We were so happy with this rental! Kelly had everything we needed. Blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap, sunscreen, beach towels, cooler, beach & pool toys, movies, toys for the kids, etc. The house was very clean and lots of breathing room for 6 adults & 5 kids. We loved the pool and were glad that we paid to have it heated. The kitchen was fully stocked with great appliances. All in all we were very pleased with the house and would definitely stay there again. Thank you Kelly for being so great to work with and willing to help/answer questions.

First time we have every rented through VRBO and it was a great experience. We loved this home, It was so nice, it was hard to leave it even to go to Disneyland! We enjoyed the pool even in the cold weather. The house was very clean and had everything you could ever need. And Kelly was a delight to work with. She made our experience so great. We hope we can come back and just hang out longer in the house and enjoy the pool. Thank you again Kelly.

Perfect base for Disneyland

Thank you Kelly for a fantastic 12 days in southern California. We had 4 adults and 3 kids aged 6, 6 and 3 - the house is the perfect size for our group and could have held a couple more comfortably. Only a 10 minute drive to the parking lots of Disneyland, close to all the major roads to get you to the beach or south to Lego Land and Sand Diego. It's a 45 minute drive from LAX, 10 minutes to great shopping, 5 minutes to grocery store and several great restaurants. The pool is huge and well heated, we used it every day and the kids loved it. The beds were luxurious, TV room very comfortable and backyard nicely maintained. Kelly was prompt with email replies to all my questions. While we were down there her husband came to set up a crib for us within the hour of us calling - great service. I would highly recommend this rental and will certainly be contacting Kelly again when we are in southern cali.

This was the BEST rental house ever! It was stocked with everything you could ever imagine or think of. Kelly obviously is a pro when it comes to renting property because she has thought through everything! She had all the necessities and much more. I was WAY impressed!!! I will defiantly be referring this property to all of my friends and we look forward to coming back. It was the first place I have stayed at where I did not miss my own house or my own bed. LOVED it!!!!!!

Garden Grove Island Oasis Pool Home

This Vacation Rental was lovely and everything we hoped it would be. It was extremely clean upon our arrival and we have very high expectations when it comes to clean. It is a lovely, very spacious home. The sleeping accommodations are more than adequate. The kitchen is updated and well equipped if you want to cook, we didn't have time but was great for breakfast. It was really handy to have on site laundry plus all the added features; stroller, high chair, crib, toys . The yard is wonderful and impeccably groomed, the pool is nice and the view from the great room/living room is picturesque. The home is in a nice area, we felt very safe and the neighborhood is really quiet. The location is within minutes and easy to find. There are many nice restaurants in the area. It was so nice to watch the fireworks from Disneyland every evening from the front porch. We definitely hope to stay here again, when in the area.

Great owner and beautiful house

This house was beyond what we have expected. If you have a family with young kids, this house has a closet full of toys and a bunk bed with a twin size bed in one room. My daughter was in heaven! We asked for a crib to be set up ahead of time, and I had a portable crib all ready for my baby. Also, the owner, Kelly, is there for you every step of the way. She replies back to you right away with any questions you may have. I've gotta say..Kelly made my stay at this house even better! Couldn't have been more satisfied!!

We just got back from a very short vacation... The place was amazing!! You feel at home almost instantly. There were 10 of us, 2 adults and 8 teenagers between 13-18... We were all very comfortable and we all absolutely loved the place. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfy...I had a good night's rest every night. (I'm now considering buying a new bed for my own house!) Kelly was so easy to work with...always available and she's provided everything you would ever need (really!). The place is a very close drive to Disneyland, grocery, Starbucks (less than 5 minutes)... We would LOVE to go back there...hopefully when it's warmer so we can use the giant pool. Check it out for yourself!! You won't regret it!!!

