One of the most peaceful, lovely, and affordable rentals for large families, gatherings of friends for a holiday, company retreats, and wedding parties along the Mendocino coast. You can rent the whole place or just part of it.
Our facility has eleven mostly redwood bedrooms, each with a king or queen bed, TV with DVD player, deck, and full-size or half-size fridge, and private bathroom. Most rooms have a wood or electric fireplace, and some have kitchens. We are located just 4 minutes south of the village of Mendocino on 5 bucolic, acres of meadow and woods for kids and dogs to run and play in (croquet, badminton, too).
Specifics on bedrooms:
- 6 rooms with king beds
- 4 rooms with queen beds
- 1 room with one queen and one single bed
- 1 living room with pull-out couch
- 1-2 additional pull out couches and rollaways can be put in some rooms
We also have meeting space for your group - a large living room that will comfortably accommodate a group of about 12. You can also use our lodge for meetings of up to about 8. Plus, many rooms have small sitting areas for about 4 people for playing games, watching TV, reading by the fire.
Your pets are also welcome in most rooms (we do keep some rooms pet-free for people with allergies). We won "Beast of the Bay" for our unmatched pet amenities, like treats, space to play, special bedding.
Our hot tub in the forest is nothing less than magical. We are close to everything - hiking, private coves, gorgeous beaches, kayaking, fishing, whale watching, breweries, historical monuments, the awesome Skunk Train, wine tasting - but our property is peaceful and private.
