  Our first trip to Aruba was amazing. Looking forward to going back next year. We had same feelings like Julie from Cananda. Little nervous on the unexpected. Whose feelings quickly went away when setting foot into the condo. Great views and so spacious and comfortable. It was so nice for my husband and I to have our own room and bathroom. Our two kids loved their room and own bathroom. We were not on top of each other. Loved the 2 minute walk to the beach. Loved the fact that the condo provided beach chairs and beach towels. (good beach chairs and towels too). We always went straight to a talopa (umbrella). Sun is strong but welcoming. Sunblock a must! Loved the breeze. We learned from the other beach goers to tie your chairs around umbrella if you leave the beach a short time. Otherwise the chairs can blow away. No problem, I used a belt to secure them. Food at all restaurants were great. We did do some food shopping for the week. Everyday we had at least one meal at condo. We rented a jeep one day and drove to beautiful Baby Beach. I would bring your own snorkeling gear. At Baby Beach for a price they do provide chairs and umbrella. They also have a nice snack bar. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

  My husband and I as well as another couple truly enjoyed our stay at Serenity, it truly was that. The condo complex is perfect, some days we were the only ones at the pool and made it feel like it was all ours! The beach is a short walk away and our friends whom have never been to Aruba before, were truly amazed at how quiet and how perfect Eagle Beach is. The homeowner was truly great in responding to any of our questions and was very prompt in responding. Aruba is truly an amazing place, it is definitely our favorite vacation spot. A brand new Supermarket has opened a few blocks away from Oceania so this truly is now in a perfect location. You must hit El Gaucho for amazing steaks, another must is Wacky Wahoo's and Passions (walking distance for that one) sadly, we didn't have time to hit Screaming Eagle but it definitely will be on our return hit list. Another must, hit the Soprano's Bar for some live music and some good laughs. All in all, the condo was very clean, and it was in a perfect location. If you are looking for a huge party spot, you will not enjoy Oceania, however, if you are looking for some fun, relaxation, and a great time, this is the place to stay. We are looking forward to 2013

  The unit was just as described and the pictures represented just what it was. Very comfortable, well stocked, the view is ocean front, pools and a lovely terrace to sit and have morning coffee. It is quiet. Has a small gym, enough to do a lite weight train and treadmill workout, but you don't need it. An absolutely beautiful, gorgeous beach, Eagle, right out front, approximately 150 yards. Pools are nice at the end of the day. I would suggest renting a car. Even though there are restaurants in walking distance and you have the bus. If you are the type that want crowds and a beach bar this is not for you. If you like an uncrowded beach, swimming, shade when you want it, quiet and total relaxation, this is for you. All the action is close by...not in your yard! The best part of renting this property was dealing with the owners, Pat & Jill. Upon arrival a few minor things needed to be dealt with, and they addressed our concerns immediately. The moment we contacted them till the end of our trip, both were professional and attentive. Thank you again. Do not hesitate for one second to stay here! Enjoy.

  My girlfriend and i had the pleasure of staying at Pat and Jill's condo on Eagle Beach, the week of Sept 15th. What a beautiful place to stay. The sunsets are amazing, and all you have to do to see them is to walk out onto the balcony. The beach was anything but crowded. plenty of space to relax and not be overrun buy other people. I was glad to have rented a jeep while we were there, as there really is alot to see on the Island. Tons and i mean tons of resturants and stores throughout the island to visit. Everything was first class at the condo, from the manager who greats you to the security at the gates. Always a smile, and always yelling have a great day, or welcome home, hope you enjoyed your day. And if you do decide to rent from Pat, you must visit the Jolly Pirates. They are a company that offers a sunset cruise each night on their pirate ship, they were a blast. It has been 5 days since i have come back to the states and i have cried each morning i awake when i realize i am not in Aruba anymore!!!! Cant wait to come back next year!

  We had the amazing opportunity to rend this condo for 10 days this August and we would not hesitate to return. We are a family of 3 (our daughter is 9 years old) and this was our first time renting a condo – we have always stayed in hotels previously . Firstly, it was a pleasure to deal with Pat and Jill – the communication was always pleasant and prompt and once we sent our deposit, they mailed us maps and books about Aruba to prepare us for the vacation. The condo is located in a complex (the Oceania) which is completely secure. There is a gated entrance and security guards are on the grounds throughout the day/night. The grounds at the Oceania are impeccably clean and there are 4 pools to enjoy, along with a gym with ellipticals, treadmills, a bike, and free weights. And it is located directly across the street from Eagle Beach – where we never had trouble finding a place to sit. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the manager and given the keys to the condo. The condo is spacious, clean and beautiful, and it is fully stocked! Pat and Jill provide coolers, beach chairs, pool toys, we had some paper towel and toilet paper to start… I can’t think of anything they missed – all of the necessities for an amazing vacation. And the sunsets from the balcony are indescribable! We enjoyed watching them every night! The location is perfect – I would not have wanted to stay on Palm Beach where the chairs are practically on top of each other (think cruise ship). Aruba itself is “one happy island” Everyone was so friendly everywhere we went. We did rent a car for the vacation and had fun exploring the island – we went to the Lighthouse, Arashi Beach, Baby Beach, Palm Beach, and shopping in Oranjestad. And we had some of the best dinners – Pinchos and Barefoot deserve a mention. You do not need a car, but with such a safe island – why not explore? We look forward to returning to Aruba and we will stay in Pat and Jill’s condo again. This truly was a fantastic experience and a fun vacation had by all!