Wonderful Family Home

I booked Kelly’s home for the last week of November 2011 for a big family vacation: me and my family (including our 3 year old and 6 month old), my sister and her family (including their 8 and 4 year old), and our parents. It was so nice to find a home that we could enjoy together. The children had a lot of fun being together in such wonderful, big space: this is a ranch style bungalow home with a wonderful yard and very kid-friendly set up. Kelly had everything we needed to feel at home for the week: fully equipped kitchen for cooking; clean and well working appliances; laundry; a very clean home; and most importantly - clean and functional toys for the children! The parents and grandparents also had a wonderful time, feeling safe and comfortable with the children playing freely ‘at home’. We were even able to invite our local relatives over for dinner one night and enjoy even more family time. Kelly was a wonderful person to work with. She was very prompt in responding to our hundreds of questions as our holiday got closer. She was also very professional in managing the administrative aspects of renting her home – good paper trail; very clear rental agreement; and very good at keeping the communication open. We also wanted to experience “Black Friday” shopping while we were there and Kelly gave us some wise advice, along with some advertisements and shopping/store maps she collected for us! We also visited Disneyland while we were in Orange County – which literally was minutes away. This made it very easy and convenient for us, having little children and making very short drives home after long days at the park. The home was situated in a very quiet and nice neighborhood, and it was very easy to find grocery stores, other stores, and the freeways to get around. We would definitely stay at Kelly’s home again. The children have a lot of fun memories staying there (including picking oranges in the backyard for their snack every day!). We also had fun waiting for and watching a hummingbird that came every morning at the same flower while we ate breakfast. We recommend Kelly’s home to any family who is looking for a clean, safe, family-friendly place to stay while vacationing in the Orange County area! Thanks Kelly for a great stay! Kelly - Thank you for sharing your wonderful property with my family. The home was excellent! Very spacious, yet many ways to divide up privately for larger groups. The home itself is a beautiful blend of California character with modern touches in the right places. My 2 yr old son loved the play room stocked with toys. My parents enjoyed the back yard and patio area on the perfect evenings. The pool table and games led to spirited family competition. Great neighboorhood, very close to Disneyland, and a short drive to many other destinations including beaches. Kelly was excellent to work with. Very understanding and accommodative of our vacation needs. She was very accessable and quick to respond to our questions. Rent with confidence!

This home is everything it claims to be and more. Kelly has done a wonderful job on the interior and the services she provides. My family of 2 adults and 4 teenagers, were all impressed with the home, pool, yard and the proximity to all the local attractions. Kelly operates the home as a hotel with all the necessities required so I didn't have to pack a bunch of extra toiletries, etc. All the information she left for us made the stay that more pleasurable and I can definitely say should we return to the area, I will be looking to book one of Kelly's homes before considering any others. Awesome vacation home!

This house is one of kind! When I first looked at the pictures online, it looks like an older home so I didn't expect much. However, as soon as I walked inside the house for the first time, I was blown away by how big, beautiful, and open it is. There are beautiful windows are around the house so it is very open no matter what room you're in, you will have a view. The house is so updated, clean and very cozy. Our group has a total of 10 people visiting here from Australia and everyone was just so shocked at how beautiful it is and how organized and ready everything is. Kelly, the owner, is the best of the best. She has thought of everything. The welcome letter will tell you how everything works and where everything is and the binder included all the direction to everywhere!!! Everything is ready to use, the bed, the kitchen, big flash screen TV, games for the kids, strollers for baby, ...you really don't need to bring anything from home. We all feel right at home! It is like we're in a luxury hotel with our own private pool . And the pool is HUGE! the backyard is also beautiful and relaxing with all the lounge chairs around the pool, it is a perfect place to relax after a long day at Disneyland. We wish we had more time to relax at the house instead of running around all the amusement park. We will definitely come back here more often! Oh the best part, is that we could watch the firework right in front of the lawn!!! Can't wait until next time. Thank you for everything Kelly and thanks for being flexible. I can't say enough good things about this Island Oasis. Kelly was a joy to deal with and the house was fully equipped with everything you could ever need. There were 4 adults and 2 kids on our trip and it the house made it so wonderful. Nothing like coming home to a nice dip in the pool after a long day a Disney. My family and I stayed at this beautiful home during our vacation to Disneyland. It was a beautiful, clean, up-to-date home in a clean quiet neighborhood. My family said it was the most relaxing vacation ever. The owner was so gracious in leaving us an extra air mattress and were available instantly when I needed their service. I would highly recommend this beautiful home My family is going to make this an annual vacation home. We cooked our meals, did our laundry. So much money saved. Kelly the owner thought of everything. It truly is like walking out of your home and into our home again. It was amazing to me how much she provides for everyone to enjoy vacation and save money at the same time. The pool is hugh and clean! We had a blast. We even had a barbecue one night since there is a nice setup to barbecue. landscaping is beautiful. The kitchen with the beautiful granite counters was my favorvite. Lots of counter space. Lots of eating area. inside and out. My family is still talking about that vacation. We wish it was already June so we can enjoy that beautiful home again. We spent more time at the house than we did at the park. Next time we are not getting the 3 day hopper. to Disneyland. It was a waste since everyone wanted to hang out at the house. The kids played pool in the pool room, swam, played games she provides., etc. etc. I highly recommend this home.

