  A beautiful, quiet, cozy, beach house, I like the garden, the bedrooms are separate from the rest of the areas, so you can hang out or party and not bother anyone who wants to sleep. Big kitchen and dining/living room, the sleeping porch is great with all the hammocks and the view to the mountains... you can hear the waves breaking. El palmarcito and la leona both have great waves, swimming and snorkeling during summer. El sunzal, el zonte, punta roca are just minutes away. Great place to stay!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  Lo primero que note al llegar es la vegetaciòn que rodea el rancho, en su mayoria àrboles frutales. Hamacas dentro y fuera de la casa para descansar a la sombra lejos de cualquier ruido que recuerde la ciudad. La piscina con mantenimiento al dìa y una hermosa vista directa al oceano, hasta la delgada linea que separa el cielo del mar. Las aves tropicales anuncian el comienzo del dìa y se mezclan con el sonido del constante oleaje que llega hipnotizante hasta la colina donde està situado el rancho. Los caminos a veces pavimentados a veces adoquinados son perfectos para practicar skating o ciclismo de montaña, o simplemente para una agradable caminata en medio de la vegetaciòn. Tiene acceso a dos playas "La Leona" y "El Palmarcito" con olas izquierdas y derechas practicamente durante todo el año. En El Palmarcito los lugareños tienen "ramadas" donde ofrecen delicios platillos de comida local con frutos del mar que los baña y un lugar para descansar y protegerse del castigo del sol de medio dìa, para reponer energìas y estar listos para la seciòn de la tarde. Ahi conocì a las personas màs honestas, sencillas y amables de mi paìs con quienes ahora me unen estrechos lazos de amistad. Por la noche, de regreso en el rancho, nada màs relajante que un baño en la piscina aùn tibia, por el calor solar recibido, ideal para recordar junto a familiares y amigos las experiencias vividas durante el dìa. A la hora de dormir, si tienen suerte, los arrullara una agradable lluvia tropical...

  Surrounded by nature, sheltered by mountains and sounds of birds, with the beach nearby, is the best description of paradise

  We had a great time. We felt at home. Spent lots of time on the hammocks just hanging out and relaxing watching movies. We cooked our own food even though Maria would have cooked for us. Maria and Victor the care takers were very friendly and took care of us. The beach is very beautiful and there are some great scenic areas close by to take awesome pictures. I can't wait to go back to La Libertad.
