I would just like to say that we met up at this little paradise. Teresa was a wonderful host and went above and beyond the call of duty for our quirky little needs. Luxurious comfort, perfect location and so well equipped we were hard done to find any fault at all. Thanks Teresa for all your help to make our week in Kaaawa so very special.

My wife and I wanted to spend the holidays in Oahu this year. I had only been to Hawaii once before and really wanted to be on the water so we had looked at a lot of house rentals. We immediately fell in love with the Honeymoon Villa listing and we lucky enough to secure our desired dates. When renting a home you know you're taking a chance and always hope to get at least 80% of what it looks like on the posting. I can honestly say that this listing is 110% of what you hope to get. The home was immaculate and the attention to detail impressive. The furnishings were beyond clean and everything was very modern and new. Needing a mental break from our jobs in San Francisco my wife and I did a lot of relaxing. It was easy to do with such an amazing view. And if you're a hiker there are plenty of hikes to keep you busy. The location of the house is fantastic if you're looking for something outside of the busy city. You're within 30 min from Turtle Bay, 30 min to Lanikai beach and many other great places. For my wife and I this was perfect. We wanted to cook and read and just chill out but when we wanted more excitement it was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Even getting to Hanauma Bay only took us 45-50 minutes. There aren't a lot of high-end/fancy food options close to the house but there are some very good authentic hawaiian places to eat. Uncle BoBo's BBQ is right across the street and is very very good. And if you want something a little more mainland it's not hard at all to find. Overall if you were offering a vacation rental to someone this is the place you would be proud to offer up. Teresa obviously has a lot of pride in her wonderful getaway and I would recommend it to anyone.

This house offers everything you expect. The kitchen is more than complete with any appliance you desire. Even snorkeling, reef-shoes, small beach-chairs are supplied. The only bad thing to notice is the surrounding: There is no "beach" by the house, no deckchairs on the patio and the neighbor-house and the highway are pretty close. Everything else and Teresa is perfect. Location is ideal for exploring Oahu since the distance to north and south shores are equal.
Owner response:My Honeymoon Villa offers beautiful oceanfront views of the North Shore Coastline and sits on the amazing Reef of Kahana Bay, where locals spear fish, snorkel, kayak, etc. My photos are exactly what you see at different times of the day from both inside the Villa and from the Lanai outside. It offers amazing privacy even though our small group of homes all share this jetty of land. There are in fact many beautiful sandy beaches within a 1 minute drive from my Villa, like Kaaawa Beach Park; Kualoa Beach Park and Ranch; and there is one sandy beach within walking distance from the Villa. There is a very nice full size patio table with 4 chairs on the lanai so I am not sure what these guests meant by " No Deck Chairs". This stretch of land on the Island offers beautiful lush green mountains; warm calm ocean waters and sandy beaches, it is much less developed and has only a two lane highway with maximum speeds of 35 mpr, and has remained true to it natural look; as such you will find most of the coastline offers only about 2 to 3 home buffer from the highway that have ocean-frontage like mine.

This is the most complete home; a "dream" come true!!! Words cannot possibly do it justice. No stones were left uncovered when thinking of the guests. This place has everything plus.. From the dishes, to the linens, from communications, to the design. It is spectacular. Teresa is a wonderful host and greeted us at the cottage when we arrived. She explained everything we could possibly need to know about the house and the area and had a lovely welcome gift for us as well. All the personal touches of this place and the fabulous amenities made it feel like we actually lived there .. if only! We didn't want to leave!!!! You won't be disappointed on any front and will enjoy every minute of your stay. It is more beautiful than the photos. Honeymoon Villa has everything you need to have a great vacation. The only thing we didn’t like was having to leave.

Our experience at Honey Moon Villas was fantastic! The property was clean and even more beautiful than the pictures on the web site. We were lucky enough to see rainbows almost every day. Theresa was an excellent host. We had a medical emergency that Theresa helped us with; she certainly reduced our anxiety. We have already recommended this property to our friends insisting they take us with as their guests. If you like Mexican with a local flair, try Killer Tacos in Hale'iwa. The portions are substantial and the quality is excellent. Further south on the windward side of the island in Kailua is Buzzes: Not as casual as Killer Tacos, no tank tops after 5:00pm. Buzzes has a variety of traditional fare as well as local dishes, all very good. Beware of the Mai Tai's. The limit is three. Just up the road from the villa is Kualoa Ranch. Be sure to take the movie tour around the ranch. Many movies were filmed there including Pearl Harbor and Jurasic Park. You may even see signs of dinosaurs if you look hard enough. We had a very relaxing vacation at Honey Moon Villas and are looking forward to returning to quiet mornings on the lanai with a cup or two of Kona coffee. Mahalo for a wonderful experience!
