We love this all season cabin!

My family and I have spent some time in each season at this cabin in Minong . It is truly an all season cabin. We love sledding, snow shoeing and snowmobiling in the Winter, canoeing, bird watching and hiking in the Spring. In the Summer and Fall, we love to fish, swim, canoe and tube the Totagatic flowage and nearby lakes. We even found a public beach just a couple of miles from the cabin. There is a golf and tennis club just around the corner for you golf enthusiasts. The peace of the North woods is awesome.....we love to watch the deer, turkeys, black squirrels, hummingbirds and eagles. We have seen Pileated woodpeckers, Baltimore Orioles and even spotted black bears while there. The cabin is beautiful, well stocked, clean and user friendly. There is a wood stove for cool nights (or a furnace if you prefer) and of course air conditioning to cool you on those hot summer days. There is a closet of games for evenings on the porch or at the dining table with the double set of patio doors open for the breeze and sounds of the woods. I never take any sheets, towels or blankets as all there are clean, fresh and comfortable. I do not take any dishes or kitchenware as the kitchen has everything I have needed. There is a gas grill available for use- works great! I do bring some of my groceries with me although there is a large grocery store 10-15 minutes away. My family has fished, swam in, tubed and canoed the Totagatic River by the cabin- all enjoyable experiences. We have canoed on several lakes around the area, and walked all around the area. We have even picked blueberries and made fresh muffins with them. There are current brochures at the cabin- of happenings and restaurants around the area and we have enjoyed several of those as well --including a lumberjack show in Hayward, the 4th of July parade in Danbury, a rodeo in Spooner, WI., a Canoe and tube rental- Trego, WI (tubing the Namekagon River a very popular and fun group activity). I treasure my little vacations at the Minong cabin and my girls and my granddaughter have had many "Kodak moments" and memory maker experiences there in the North woods. I look forward to booking again for next year! Jenny
