This is a very clean, cozy, completely cedar, A-frame vacation cabin in a great location - just 22 miles from Jackson, Wyoming, southeast of Victor, Idaho. 8 miles to Driggs Idaho, and ZERO miles to Mountain views!
This vacation cabin is surrounded by the Grand Teton Mountain Range, two other mtn ranges, trees, and open space. It has a completely fenced yard and a perennial flower garden in front of the deck. The balcony and new Phoenix Hot Tub are added bonuses, and are guest favorites.
There is one queen-size bed in a private bedroom, plus a high-back, double-size bed and new comfy futon upstairs in the 9'X 25' foot private loft (Our guests have told us this futon is VERY comfortable!).
If it makes the difference if you rent from us, we can perhaps replace the double bed with another queen bed as well. Let us know if this makes the difference for you.
Also, our bathroom has just had new travertine installed. Clean, fresh, and new!
We offer nice kitchen appliances with everything you'll need to cook a gourmet meal, including spices.
We are just one mile from celebrity-designed TETON SPRINGS GOLF AND FISHING RESORT. We are located next to a shared cross country ski/pedestrian trail that goes for MILES!
We are within two miles of MANY Targhee National Forest trailheads, creeks, and streams.
From our little cabin, next to the foothills of the Teton Range, you can hike, ride, or get to the most beautiful places on planet Earth.
We are close to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. We see wildlife during every season from this cabin - deer, elk, moose, bald eagles, etc. We have a nesting pair of bald eagles right across the road with chicks in Spring 2009!!
Two moose lived in our hay field most of the winter. 15-50 mule deer snuck in every night to pilfer food from our horses. Fox and coyotes were seen traveling across from the cabin.
You can fly in from Jackson or a cheaper route might be Idaho Falls, Idaho (an hour and 20 minute drive away). Salt Lake City is 4 1/2 to 5 hours away and is a pretty drive if you fly in to there.

Dogs or horses MAY be allowed, depending on situation and breed. Extra pet fee and cleaning charges depending on pet. Normally for a week, it's $85.00 + any extra cleaning the housekeeper must do to pick up little pet hairs/etc.
Clean up outside by you immediately required after your pet does his thing. :)

- Linens Provided: We have plenty of fresh clean linens in this home. Our housekeeper is meticulous and we've never had any complaints about the home. We give you plenty of fresh towels, washcloths, kitchen and hand towels.

- Waterfront, not Lake/Oceanfront. Ask for details: A large landscaped pond is across the road. You can get permission to swim in this pond and play at the VERY nice beach. Our kids love this! If you've received permission to bring your dog and he/she loves water, this is a great place to go for some fun.

- Mountain View: Grand Teton Range, Palisades Range, Big Hole Mountain Range all surround this cabin.

- Ski-Out: The country road has been designated a "Shared Use Cross Country Ski Path" by the State of Idaho, and our own County. Ski for miles and miles from the cabin!

- Telephone: With 2 WEEK ADVANCE notice and an extra set-up charge. Otherwise, please use your cell.
- Computer w/ Dial-up Internet: POSSIBLE WITH ADVANCE NOTICE AND AN EXTRA SMALL CHARGE--JUST WHATEVER THE PHONE COMPANY CHARGES US! But really, most people just hop down to the local library or internet cafe to use theirs. The whole point of vacation is to get away from all that--right?

Off-Season Rates start at $119/night.
Cleaning fee of $50. Pet fee (occasionally allowed) $85.00 + any other damages.
Payment Policy: Half Payment including refundable security deposit, Idaho taxes,
and rental amount due upon reservation. With CARDS--1/2 payment upon reservation.
Second Half DUE two weeks prior to your stay. Cancellations on a case-by-case
basis for emergencies will receive $ back, minus a rebooking and processing fee.
No Refunds on the Day Prior To, or Arrival Date. :)

Kendall and Janine Jolley have owned their own rentals since 1996. They have 3 great kids, lots of horses, bunnies, a small dog, barn cats, and even a few chickens.
They love the outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, riding horses, 4-H, classical music, politics and community involvement, and volunteering with their church.

Perfect spot for vacationers who don't want to stay in crowded Jackson, but want to be close enough to go visit GTNP, Yellowstone, Driggs and Victor area canyons, hiking, fishing, etc. etc.
The Unique Benefits of this A-Frame Cedar Cabin Rental
Last night (May 10th), there were 15 deer grazing in the pasture right in front of the cabin....Elk, moose, bald eagles, etc....come and go as they please through our land. We love it! The stars are so clearly seen--we love sitting in the hot tub at night enjoying the cool night air and the warm tub gazing at the stars. Seriously!
