Perfect for visiting professors, nurses or anyone needing a home away from home. Remodeled 1370 sf house located 6 blks east of UNM Law School and minutes from UNM Med school and main campus. Also close to Nob Hill, Uptown, Downtown or Old Town, where you'll find great restaurants and cultural activities. Good location to get just about anywhere in Albuquerque. The airport is less then 10 minutes from the house. Easy access to the Interstates means easy access to anywhere in NM. Santa Fe is an hour away. The Nature Center with miles of paths by the Bosque is 15 minutes away. The Sandia Mountains are close as well. The UNM Golf Course is right next to the Law School where locals and students go to run and walk as well as play golf. The Tennis Club of Albuquerque is just 5 blocks north. The opportunities for venturing out and exploring Albuquerque and New Mexico are many but the house is also a great place to study, read, write or just plain hang out and relax.

The bedrooms are small, one has queen size bed, the other has a trundle bed that can be used as a single or pop up to make a double. However, there is a spacious master bath with a walk in double shower and a huge walk in closet. There is also a very comfortable queen sofa bed in the den. The backyard is lovely, large, landscaped and fully fenced for privacy. This house is furnished inside and out with everything you need. There is a small one car garage with automatic door. Parking is also available in the driveway. A 50” HD TV with basic cable, Internet, Wi-Fi and phone are included. The laundry room is quite large and could be used for projects.

This cute little house would be especially good for persons who want to have a cozy home while living temporarily in Albuquerque.

Minimum stay: one month (less time would be considered when openings occur between longer stays)

  • The house was not only very comfortable but also perfect for our trip. It is a very nice house with a fantastic back yard that our kids enjoyed very much. There is a park very close to the house as well as a grocery store and a great New Mexico style restaurant. The neighborhood is very tranquil and quiet, and the close proximity of the house to public transportation (4 bus lines) made it possible for me to attend business in downtown without having to drive in at all. The home owners are wonderful hosts and I was very impressed with the way in which they manage the house and conduct the business aspect of the home rental. Communication was excellent and they promptly shipped to us some forgotten items. This is a home that I would definitely rent on my next trip to Albuquerque.

  • We rented this home with friends for a week while we attended a conference in Albequerque. It was wonderful - four adults and three small children fit just fine. The backyard was a great place for little ones to play! The home is very comfortable, well-stocked, well decorated, and met all of our needs. The owners were very accommodating to our needs. We were able to ride city buses to the conference downtown - the house is located quite close to bus stops as well as a park that is great for kids. I would definitely recommend this home to others. And this experience has turned me into a believer of renting homes instead of finding hotel rooms when traveling to conferences, especially with small children in tow!

  • When my company relocated me to Albuquerque in August 2008, I felt incredibly fortunate to stumble across this property. This lovely home was fully stocked with everything I needed to be comfortable. I ended up staying until April 2009 and felt at home the entire time there with my 3 year old son. (In fact, we miss the Master Bath, as it is truly spectacular!) It is conveniently located in an good, family-friendly neighborhood near Whole Foods, UNM, Nob Hill, I-40, and a popular city park just a block away. This home is worth every penny for the convenience, comfort and peace of mind. The landlords were excellent to deal with in every regard. They really made my transition here exceptional. I whole-heartedly recommend this property!
