Welcome to the cush concept home at 43 Shell Ring at Carolina Place in Sea Pines. What is the "cush concept"? Please read on-- we would love to tell you!
Our philosophy as owners is that your vacation experience- be it 3 days or 3 months- should be completely comfortable. We accomplish this by offering a spotlessly clean home, beautifully decorated in our signature coastal chic style, and we have equipped our homes with what we consider to be absolute necessities for a comfortable stay:
43 Shell Ring is light and bright and totally new and fresh! A few of our favorite things: New electronics, crisp, cotton sheets and fluffy pillows, new appliances, all new furnishings and mattresses, plus great beach equipment. The carpets are clean and fresh smelling, and our housekeepers keep the house in tip top shape. 43 Shell Ring is all new for Summer 2009!
The bright, open kitchen is a great place to boil fresh shrimp and corn on the cob...or order pizza from Island favorite, Mellow Mushroom, or grab a take-and-bake from T.J.'s, both just 2 minutes away.
There is also a great grilling deck with gas grill for fresh fish or a yummy steak from the Fresh Market, or cook up a storm in our fabulous kitchen. Have you ever rented a vacation home only to find that the glassware is old and mismatched, the cookware is nearly non-existent, and that there MIGHT be one or two old wine glasses hidden back in the dark, stained cabinets? We have!! And we did not want that experience to greet our guests? So expect- and enjoy- a true cush concept kitchen.
Open from the kitchen are two sitting and conversation areas, one with 39" LCD television, and both open to the spacious deck overlooking the Carolina lake.
4 bedrooms (2 King, 1 Queen, 2 Twins) each boast the comfiest bed linens we could find, with "down alternative" pillows- great for those who may be allergic, as well as LCD TV/DVD in each room. Baths are all new and spic and span! There is a big laundry room with space for hanging wet things after swimming. Ceiling fans and cool AC make even the inside breezy!
Stay connected to the outside world (if you must) with high speed wireless internet. As a cush client you will also receive free access to Hargray's "hot spots" all around the Island. You can even take your laptop to Harbour Town, find a rocking chair, and start surfing or check email!

LOCATION: Mapquest or GoogleMap 43 Shell Ring, Hilton Head, 29928, to see the exact location. The neighborhood of Carolina Place is near the main gate to Sea Pines and features the nicest neighborhood pool in the resort, plus private tennis courts. It's 15 minutes by bike to Harbour Town, The Beach Club, or South Beach, or less than 5 minutes by car to any of the three. Walk or bike to the Forest Preserve or Lawton Stables.
Bikes: Biking is the BEST in Sea Pines, and the bike trail runs just in front of Carolina Place. You can have adult and child size bikes, toddler seats, and pull-alongs all delivered and waiting for you when you arrive. Please see our Guest Pack that you will receive when you inquire with your prospective dates of reservation.
Beach Chairs: We have 8 folding beach chairs at the house along with a big beach umbrella, sand toys and lots of beach towels. Take the umbrella with you to the beach OR-- if you prefer, you may also rent the traditional chairs and umbrellas directly from the lifeguards. Full information is in our Guest Pack, which will be emailed to you when you inquire on your vacation dates.
Beach Proximity -- Hop in your car and drive to Sea Pines Beach Club in less than 5 minutes. There you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas, sip a cool drink at the Beach Bar, or grab a freshly grilled burger from the grill. Children's activities, full baths, and a shore store complete the Beach Club. THE BEACH IS REALLY NOT WALKABLE FROM CAROLINA PLACE-- BEST TO DRIVE OR BIKE UNLESS YOU ARE UP FOR A REAL WALK FOR EXERCISE!
