Casa Mariluna, is a beautiful three bedroom villa situated just above the beach on the quiet north end of lovely Sayulita Bay. The house was architect designed in the classic Mexican Colonial style with an artistic touch. Mariluna is a spacious, elegant but comfortable home with all the modern conveniences. It has exceptional beach, mountain and ocean view. Sunsets can be spectacular from this side of the bay. It is an easy minute walk down the cobbled driveway, to the palm lined beach just below.
Casa Mariluna has fantastic views of the ocean and Sayulita Bay from all rooms. The home features a large pool which lies partly within the house, overlooking the ocean and gardens below. Casa Mariluna accommodates six adults comfortably, (one bedroom can be converted into two twins). Given the design, children under 12 not allowed.
Car rentals, taxi service, ATV's and golf carts are all available to rent in town.
It is about a 15 minute leisurely walk along the coconut palm lined beach to the lively town center, interesting shops, and many fine and varied restaurants, or you can walk along the newly paved road, a mere 10 minutes to the first restaurants, shops, and fist of two surf breaks.
You enter Mariluna through a large walled entrance into a classic portico presenting you to the central fountain area which is surrounded by the beautifully arched columns of the open living room and dining area. Expansive ocean and bay views lie before you.
There is a queen size bedroom and bath next to the pool and two larger king size bedrooms on the opposite side of the house. All bedrooms have attached private tiled bathrooms, plus there is a fourth marble tiled bathroom off the pool. One of the large bedrooms with a king size bed can be converted to two twin beds.
A staircase winds around a black flagstone tower waterfall to the upper bedroom. All bedrooms have air conditioning, fans, and fantastic views.
There is a totally separate, private apartment on the second floor. which is occasionally occupied by the owner.
Sara and her husband Javier can be hired to prepare delicious meals, you have to try her Chili Relllenos.
Casa Mariluna is a tranquil, elegant yet comfortable, spacious retreat where body and soul can listen to and watch the ocean waves, the whales and dolphins, exotic jungle and sea birds,and be awed by magnificent sunsets. Enjoy the peace and harmony of nature. Casa Mariuna is a perfect place to relax yet have easy access to all that Sayulita has to offer.

My family of 6 spent 2 weeks at Casa Mariluna this winter..... wish we could have stayed 6 months! It is absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous decorations, comfortable furniture, excellent housekeeping, well-equipped kitchen, quiet beach front. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk to town, so you are away from noise, but close enough to enjoy all the town has to offer. Andrea is very conscientious about making all arrangements re pick-up at the airport, etc.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

Simply magnificent! These are the only words I can use to describe this house. Every breath taking step we took upon arrival, made us realize we had made the perfect choice. Each room was equally beautiful and the layout of the house, perfect! We will be back, and yes, Sara's cooking was the best and highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed at Casa Mariluna with two other couples for our wedding celebration weekend. The minute we walked in the door to the fountains, views, and beautiful decor, we were so excited! Sarah and Maru were fabulous as well. They greeted us, made us laugh and Sarah's husband cooked an incredible Mexican feast for us. We have been to Sayulita 5 times and Mariluna is by far the most spectacular place we have been! We cannot recommend it enough. Pure luxury. Can't wait to go back!

Your home is fabulous! We loved the open floor plan that made us feel we were sleeping on the beach next to the surf. Like our friends said, we did not use the fully equipped kitchen, but if Sara would cook for us on our next visit would definitely eat in.

We had a fantastic stay at the Mariluna. The views were fantastic. The whole house very open and comfortable. Our friends wanted to eat our so we did not cook but it is well equipped. The beds were comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

We love Mariluna! I have stayed here twice, and both times it really added to the whole experience of Sayulita. The house is lovely with an amazing view, and all around comfortable feel. You never really want to leave, however since there are tacos in town to be had... The housekeeper and her daughter made an amazing dinner for us that we all still talk about. Can't wait to come back in the spring!

She also makes the best Jevos Rancheros that I have ever had and I make a point of searching for the best.
