sunsets are different each evening...all BREATHTAKING!! Morning walks along the shore after coffee on the Lanai, moonlit walks at night & listening to the waves anytime...PRICELESS! The ON SITE office ladies can book ANYTHING for you or supply you with all the info & pamphlets you need to go off on your own, free of charge & the computer access was truly a blessing. On site there is also a little market, a FANTASTIC sandwich shop/bar that is a MUST SEE (don't want to spoil it by saying why!) & you must taste their homemade potato salad when you get one of their YUMMY (& filling) sandwiches. We took advantage of the on site masseuse a few times...FABULOUS (book through the office/travel agent for a discount!!) We went to Maui for 2 reasons: celebrate our 25th anniv. & SCUBA DIVE!!! We dived every other day with Ed Robinson & even saw a reef shark... it was SPECTACULAR! Molokini is a wonderland of varied dive spots. We will go back again!

  beautiful condo -clean-everything you need is there. Bed was comfortable and everything felt clean and it was.no surprises. Loved the bbqs being so close right out the door and your there. Pool well maintained everything at sugar beach was wonderful, except we wouldn't spend another dollar in the sandwitch shop they were rude slow and had the attitude of you can wait while i stand here and do nothing. Walk right out the door and your own on the the beach. Its beautiful. The sunsets are unbelievable. Loved the condo. LOVED our stay. You have a beautiful home in paradise. Thank you for letting us borrow your home.

Payment via Check (USD) is preferred payment method. Owner's can accept credit card payment via Paypal.

Cancellation Policy: For a deposit refund, less a $150.00 fee, cancellation is required 30 days or more prior to arrival date. For cancellations received within 30 days of arrival or after arrival date, Payments will be retained. If the space can be re-rented, a pro-rata refund will be issued.

To Secure Reservation: 3-night Deposit (non-taxed) at time of reservation.

Final Payment: Balance of Payment is due no later than 30-days prior to the start of reservation.

Additional Fees and Taxes:

Hawaii State Tax Rate is 13.42%

Cleaning Fee: $90.00 (non-taxed)

For Reservations 4-nights or less: $50 Reservation Fee (non-taxed)

Late Check Out Available - up to 9:00pm: Add 1/2 of Daily Rate plus tax.
