Convenient and comfortable "home base" while vacationing Bay Area

We keep coming back to this condo because it serves as a good base for a wide range of activities. From the condo, we can be at Indian Rocks beach, TPA airport, downtown Tampa or St. Pete, Clearwater all in fifteen minutes. We went to Tampa Bay Downs horse races, Hard Rock casino, five golf courses, the Outback Bowl football game, and more. Small, clean pool and whirlpool for residents. Major roads are easily accessible, good taxi service, restaurants and shopping nearby. It's not on the water, but as a comfortable central location, it's hard to beat.

Four of us stayed for a golf week between Christmas and New Year's. Condo is modern, clean, well-furnished, quiet, in a safe area that is convenient to many restaurants and shopping areas. Nice new restaurant/sports bar within walking distance. Major roads are quite convenient. Twenty minutes from TPA airport and less than ten minutes from PIE (St. Pete/Clearwater Airport.) Very comfortable beds! (Taxis readily available for those without a car!)

Recommended for:Girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Stayed in this home for a week during Dec 2009. Modern, tastefully decorated with everything we needed, very convenient to roads, golf courses, restaurants, and shopping. Nice place and we would readily rent it again!
