This is a very CLEAN, cozy, completely cedar, A-frame vacation cabin in a great location - just 22 miles from Jackson, Wyoming, southeast of Victor, Idaho. 8 miles to Driggs Idaho, and ZERO miles to Mountain views! Great feedback from our guests!
RENT FOR a few months, OR FOR YOUR NEXT VACATION! 3 NIGHT MINIMUM generally; we can rent for even one night for "short notice" stays.....
This vacation cabin is surrounded by the Grand Teton Mountain Range, two other mtn ranges, trees, and open space.
It has a completely fenced yard and a perennial flower garden in front of the deck.
The balcony and Phoenix Hot Tub are added bonuses, and are guest favorites. They are well maintained. DSL internet is available with advance notice.
There is one queen-size bed in a private bedroom, plus a high-back, double-size bed and new comfy futon upstairs in the 9'X 25' foot private loft (Our guests have told us this futon is VERY comfortable!).
Also, our bathroom has just had new travertine installed. Clean, fresh, and new!
DSL internet is installed in the home. Short local phone calls ok. Bring your computer. Dish Network satellite.
We offer nice kitchen appliances with everything you'll need to cook a gourmet meal, including some spices.
We are just one mile from celebrity-designed TETON SPRINGS GOLF AND FISHING RESORT. We are located next to a shared cross country ski/pedestrian trail that goes for MILES!
We are within two miles of MANY Targhee National Forest trailheads, creeks, and streams.
From our little cabin, next to the foothills of the Teton Range, you can hike, ride, or get to the most beautiful places on planet Earth.
We are close to Yellowstone (1.5 hours) and Grand Teton National Parks (50 minutes). We see wildlife during every season from this cabin - deer, elk, moose, bald eagles, etc. We have a huge bald eagle living right in our cottonwood trees as of January 2011!! Last night (May 11), we had a herd of 15+ elk and around 20 deer right outside the front door of the cabin.
Two moose lived in our hay field most of the winter. Fox and coyotes were seen traveling across from the cabin. Elk are often above cabin on the hill in the winter.
You can fly in from Jackson or a cheaper route might be Idaho Falls, Idaho (an hour and 20 minute drive away). Salt Lake City is 4 1/2 to 5 hours away and is a pretty drive if you fly in to there.
If you are coming from Colorado, sometimes Alliant air has great specials. Allegiant air has good specials to Idaho Falls coming in also from certain airports.

Dogs or horses MAY occasionally be allowed, depending on situation and breed. Extra pet fee and cleaning charges depending on pet. Normally for a typical dog, it's $85.00 + any extra cleaning the housekeeper must do to pick up little pet hairs/etc.
Clean up outside by you immediately required after your pet does his thing. :)

If you've received permission to bring your dog and he/she loves water, this is a great place to go for some fun.

- Mountain View : Grand Teton Range, Palisades Range, Big Hole Mountain Range all surround this cabin.

- Ski-Out : The country road has been designated a "Shared Use Cross Country Ski Path" by the State of Idaho, and our own County. Ski for miles and miles from the cabin!

- Broadband Internet : Great DSL : Available WITH ADVANCE NOTICE. It's been a very good service provider. We've only had one "down" day in the last several years. We have lots of faith in it, but can't guarantee it will be working...it's out of our control. :) Bring your own computer.

Year Purchased: 1999
Kendall and Janine Jolley have owned their own rentals since 1996. They have 3 great kids, lots of horses, a dog, barn cats, a few goats, and a few chickens.
They love the outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, riding horses, 4-H, music, ,community involvement, and volunteering with their church.
Why the Owner Chose Victor
Perfect spot for vacationers who don't want to stay in crowded Jackson, but want to be close enough to go visit GTNP, Yellowstone, Driggs and Victor area canyons, great skiing, hiking, fishing, etc. etc.
This cabin is very clean and has lots of linens provided. This cabin is exactly what we promise--clean, cute, comfortable. A great base for your Teton vacation! My family has lived in this area since 1910. We know the culture and community. We homesteaded this area back when it was really just the deer and the buffalo roaming. :) Indians lived here in the summers, but the winters were too hard, and they had winter camps they moved to every fall. My family knew personally the some of the famous explorers and Indian characters who lived here. Many of the lakes and mountains around here were named for them or my family and other homesteaders we knew.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
Elk, moose, deer bald eagles, and other assorted wild critters come and go as they please through our land. We love it! The stars are so clearly seen--we love sitting in the hot tub at night enjoying the cool night air and the warm tub gazing at the stars. Seriously!

