  I just returned from a wonderful vacation in Hilton Head. We couldn't be more pleased with our condo at Captain's Walk! The first floor location was perfect - just a few steps down to the beautiful pool and a short walk to the beach. We could see the gorgeous sunrises from our deck. The home was comfortable, stylish, and well stocked with everything we could possibly need for our stay. The owner was very responsive and easy to rent from. We highly recommend this condo and absolutely will return!

  I booked this condo for a family vacation. We really enjoyed our time here. The condo is well appointed with nice finishes just like home. It would be great for a family with small kids because it is on the first floor and easy access to the pool and beach walk ways. We liked it because carrying our beach gear back to the condo was a lot easier than lugging all of it up stairs or in the elevator. The other positive point was that the owner, Craig was very flexible and easy to get in touch with when we were arranging our stay and had some extra questions. I highly recommend Hilton Head Island for a fun, family friendly beach vacation and I highly recommend this condo as your place to stay!

  I just returned from a week's vacation at this beautiful condo with my husband and two small children. I have very high expectations when vacationing regarding cleanliness, comfort and convenience and this property exceeded all my expectations. The condo itself is well-maintained with obvious attention to keeping furnishings and finishes up to date - comfortable beds, updated kitchen/baths, etc. The first floor location was excellent particularly for accesssing the beach and pool with two toddlers. The Captain's Walk complex is also well-maintained with a very convenient baby pool (1 foot deep) and the large pool. Despite July being a very busy time for this area, the beach and pool areas were not overcrowded, and there were always plenty of lounge chairs available at the pool. Landscaping was lush and trimmed regularly while we were there. Parking was plentiful. If you are familar with HHI, you know the beaches are so beautiful and this area was no exception. The sand was soft, transition to the ocean very smooth and the water was so warm and calm. Also, a beach rental company sets up chairs and umbrellas for a rental fee if you should need them. I was concerned about the first floor location and noise, particularly from the pool, but it was not an issue. The pool closes at 10pm in the evening, and one night there were some rowdy teenagers in the pool after 10pm, the security officer quickly asked them to leave so no issues there. The correspondence with the Owner of this property was always timely and professional. Lastly the other people we encountered staying at the Captain's Walk complex were friendly and polite. There were many families, and our kids enjoyed playing with the other children. I would definitely consider this property for my next visit to HHI.

  The Captain's Walk location is perfect for a stay on Hilton Head. It's close to modern conveniences yet tucked away enough to get away from it all. This particular unit is super convenient for pool and beach access--just walk straight out the back door into paradise. The view is super--watch the sunrise and daily pool activities from the deck! Nighttimes are calm and quiet. The pool was cleaned every day. Inside the unit is everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The well-stocked kitchen kept us cooking for most of our meals. The owner made sure we had the necessary information for the unit prior to our arrival. If you've never been to Hilton Head before, rent a bike on the first day and plan to keep it all week. We had more fun riding bikes and walking on the beach than anything else. Thanks to this owner, we had a comfortable place to return.

  My husband and I stayed at Captains Walk from Oct.25 to Nov. 25 .It is the ideal location and the complex is wonderfully maintained The pool is heated and I was able to swim everyday. The villa is absolutely fabulous, it was just recently remodeled and it was done beautifully and with comfort in mind. Little details like the art on the walls were not overlooked either. The kitchen appliances are new and there is not one thing else you will need - it is fully equipped. It is a few steps to the pool and just a little longer to the beach. You have a great view from both the master bedroom and living room, and the sunrises are magnificent. My husband enjoyed watching hockey on the HDTV as well. This is a wonderful unit.

  So convenient to the pool and ocean - made it extremely easy with small kids. We loved it - this may be our "it" place when we go back to HHI. The only thing I would comment on is the glass coffee table in the living room. Dangerous for people with kids and really heavy to move for pullout sofa.

  The owners have thought of everything. Bring your clothes and forget the rest! We have stayed here two years in a row and love it more each time. Literally 5 steps to the pool and a few steps more to the beach...best location. Very nice condo and well maintained.

  Your condo is very nice and well equipped. Being able to walk directly out the door to the pool and beach was most convenient. The keyless entry was a nice touch, too. ( No lock outs or lost keys!) We would definitely stay here again. My only suggestion would be to provide at least two washcloths per person.

  Our first trip to Hilton Head and we loved it! We had great weather and loved the condo. It was very nice and conveniently located by the pool-a must with kids!

  My family really enjoyed this vacation! The unit was immaculate and beautifully updated. The complex very well maintained. If you have children this is perfect because you walk out of the balcony door and you are at the pool or you can watch them from inside. The location on the island is perfect for shopping or restaurants. We visited a local seafood market and purchased fresh seafood to cook out on the grill. Our thanks to Craig. The Deutsch Family.
