This is our third time staying in this Unit at Sugar Beach Resort. The condo is immaculate and the location is fabulous. The owners are very loyal to their returning renters which makes us remain loyal to them. We have stayed in a few other rentals at Sugar Beach and this Unit is by far the best.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach. The location on the ground floor was great for kids with the grass to play, the pool and beach nearby. The snorkelling out front and the small waves were also fun for the whole family. The unit was very clean and well looked after too. The chairs, buckets and shovels, towels and boogey boards were very nice to have provided for us as well. We noticed the difference between our condo and others that were not as nicely decorated or as cozy. we would definately stay at this condo again....thank you!!

beautiful condo -clean-everything you need is there. Bed was comfortable and everything felt clean and it was.no surprises. Loved the bbqs being so close right out the door and your there. Pool well maintained everything at sugar beach was wonderful, except we wouldn't spend another dollar in the sandwitch shop they were rude slow and had the attitude of you can wait while i stand here and do nothing. Walk right out the door and your own on the the beach. Its beautiful. The sunsets are unbelievable. Loved the condo. LOVED our stay. You have a beautiful home in paradise. Thank you for letting us borrow your home.

We stayed at Sugar Beach for a week and had the time of our lives! The condo was perfect for our family. Most importantly, it is literally in front of the ocean and that's the only thing you can see and hear! It was very comfortable, clean and well decorated. The kids spent hours building sand castles and playing in the ocean and then would walk right over to the pool and play there. The grills are very close to the condo and a fun way to meet other travelers. If you actually want to leave the property, the location on the island can't be beat. Kihei is a great town to spend time in and you can go in either direction to get to the other great locations on Maui. The Moores are fantastic and will make your renting experience enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your home away from home with us!

The condo is perfect for a family or couple visiting Maui. 20 feet to the shore, very nice pool and hot tub, big grilling station with 6 grills. The kitchen worked great for our family of 4. Plenty of room for the whole family with the sofa bed in the front room. Sugar Beach is close to Kihei, so lots of local activities. Make sure you get to Mama's Fish House for a special dinner, Hit the Wal Mart near the airport to stock up as you will come to rely on the kitchen. Easy to rent, the owners are great to work with and the condo is in fantastic condition.

This vacation was the first vacation that the three of us had ever taken together and it turned out to be the vacation of the year. It was so nice to see my daughter and boyfriend make a bond and memories that will last an eternity. We all loved how you could choose to go to the ocean and swim OR a few steps away the pool was right there. Shawn and I enjoyed the safety of the condo and the feeling like we were home. The general store that is on site was really helpful for local questions we had and the little sandwich shop had the BEST and affordable sandwiches. Thank you for giving my family a vacation of a lifetime:)

Excellent location easy access to both the Wailea area and beaches as well as Lahaina and Kannapali.Sugar Beach provided all we needed for our stay and the ability to walk out from the lanai to the beach was a big plus. Being able to take a morning stroll down the beach was a great way to start the day, the conditions of the property and the common areas of Sugar Beach Resort afforded a great vacation. The furnishings and extras of the unit were great, and the sunsets from the lanai with the sounds of the ocean, made it a memorable event. Will definatley return.

Absolute paradise! This was our first trip to Maui and after our stay we are already planning a longer stay next year! The condo is wonderful. We had some trepidation about renting a condo instead of going to a hotel/resort, but from the moment we walked in the door we knew we had chosen right. The condo smelled good. It didn't smell of disinfectant from cleaning, it just smelled pure and simple clean. As we walked in the door we could see through to the lanai and out at the ocean. Our bags were dropped and unpacking could wait. Off we went through the patio doors, across the grass, and onto the sand to walk into the ocean for the first time. The condo had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Each time we would think "oh I need" we would look in a drawer or cupboard and there it was and always easy to find. The bed and the furnishings were all comfortable, no lumpy mattresses here! Dishes were all things I would keep at home and nothing looked worn out or stained. Everything was perfect!! And the drawing the kids had made welcoming us to their home was a sweet welcome. Hawaiian music on CD's provided atmosphere! Each morning I was up at 5AM sitting on the lanai, listening to the waves and watching the sky as the sun started to come up. Then the whales would start splashing and my camera came out to get the pictures of tail flutes and water spouts. Sea turtles could be seen popping their heads up as they swam by. The early morning runners and walkers on the beach could be seen enjoying the sunrise as well. Relaxing was the name of the game while at home in the condo. Touring the island from Sugar Beach is so easy as well! Connections to the main roads are quick and simple to get you going in any direction. No navigating twists and turns required! If you don't want to travel around, everything you need is close by as well. Stores, restaurants, coffee shops - whatever you need you will find - or talk to your neighbor! We found most people had been coming to Sugar Beach for years and they could tell you all the things you should do before you go! Whatever you want to do - relax, walk, hike, tour, shop - it can all be done from Sugar Beach. The owners were wonderful and easy to contact. They made everything easy. From the drive from the airport with their directions to the condo, to providing all the comforts we could ever need during our stay. The hardest part of our trip was leaving!