My family stayed in the cute cabin for 2 1/2 weeks,and we had a marvelous time. We went on family hikes (including dogs) every day we were there. You can't find prettier scenery anywhere. Greak hiking spots directly from cabin, or take a 10-15 minute drive to take local canyon hikes. Also fairly close to Grand Teton and Yellowstone Parks, Bear World, etc. After our hikes, we'd come back, make lunch or supper, and get into the hot tub. Great biking paths and trails all over the place. We took our bikes and got in some good rides most every day, weather permitting. At night we'd go out and sit in the front yard and admire the many stars, drink hot chocolate, and just relax. Kids loved sleeping up in the loft, beds were very comfy. I'd recommend this to families with kids that enjoy the outdoors. Owners are very helpful and friendly, and the kids loved being able to go pet the horses, goats and chickens every day. We would highly recommend this vacation to other families that enjoy the outdoors, and love getting out in beautiful country to enjoy the fresh air. Can't wait to go back to Teton Valley!

I had the opportunity to stay in this cabin for some time with my toddler son. He loved it and the loft area is a great play area. The yard is gorgeous and perfect for children to play in. The cabin is very clean and beautiful. Most of all is that it is very peaceful. It is located in the perfect location--with lots to do all around. I especially enjoyed using the grill in the yard at the end of a day. The evenings are beautiful in this location and if you have children, it's a perfect yard for them to play in while you grill. Top that off with a soak in the beautiful hot tub and it's paradise under the stars. My son was very happy here. He loved being in the cabin. Never has our little family been so happy. Most of all, Janine and her family are great hosts and neighbors. Never will you rent from nicer, more sincere or more caring people. I have very fond memories of this cabin. They are probably the most fond memories of my life. -Camille and Kai

This cabin is in a great location to take advantage of some excellent skiing! You are not far from Jackson Hole and Targhee ski resorts and the opportunities for backcountry skiing are endless! The home was very comfortable and clean. The hot tub hits the spot after a day of skiing. The location is very quiet and the views are great. We only wished we could stay longer. Thanks Janine!

This is a very clean, well furnished cabin. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen (we usually cook in), and the grounds are rustic and open. You get good mountain views from your living room. The drive to Jackson is about 30 minutes, and there are many trails on the west side of the Tetons, near the cabin. We had 3 people in our group and we were quite comfortable. You are 3 minutes from the Grand Teton brewery in Victor, which brews great beer.

I wanted you to know how much we appreciated having a fenced yard for Sprocket, and how much we enjoyed the hot tub! The views at the A-frame are wonderful, and the dark night sky was such a treat! It was our first trip to the Idaho side of the Tetons, but it sure won’t be our last…we fell in love with your little valley and plan to visit again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Teton Cabin in June. The cabin was cute and was exactly how it was pictured at VRBO. The beds were extremely comfortable. And the cabin was in a really quiet location, which was very important to us. I'd recommend it to everyone!

This was a perfect place for my writing retreat. Quiet, peaceful, scenic, no matter which way I looked. The cabin is very comfortable, with great linens, dishes, etc. I savored watching a late night thunderstorm from the wonderful antique bed upstairs. Loved the hot tub too! The cabin is so close to lots of exciting spots, including wilderness hiking just up the road. And Victor's gourmet grocery is superb. Owner is wonderful to work with. I'll stay again!

What a perfect location for our honeymoon!! We spent 4 wonderful nights here, journeying into Jackson when we felt like it, and curled up with a good book when we didn't! I would highly recommend this to someone that likes to explore small towns, yet wants the proximity of somewhere a little more cosmopolitan. It was perfect for us!! Thanks again!