This house is FABULOUS!!! It had plenty of room for our 5 kids and my parents. My kids would rather stay at the house than the local amusement parks. The house was exactly as it was described. The best part was all the extras that were in the house. There was a double stroller that was perfect for our 2 and 3 yr old. That was perfect to take to the parks. The pool was HUGE! I would recommend heating it, even in the summer. Its so big and the weather is a little cooler than what we are acclimated to. Kelly is an Awesome home owner. She was very easy to get in touch with and she answered all of our questions promply. One of the bonus items that helped out a lot was the binder of all the directions, coupons, and recommendations. I would HIGHLY recommend renting this property. We will definitely rent this house again when we come to So. Cal.

Our family decided on going to Disney two years ago. Are we ever glad that we booked this house to stay in. The house is massive and well stocked with everything you could ask for. The pool was a life saver! It gave us the opportunity to go to Disney in the morning, come back at noon, enjoy a swim have lunch and rest up for the evening trip back to Disney. The kitchen and barbeque allow you to cook any type of meal you want. We cooked ribs, chops, burgers, chicken, pasta and had a healthy breakfast every day. What more could you ask for! There were ten of us from 1 year old to 53 and everyone had a great time. The location is excellent, a short drive to Disney, Angel Stadium, shopping, Costco etc. Kelly has a book with all kinds of ideas and suggestions on shopping, site seeing, beaches, restaurants etc. that is a perfect reference. When we go next time, we will definately book this "home away from home". Thankyou very much for allowing us to stay at your place Kelly!

We were awed from the moment we pulled into the driveway. Everything you could ask for was available and the area had excellent shopping, grocery stores, resturants and walking areas. Both our families were able to relax while taking in the awesome attractions in the area. The property offered loads of room and the pool with all the accessories was perfect for 4 teenagers. Nothing like a BBQ to end the day while sitting around the heated/lighted pool. We would for sure recommend the property to anyone looking for closeness to disneyland attractions and of course the fireworks at disneyland could be seen from the front yard, every night at 9:25pm as promised. The house was well stocked with everything you could ask for. The owner was awesome with directions and supplying answers to any and all questions we had. Looking forward to seeing the area again and well for sure contact Kelly.

