Just a walk over the dune just outside the door and you're at the beach. Or play a game of basketball in the patio area.

We are a family of three who have lived and loved this house and area for nearly twenty years enjoying summer day camp experiences, endless beach and water activities and countless nature excursions via biking or hiking.
Why the Owner Chose Michigan City
We looked for about one year at many properties in Illinois'' Lake County and heard about this particular development from friends. When we saw the exquisite dunes and the expansive beach, we were hooked. The sunsets are absolutely incredible. We are avid water sports people so wanted to be close to the water and you can't get any closer than our house. Windsurfing, kayaking, jet skiing, wakeboarding all just a short walk over the dune.
The Unique Benefits of this Single-Family House
Incredible sunsets, open dune land in front of our house, and on breezy days, it is fabulous to just open all the windows and let the breezes blow through the house. The two decks and street level patio offer three options for alfresco dining and entertaining. Plus, the hammock underneath the Bradford pear tree can't be beat.
