Affordable Quality : this 1 bedroom apt is exceptionally large. It may sleep 5 guests comfortably for 1 or 2 weeks. It is located on the 2nd floor (US standard) of a high quality stone building with elevator.
The apt is calm. It is nicely decorated. The owner is a professor. She has lived for more than 20 years in Birmania. Its decoration reminds delicately some of her Birmanian experience. She now lives more than 6 month away from home and rents her apartment short term.
•The living room offers a large leather convertible sofa and an ancient wooden table that sits 4 to 6. Decoration is exquisite. There are antic lights. The 2 windows of the living room open on 2 small balconies. The light enters fully and makes the area very bright.
•The room next to the living room is widely open through a double door. A large curtain may close it. It can be used as a bedroom or an office. It offers a large book shelve and a traditional oak farm table. A convertible modern armchair may sleep comfortably an adult.
•The bedroom is calm. It offers a double bed and a large traditional wooden closet. It also has a view over the building private courtyard where one can have lunch on sunny days.
•The kitchen, fully equipped, is an original part of the apt. It is colorful and well equipped.
As a bonus, Phone calls to land lines in France, and to US, Canada and Australia are generally free. It is also true for more than 50 countries. More over, calls to cell phones towards specific countries (often US & Canada) may also be free. Ask us for detail as it may vary with time and policies of operators.
The apt is located in Montmartre: Les Abbesses, the trendy part of Montmartre is just down the street: many restaurants, shops and nice café terraces. The “Sacre Coeur” and its gardens are close. The BLANCHE subway station is 3 min walk.
This location is a perfect base to visit Paris. It stays 15 minute by subway to most interesting Paris locations AND is a very charming and restful area to be appreciated after a whole day shopping and walking through museums.

Hi Jean-Noël, I just want to make sure that you know how much we enjoyed the apartment we rented in Montmartre. The stay here was very comfortable and everything worked as described. Elevator was a real plus, rare in Montmartre. Thanks for all the detailed instructions that came with the apartment. The neighborhood was just lovely, and very close walking to cafes, shops, etc. The metro was also a short walk and offered quick travel to anywhere in the city. All linens were spotless and the beds were very comfortable. We considered ourselves very fortunate to find such a large, and unique, apartment for such a great price! We definitely recommend this apartment and will rent it again. David
Owner response:Hi david, Thank you so much for your feedback. Actually this apt is used part of the year as owner residence. It explains why it is comfortable and everything works fine. It is not just a rental apt, half empty. Also I believe it is a good quality ratio price, on the cheap side for 5 guests.