This house was perfect and had everything you could possibly want or need in a home away from home!! It was clean and well taken care of. It was also stocked with anything you could possibly need, from toiletries and detergent to zipoc baggies. Our kids absolutely loved the kids room and the pool! The house is also located really close to the parks as promised. There are also many restaurants, department and grocery stores close by which we found very handy since we aren’t too familiar with the area. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone who was looking for a place to stay on their trip to Disneyland! Kelly was quick to answer any questions we had and was very pleasant to deal with!! My review has disappeared, so I am sending it again. The rental property was perfect for us and the pictures available refelected accurately the appearance and amenities that we saw upon arrival. The property was extremely clean, perfectly maintained, and decorated. We felt that we were in a high-end rental resort. The owner was in communication with us two months prior to the visit. Once we departed New Mexico, the owner was available on the phone and on e-mail prior, during and after our visit. We had numerous questions on the area, property, and enterainment and the owner was always there with clear and sensible answers and suggestions. We were even sent detailed MAPQUEST directions for driving from home to the property in California. We certainly recommend the property to our friends and family. We held a small pool/BBQ party for friends that leave in the Los Angeles area. A couple was so impressed with the property that they have commiteed to contact the owner next year to rent the property for a visit of a large family group coming fromTexas. The owner went beyond the normal "concierge" duties to make us feel at home and in providing one of the best customer service we have had in our vacations. The house comes with a well researched and written instructions book on the amenities in the house, their operations, directions to key visiting locations in the Southern California area, and how to take advantage of these visits economicaly, shopping support stores nearby, and suggestions as to when the gardner and poolman would come, enticing one to feel as being in your own home. We stayed for 8 days and we visited Disneyland Parks , San Diego Zoo, Legoland, President Reagan Library, The Getty Center Museum, and Newport Beach. We had the best seafood at the "Rusty Pelican" at Newport Beach CA. This is our second visit to the area in ten yeas. First time we stayed at a very expensive hotel nearby. This time, we had more vacation amenities, more economical lodging, cheaper eating costs, and a more intimate extended family vacation. We plan to request this rental again in five years when we take our third vaction to Southern California. One of my daughters wanted to prepare stroganoff for dinner one evening and needed a special condiment. We opened one of the pantry doors and the owner had it stocked with condiments. Wonderfully appointed property, convenient to Disneyland

Wow- what a wonderful home. I highly recommend, and I am quite picky and not easily impressed. My family of 4 and one set of grandparents just rented this home for our trip to Disneyland. The rooms were beautifully decorated. Also, the whole house was super clean. The kitchen was stocked with spices and condiments, ziploc bags, bottled water, paper towels, and even tupperware for leftovers when we chose to cook. The bathrooms were outfitted with plenty of towels and toiletries. Kelly has really thought of everything. We really felt like we were in a home away from home, not in a bare bones rental. Even the kids' room was well stocked with toys! Everyone enjoyed the pool table. The home had a really great layout, with all the bedrooms in a separate wing so young nappers could sleep without being disturbed by the rest of us watching TV or playing pool. We would love to rent this property again! Location was a quick 5 min drive to Disneyland. I am pretty picky and not easily impressed.

We have vacationed in two different "Kelly" houses, and both were so immaculate, well appointed, and made for a terrific experience. Everything you need is right there, right down to grocery store discount cards and directions to any restaurant or attraction you could imagine. We were going to Disney(imagine that!) and it was so helpful to have directions right in the book when you walk in the door, made our vacation even more stress free. Kelly's Island Oasis was the perfect location for our Thanksgiving weekend! Our family gathered to kick off the holiday season with Disney. This is our first experience with VRBO and won't be our last. We were so fortunate to be able to have meals together in a home setting rather than staying in multiple rooms at a hotel and eating out in restaurants. The condition and cleanliness of Kelly's home was amazing! She was so thoughtful with her extra amenities and personal touch throughout the house. The youngest children in our group (6 and 9) LOVED the "kids room" and age appropriate toys. The location was perfect and the neighborhood felt very safe and secure. Kelly thank you so much for sharing your beautiful property!! We will be working with again!

