The condo is fully furnished including WiFi internet, phone with unlimited nationwide calling, HiDef TV's, furnished patio and a balcony both with southwest sunny exposures and views of the bay. The gated condominium complex has unobstructed, panoramic views of Sail Bay from the common area.
Wake up and enjoy your morning coffee or evening "libation" on your private patio or next to the (now closed) pool. So many decisions..walk, jog, skate, or rent bikes nearby to circle the entire Mission Bay area and beach. Stroll on the boardwalk, sun on the beach, enjoy surfing, boogie boards or one of the many great seaside restaurants. Perhaps you'd prefer relaxing and reading a book on the balcony or patio...or on the beach.. how about renting a boat to sail the bay from the nearby facilities. Another option would be to visit the nearby Catamaran hotel and take a ride on their sternwheeler boats during the day or dance on board to live bands at night. Just minutes drive away is Sea World, the world-famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park and it's 14 museums, La Jolla, golf, sea kayaking, downtown fabulous Gaslamp District, Seaport Village, Del Mar, Torrey Pines, UCSD, SDSU, Scripps and USD. Legoland is a short ride to the north and while you're there, you might as well contribute to our local economy (and your pocketbook) by shopping at the fabulous Carlsbad Outlet Mall.
We're interested in renting to responsible non-smoking guests, it's perfect for one or two couples or a couple with small children who can share a bed. Anyone under 25 must be accompanied by an adult.
There are quiet hours in the complex from 10pm-7am. The amazing views from your condo are what makes this a private, quiet beach vacation in which to unwind and relax. You will find yourself wanting to return to watch the sailboats on the bay, the sunsets, and the fireworks of Sea World at night.

Everyday you can walk, bike, skate or drive a short distance and get to the Mission Bay/Beach area and its boardwalk. The best of San Diego....Sea World, the Zoo, the boardwalk shops and roller coaster, the shopping, art, and beauty of La Jolla, the night life of the Gaslamp downtown are also minutes away by car. Or, you can just relax in our condo or on the beach at the bay just a few steps away. An assigned parking place in the condo's parking lot awaits you to aid in your ease of travel.
Great hotel with tropical ambiance and nice breakfast. See Tropical birds exhibited, aquarium bar and rent bike/surfboard, boogie board nearby. "Bahia Belle" sternwheeler travels at night across bay.
La Jolla means "the jewel" and there are many beautiful walks along the cliff above small coves, caves and beaches. La Jolla "Cove" is a popular place for snorkeling and doing scuba with kayaking.
From the Bay and Baywalk (near Catamaran Hotel) you can cross Mission Beach Blvd. and reach the boardwalk which travels from northern Pacific Beach to Southern Mission Beach.
The world famous San Diego Zoo will keep you busy for most of a day along with Balboa Park and its lovely landscaping and museums.
Many clubs, bars, boutiques and eclectic shops, fast food restaurants, food stores (i.e. Trader Joe's, Henry's, Safeway are on this Pacific beach main strip called "Garnet" .

Our family has enjoyed many memorable moments at our special bayside "Slice of Heaven" retreat and we have recently opened it up as a vacation rental. There is a certain sense of relaxation and calm when one looks outside at the glistening water, white sand, and colorful sailboats. We would like to share it with you by providing the just renovated fresh look on the inside with new floors, carpets, paint, beds/bedding, and new appliances. My husband and I were visiting our daughters for the holidays and stayed in this condo. We loved the location. The bay is right outside your door. We borrowed bikes and biked for miles along the bay and ocean, stopping at great seaside restaurants along the way. The bay is great for long walks, too. The condo was very clean and spacious. Everything you need is there. We really enjoyed our stay!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with young children.

Clean and every thing you need for eating in and great access for long walks along Sail Bay and MB boardwalk. Easy access to I-5, airport, or anywhere else. We enjoyed it very much!
Recommended for:Age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

My family and I (including 2 children 3yo and 1yo) stayed here in 7/2010. The location couldn't be any better. You are steps to the beach and serene baywater. There is an adorable park adjacent to the property which our children loved. You can swim in the pool while still enjoying the beautiful views. Seaworld, the Zoo, and Legoland are all a short drive away. My son even asked when we returned home if we could go back to our "vacation house" because he liked it more. The unit itself was beautifully decorated and very clean. Everything essential was provided for guests traveling by plane or car. You really can't go wrong with this unit; has a perfect location and a beautiful interior. I would highly recomend it to anyone and we plan on coming back again.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.
