Location, Location, Location. Just 15-steps to the warm white sands of Sugar Beach is our number one selling point. Our Unit #120 is a ground floor beachfront unit which allows very quick and easy access to the beach. Just off of the lanai, you will find a small grass area with a path that leads to the beach.
Our Condo has just been updated with new Furniture, Carpeting, Paint and is in pristine condition!
Staying in a ground floor unit means that you do not need to ride elevators and walk the hallways to your Unit. It also means that you can open you patio door and extend your living space out on to the grass area just beyond the lanai. This is great especially when traveling with kids who love to get out doors and play on the grass area. Our Unit is located very close to the center of the building which means you are located extremely close to the swimming pool and gas BBQ Grills, making it easy to get around the resort.
The view from our Unit is excellent with low shrubs, and no trees blocking your view. We take great pride to insure that our Unit is rated as a top Unit. In 2006 & 2007 our Unit was occupied over 300 days for the year. 2008 was less due to construction, remodeling, and updating of the Sugar Beach Resort. All Construction work is now Complete. (smile, smile smile).
The location of the Sugar Beach Resort is right in the middle of the Island, which makes it easy to branch out and visit other parts of the Island. You are located about 10 miles south of the Maui Airport, on the Southern Shores of Maui. You have quick access to the many shops and businesses of Kahului, while you are located in the middle of the towns of Wailea, and Lahaina. If you are the type who likes to explore it is very easy to go one direction one day and another the next which makes it convenient and easy to explore the entire Island of Maui.
The location of the Sugar Beach Resort finds you just steps away from the longest stretch of sandy beach on the Island of Maui (approx. 5 miles long). You are also very close to the Maalaea Harbor which has boating excursions and a world class Ocean Aquarium.
Although our family enjoys cooking fresh meals on the BBQ Grills at the Resort, there are many great restaurants on the Island to choose from. There are so many activities to choose from on Maui, which would include Golfing, Snorkeling, Canoeing, Fishing, Whale Watching, and bike riding just to mention a few.
In summary, we are located about 15 minutes from the Airport. About 5 minutes to Maalaea. About 15 minutes to Wailea. 20 minutes to Lahaina.
About 30 minutes to Kaanapali, But most important.... Just 15-steps from our Unit to the white sands of Sugar Beach Resort!

Why the Owner Chose Sugar Beach
Maui is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Working as an Airline Pilot I have had the unique chance to travel and stay at many places in the world, and have always found the Hawaiian Islands and Maui in particular to be a great place to go. Maui offers some of the nicest beaches of all of the Islands. They frequently say "Maui No Ka 'Oi" which simple means Maui is the best! We had stayed several times at the Sugar Beach Resort and really liked the location and the friendly atmosphere we found there. You can't get any closer to the beach and water! It is only 15 steps from the Lanai of our ground floor Unit to the white sands of Sugar Beach! Imagine having your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail just a few steps from the beachfront. Our beachfront is sandy and is great for sunbathing, swimming, boogie boarding, snorkeling, building sand castles or simply walking the shoreline. We have 5-miles of soft white sand for walking or jogging right in front of our Resort. Our Family goes to Maui 2 to 3 times per year, which allows us to make sure our Condo is 1st Class. We are constantly upgrading and updating our Condo to make sure it would be rated as an A+ Unit We receive from feedback from our guests who compare our Unit with others at the Sugar Beach Resort, and it is very common for guests to write us and comment that our Unit was the “best equipped and the nicest unit they have stayed at while vacationing at the Sugar Beach Resort”.

If you have a late flight off the Island - you can pre-arrange for a late check out up til 9:00 PM. The cost to guarantee a late check out is 1/2 of the daily rate plus tax.
Cancellation Policy: For a deposit refund, less a $150.00 fee, cancellation is required 30 days or more prior to arrival date. For cancellations received within 30 days of arrival or after arrival date, payments will be retained. If the space can be re-rented, a pro-rata refund will be issued less a $150.00 fee.

My wife and I first met in Waikiki while on vacation. This immediately made Hawaii a special place for us. Our family lives in Littleton, Colorado just on the outskirts of Denver. We are lucky to have some great travel benefits due to my employment as an Airline Pilot, which allow our family to go to Maui several times a year. We normally take 2 annual vacations over in Maui spending typically 2 weeks at a time (1 month per year) over in Maui, and rent our condo out the rest of the time. We have 3 boys who consider Maui their second home. It is always a joy for our family to relax on the beach, play at the pool and to enjoy the many sights and activities that Maui has to offer.