And the biggest bonus was the excersaucer for my 4 month old. We had the pool heated, but we still found it cold... but we are from the tropics and like our pool soup warm. I only have wonderful things to say about the home and the owner, Kelly, who has just put so much attention to detail... Soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, you name it and it's there! I found the attention to detail the difference between a vrbo.com home and Kelly's home.. she goes the extra mile. There is also a fantastic booklet, where to go, what to do, where to eat, etc... We arrived August 1st and spent 21 days in this vacation home. We really enjoyed the time staying there. The house wonderful decorated and at the same time modern and homelike. We were very happy about the huge pool and had a lot of fun. Kelly, the owner of the house was helping us whenever we wanted to visit some attractions. The house was really clean and tidy. The kitchen is great appareled with a gas stove and everything you need. The house is a perfect place for families with children or teenagers. There are a lot of toys, a PlayStation and a beautiful children room. Also Disneyland is only a few minutes away. Every evening we could watch the Disney firework. Kelly is a very kind, uncomplicated and fast person. If we wrote her an e-mail she answered in minutes. Thank You Kelly! This is the best vacation home we have ever been to. Wir sind am 1. August angekommen und haben 3 Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Die Zeit hier war wirklich großartig. An unserem Ferienhaus gefiel uns besonders, dass es sehr geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet war man sich aber gleichzeitig zu Hause gefühlt hat. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns über den riesigen Pool, an dem wir viel Spaß hatten. Kelly, die Vermieterin hat uns jedes Mal hilfreich und schnell geholfen wenn wir einen Ausflug machen wollten. Das Haus war sehr aufgeräumt und sauber. Außerdem gab es eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche mit Gasherd und allem Möglichen was man braucht. Das Haus ist sehr gut für Familien mit Kindern und Jugendlichen geeignet. Es gibt sehr viel Spielzeug, eine Playstation und ein sehr schönes Kinderzimmer. Außerdem ist Disneyland nur wenige Minuten entfernt, so dass man jeden Abend das Disneyfeuerwerk genießen konnte. Kelly ist sehr nett, unkompliziert und schnell. E-Mails wurden innerhalb weniger Minuten beantwortet. Danke dafür! Das ist das beste Ferienhaus in dem wir bis jetzt waren.

A Wonderful Time for the Whole Family

My Granddaughter was in a dance competition at Disneyland so the whole family drove down there (2 Uncles, Aunt, Mom, Grandpa, Baby Brother, 8 people in all). The house was beautiful, comfortable and and Kelly stocked most everything we would need. What a pleasant surprise to find even razors & shampoo, which we did forget!! I rent vacation homes most every year and this had to be one of the best we have stayed in. We all settled in comfortably and the pool was a very BIG hit with all. I am glad a paid the extra to have it heated, it was unseasonably cool for SoCal this time of year.The 2 and 7-year old were amazed with all the toys in the bunk room closet, kept them entertained all week. It only took us 7 minutes to drive to Disneyland each day and the house is on a beautiful cull de sac and very nice neighborhood. Thank you Kelly for a great vacation. And I will be booking this one again as soon as we find out the competition dates for next year!! Don't let the online photos fool you--the house and yard are even bigger and more beautiful than the pictures can show! This was, by far, the most comfortable home we've stayed in using VRBO. All the comforts of home and very elegantly decorated. Everything is incredibly clean and organized. Kelly is the best at anticipating and accommodating your needs. The neighborhood is quiet and safe in a quaint area but still within a few minutes from everything--Disneyland, shopping, restaurants. The pool is beyond perfect--it is a VERY VERY big pool. Big enough for plenty of floating toys and lounges (all included with the house). And there's still lots of yard to BBQ and plenty of tables/chairs for a relaxing outdoor dinner by the pool. The Disneyland fireworks were amazing...you can see them from the front door! The pool table was a fun way to spend an evening with our sons. Our entire stay, we felt pampered with all the little touches, and it was so nice to have a place to spread out and relax...much better then staying at a hotel, especially with the variety of ages. The owner, Kelly, has really gone to great lengths to make this feel like a home away from home. Even a costume trunk for the kids! Such a nice get-away from the convention center and Disneyland, but close to all of it!