Pictures do not do justice to the lovely condo or the gorgeous scenery. Gary & Kara were friendly, helpful & not only answered all of our questions, but gave us insight into many things we did not even realize we would want to know about the condo & the area. Plenty of parking in the well-lit parking lot, the gardens & Koi pond with waterfall are beautiful. The condo was very clean, well-maintained & beautifully decorated. The amenities were not exaggerated; the Moores supplied EVERYTHING we could have possibly wanted or needed. Seriously...beautiful stoneware dishes, glasses, stemware, serve-ware, mixing bowls, cookware, bake-ware, cutting boards, measuring cups & spoons, every utensil I could possibly have needed was right there! I even used the large plastic pitcher as a vase so that I could have fresh flowers inside! There were plenty of sheet sets, pillows & the bed was so comfy. Lots of fluffy bath & kitchen towels, even some new beach towels! We found plastic toys & buckets with little shovels in the hall closet (if making sand-castles is your thing) & chairs, a small umbrella & an ice chest are in the bedroom closet, along with a light-weight boogie-board that CAN be (& WAS) used by a large adult. Games, a few books & many CD's were there to enjoy, as well as candles for ambiance! Every appliance functioned perfectly. The A/C was put to the test as well, because I like it COLD when I sleep. We stayed 2 glorious weeks; it really was a "home" away from home. Grilled often at the BBQ area which is kept spotless, sunsets are different each evening...all BREATHTAKING!! Morning walks along the shore after coffee on the Lanai, moonlit walks at night & listening to the waves anytime...PRICELESS! The ON SITE office ladies can book ANYTHING for you or supply you with all the info & pamphlets you need to go off on your own, free of charge & the computer access was truly a blessing. On site there is also a little market, a FANTASTIC sandwich shop/bar that is a MUST SEE (don't want to spoil it by saying why!) & you must taste their homemade potato salad when you get one of their YUMMY (& filling) sandwiches. We took advantage of the on site masseuse a few times...FABULOUS (book through the office/travel agent for a discount!!) We went to Maui for 2 reasons: celebrate our 25th anniv. & SCUBA DIVE!!! We dived every other day with Ed Robinson & even saw a reef shark... it was SPECTACULAR! Molokini is a wonderland of varied dive spots. We will go back again!

My wife and I returned to Maui this past October and this was the perfect beach front condo for our tenth anniversary celebration. We enjoyed massages on the premesis, good food, relaxing at the pool, and the close proximity to several different activities. The condo had everything we needed to make our week long stay incredible. The best attribute was being able to wake up and open the sliding glass doors to the sounds of the ocean, walking about 25 paces with my coffee, and feeling the ocean on my toes. The kitchen and outdoor grills allowed us to keep the trip affordable by not eating out every night. The grill area also provided a social gathering spot to meet others staying in the complex. We were able to access several activities close by including surfing, snorkeling, hiking, shopping, and chilling. The owners are incredible people and were amazingly helpful in answering all of our questions. I can't wait for a return trip; I just hope I don't have to wait ten more years!

Great condo. Photo's don't do it justice. It was even nicer than I expected. Clean carpets, great kitchen, comfy bed and ground floor is the way to go, no need to go up and down elevator to access beach----it's right there! We explored Maui one day only, we mostly just wanted to hang out at Sugar beach eating, drinking and basking in the sun. I will definitely rent this condo again--and what a great price too, beats the mega-resorts on West Maui for sure.

What a great place to visit on Maui! The condo is an easy drive from the airport and is at a great location to visit other parts of the island. You are literally just steps from the beach which is great because you don't have to "schlep" all your stuff out and "schlep" it all back everytime you want to put your toes in the ocean. The condo has all you need for a great and relaxing get away. The kitchen is better stocked than my kitchen at home! The grills are clean and the pool area is lovely and inviting! I can't say enough wonderful things about this property! The owners definitely know how to maintain a property that folks want to come back to again and again!

This condo is the perfect home base for your Maui vacation. The sliding glass doors open up onto a private lanai and then onto a nice lawn for the kids to play on, and then onto the beautiful beach! We loved being able to step outside to check on the kids or watch the sunset without having to go down a bunch of stairs and walk around the building. And when we forgot our suntan lotion or needed a beverage refill? It was so easy to pop back inside. Speaking of inside, the interior looks like it was decorated by a professional! We've stayed in many condos that are sparse and utilitarian...not this one! This is obviously the home away from home for the owners, who have created a beautiful Hawaiian home there in Maui. The kitchen has every appliance and gadget you might need (including rice steamer & blender), there are plenty of dishes and utensils to use and the kitchen is easy to work in. (And this might seem silly, but using beautiful matching plates and utensils makes me feel like I'm staying at a fancy resort, instead of "camping" with mismatched stuff like I have in other condos. How do you explain to your kids why they have to eat their cereal out of a coffee cup? :) ) Sugar Beach Resort itself is perfect for families. The surf isn't too crazy, and we all had a blast boogie boarding on the perfect beginner waves. We walked miles on the soft sand and watched whales all day long. The pool area is nice and is a nice change from the beach when you're ready for some new scenery. The grill area is kept spotlessly clean and is the hangout for all "the guys" in the evening as they check out what each other is cooking... And remember that since we were on the ground floor, we could walk back and forth to the condo for more marinade (or MaiTais). One last thing... Kihei (where Sugar Beach is) is ideally situated away from the traffic of Lahaina and Kaanapali, but close enough to drive there for the day or for dinner. And the other direction is Wailea which is so beautiful but much more expensive. We've stayed all over the island, and Kihei is our favorite location for those reasons... and it also seems to be sunnier than the Kaanapali area... There are great snorkeling spots all around, and we love to watch the outriggers paddle by in the mornings while we're drinking our Kona coffee in our PJs on the lanai... aaahhhh... So, look no further. This is the place to stay! (Just don't book it when we want to stay there! :) )

Gary and Kara- what a fabulous time we had in Hawaii in your condo! Your condo in perfectly situated - beach front and by the pool. The place is conveniently close to shopping and restaurants. The condo was spacious and comfortable for our family of four. We had a vacation that we will remember for the rest of our lives and would love to go back soon!