  We had a great stay here. Pat and Jill are very responsive and have been very helpful. This is our second time renting this unit. My sister rented this unit around the same time last year for some of our family members who were attending our wedding. The location is quiet, calm, not crowded and perfect for relaxing. The unit itself is immaculately clean and very well stocked with helpful items such as beach chairs, beach towels, floating noodles, hand soap and some kitchen items. I suggest checking what the owners and past renters have left for you before heading to the market, it might save you some time and money. The only slight problem I encountered was that the bathroom in the master bedroom can sometimes smell damp if it is not ventilated properly. This, of course, is not to the fault the owners. We like to sleep with all the doors closed and this may have been the issue. I decided to keep the bathroom fan on for a bit after a shower and leave the door open to increase ventilation and this seemed to help a lot. We had a an overall great stay and would definitely rent this unit again.

  My family and I just returned from a relaxing week at Serenity condo. This was an exceptional condo--they even supplied the necessities that other owners don't (paper towels, dish soap, foil, toilet paper)--making it nice to walk in the first day. Eagle Beach is beautiful and peaceful. No going down early to save a spot in the shade. And away from the commercialism of Palm Beach with it's high rise hotels, name brand restaurants, etc. Oceania is a very security condo development with a very friendly security guard. The fitness room has just enough equipment. The grounds are immaculate and there were folks their every day making sure they stayed pristine. Ocean is close enough to a supermarket (less than 2 miles) which had everything we needed. I would recommend this condo to anyone. It was wonderful.

  An oasis of calm away from the chaos and crowds of Palm Beach awaits you at this condo! As two ladies traveling alone, we loved the security of the gated community and the impeccably-kept grounds of the Oceania Residences. The refreshing, clean pools (4 of them!) are steps away from the unit and rarely have more than three people in them. Breathtaking Eagle Beach is a quick walk across the street. The road, while busy, is simple to cross, given its pedestrian-friendly drivers. Palapas on the beach were always available--the same just cannot be said for the packed beaches by the high rise hotels, so we felt almost giddy to be staying here! The condo itself was immaculate, very well-kept and incredibly well-supplied. Everything you could need-- spray oil for a frying pan, nightlights in the hallways, dozens of fresh towels, a varied selection of beach chairs-- and beautifully renovated bathrooms and strong a/c when you are sweaty and tired from the hot Aruba sun! Property manager Judy gave us a warm welcome and immediately assisted us on day 2 when we dumbly locked the safe code inside the safe. There are amazing ocean views from the master bedroom, the balcony, the living room, and the kitchen and we enjoyed every moment we could gazing at the ocean. Whether we were reading on the balcony in the mid-morning, baking a cake after a day exploring Arashi Beach in the evening, or watching the sunset, the spectacular views reminded us of the amazing place we called home for a week! The only thing we could possibly improve about Oceania Residences is the soundproofing between units (one or two nights our neighbors were arguing or entertaining young, screechy grandchildren) and a grocery within walking distance would be a blessing for guests without a car. However, the bus stop outside the Oceania gate easily transports you to the grocery, downtown Oranjestad, and the high rise hotel area and beyond. Frequently though, we were hesitant to leave the gorgeous views and utterly rejuvenating confines of the condo and lovely Eagle Beach. We would love to return and very highly recommend a stay in this fantastic condo!

  This is an awesome condo in a great location. Eagle beach is right across the street. The view from the balcony is amazing. This was our first trip to Aruba and our first time using VRBO so we were a little nervous but we had nothing to fear. The condo is exactly as pictured and very clean. There's not too much within walking distance but after seeing the congestion on the beach in front of the high rise hotels I couldn't imagine staying on Palm Beach and fighting the crowds. The beach in front of Oceania is quiet, peaceful and gorgeous. There are palapas and palm trees for shade and you don't have to fight 900 or so other resort guests to be under one. The owners provide just about everything you could need: fully equiped kitchen, full size washer & dryer, beach towels, beach chairs and coolers. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Aruba!!

• Aruba at its Best

  We were there (4 adults) the week Nov 1 - Nov 8, 2011, and could not have had a better time. The owners were very helpful with answers to all our questions, in that none of us had ever been to Aruba before. Judy greeted us at the condo and was very helpful showing us around (it is exactly as it is described) and answering all of our additional questions. Aruba is absolute paradise and this condo made it an absolutely perfect week. Everything you need is in the condo. It's a two-three minute walk to the beach. The pools at the condo were very nice, although we spent most of our time at the beach. Eagle Beach is perfect......wide, white sandy beach (and in November it was not at all crowded). All the restaurants we ate in were great....great food, great atmosphere. Be sure to check out Screaming Eagle and Flying Fishbone. Rent a car....it will be much cheaper than using taxis if you plan to do any sightseeing or restaurant hunting on your own. The people who live in Aruba are all very friendly and accommodating....they could not have been nicer. Be sure to do a snorkeling adventure (we went on the Dolphin catamaran....perfect!!!!) and then make a day of it and go on the sunset cruise on that same catamaran. You will have a great time, the crew makes it so much fun. Aruba is a beautiful island, this condo is lovely (very comfortable and the view of the Caribbean and the property grounds from the balcony of this unit is gorgeous), and it all makes for a perfect vacation. When we return to Aruba (and I know we will), I would hope this condo is available because I definitely would stay here again.