It was class throughout. The house was clean and obviously well managed. The home is perfect for teenagers and small children alike. We had two teenagers, three tweens (9 yr old and 8 yr old twins), one toddler, a baby and three adults. EVERYONE was happy with the home which is no easy feat. Kelly is incredibly thoughtful in the organization of the home. We were able to spread out and avoid one another or share space comfortably as wanted. Speaking of comfort, the bedrooms were very stylish and comfortable. The landscaping surrounding the house matches the home very well. The neighborhood is nice and quiet; completely residential. Kelly is incredibly attentive to detail. We arrived well before check-in time and Kelly was so gracious in her flexibility in letting us check in upon arrival. Her excellent customer service is an added bonus. But I didn't feel like a customer, I felt like a guest in the home. And the pool, ooh la, the pool was magical after endless lines at Disneyland. Yes, you really will be able to see fireworks from the front porch. I've stayed at many vacation rentals, but this is the first time I've ever bothered to write a review. Kudos Kelly and thank you for such an excellent stay. Not only do I want to return to this property, I'm hoping that Kelly has properties in other Southern California hotspots. "

Thank you Kelly for the use of your home in February 2010. This is a great location and home for families visiting Disneyland and the surrounding area. The house was very spacious, clean, well stocked and the kids loved the toys in their room. We would definitely stay again when in the area and would recommend this to a family or two families sharing.

Best Vacation Home Ever!! BMSFam Tucson Date of Stay: February 2010 Prior to having our children, my husband and I traveled extensively and we stayed only in 4 star or above resorts. Once we had our children, we now try to stay in vacation rentals- it's just so much more comfortable with the kids when we all have our own space. However, I am very picky and tend to set my standards high. We have stayed in about 7 vacation rentals across the country with our children and I will say emphatically- this house was our favorite! We stayed a full week and we could not have felt more comfortable and at home. It was a wonderful vacation. The house is beautiful- clean and comfortable and decorated tastefully. The beds were so comfortable and the bedding, linens and towels were abundant as well as first class. We have stayed in many rentals where the decor looks nice in the pictures, but once there you can tell costs were cut furnishing and stocking the home. Not here- everything is truly as wonderful as the pictures show. In addition, the house is so nicely stocked- which is often unusual for rentals. There are condiments, coffee filters, soap, shampoo, body wash, ziplocs, laundry detergent, lots of extra toilet paper- even travel toothpaste and a grocery store discount card. The house is truly fully stocked and easy to find everything. One day we were looking for a screw driver, we opened a drawer we thought it might be in and - voila, a screw driver. It's the thoughtful details that set this rental apart and make it first class. The kids LOVED the house. Kelly set up a beautiful crib for the baby. The kids room had so many wonderful toys that my 4 year old never once said he was bored. In fact, there were days I had to convince him to leave and go to Disneyland. There are a lot of doors through out the house that let you close off certain areas, which was wonderful with the kids for naps and early bedtimes. The backyard is beautiful for hanging out, the kitchen even had kids plates and cups. I really can't say enough how truly comfortable and convenient the house was. And, like everyone else said- Kelly is wonderful to deal with. She responds quickly, covers all concerns and is so accommodating to every request. We have never experienced this level of service with a home owner and their vacation rental. Some don't respond for days, others are short and irritable. Kelly was wonderful! My family stayed at this home for 5 nights for a family vacation plus celebrating my younger son's birthday at Disney. Our vacation was great and the house was a big part of that - simply amazing. Both my kids said this was the best vacation ever - they didn't want to leave the house. The small details and the high-touch "virtual" service was just great. The pictures do not do this home justice. Very spacious and open, nice furnishings and upgrades. Every painstaking detail to making the home a comfortable place to stay for guests has been thought through and is offered...it's a turnkey vacation home. Forget just the basic eating supplies and towels. The house has wifi, pool table, pool toys/accessories, video games, TVs in each room....even condiments!!!Location is primo if you are going to Disney and the nearby theme parks. It's in a nice residential neightborhood but very close to malls, grocery, gas, etc. Kelly provides amazing service and you literally don't have to worry about a thing. The only thing you will have to worry about is making your kids leave this house...that room is heaven whether you have boys/girls ....any age!
