An oasis of calm away from the chaos and crowds of Palm Beach awaits you at this condo! As two ladies traveling alone, we loved the security of the gated community and the impeccably-kept grounds of the Oceania Residences. The refreshing, clean pools (4 of them!) are steps away from the unit and rarely have more than three people in them. Breathtaking Eagle Beach is a quick walk across the street. The road, while busy, is simple to cross, given its pedestrian-friendly drivers. Palapas on the beach were always available--the same just cannot be said for the packed beaches by the high rise hotels, so we felt almost giddy to be staying here! The condo itself was immaculate, very well-kept and incredibly well-supplied. Everything you could need-- spray oil for a frying pan, nightlights in the hallways, dozens of fresh towels, a varied selection of beach chairs-- and beautifully renovated bathrooms and strong a/c when you are sweaty and tired from the hot Aruba sun! Property manager Judy gave us a warm welcome and immediately assisted us on day 2 when we dumbly locked the safe code inside the safe. There are amazing ocean views from the master bedroom, the balcony, the living room, and the kitchen and we enjoyed every moment we could gazing at the ocean. Whether we were reading on the balcony in the mid-morning, baking a cake after a day exploring Arashi Beach in the evening, or watching the sunset, the spectacular views reminded us of the amazing place we called home for a week! The only thing we could possibly improve about Oceania Residences is the soundproofing between units (one or two nights our neighbors were arguing or entertaining young, screechy grandchildren) and a grocery within walking distance would be a blessing for guests without a car. However, the bus stop outside the Oceania gate easily transports you to the grocery, downtown Oranjestad, and the high rise hotel area and beyond. Frequently though, we were hesitant to leave the gorgeous views and utterly rejuvenating confines of the condo and lovely Eagle Beach. We would love to return and very highly recommend a stay in this fantastic condo!

Awesome condo

This is an awesome condo in a great location. Eagle beach is right across the street. The view from the balcony is amazing. This was our first trip to Aruba and our first time using VRBO so we were a little nervous but we had nothing to fear. The condo is exactly as pictured and very clean. There's not too much within walking distance but after seeing the congestion on the beach in front of the high rise hotels I couldn't imagine staying on Palm Beach and fighting the crowds. The beach in front of Oceania is quiet, peaceful and gorgeous. There are palapas and palm trees for shade and you don't have to fight 900 or so other resort guests to be under one. The owners provide just about everything you could need: fully equiped kitchen, full size washer & dryer, beach towels, beach chairs and coolers. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Aruba!!

Aruba at its Best

We were there (4 adults) the week Nov 1 - Nov 8, 2011, and could not have had a better time. The owners were very helpful with answers to all our questions, in that none of us had ever been to Aruba before. Judy greeted us at the condo and was very helpful showing us around (it is exactly as it is described) and answering all of our additional questions. Aruba is absolute paradise and this condo made it an absolutely perfect week. Everything you need is in the condo. It's a two-three minute walk to the beach. The pools at the condo were very nice, although we spent most of our time at the beach. Eagle Beach is perfect......wide, white sandy beach (and in November it was not at all crowded). All the restaurants we ate in were great....great food, great atmosphere. Be sure to check out Screaming Eagle and Flying Fishbone. Rent a car....it will be much cheaper than using taxis if you plan to do any sightseeing or restaurant hunting on your own. The people who live in Aruba are all very friendly and accommodating....they could not have been nicer. Be sure to do a snorkeling adventure (we went on the Dolphin catamaran....perfect!!!!) and then make a day of it and go on the sunset cruise on that same catamaran. You will have a great time, the crew makes it so much fun. Aruba is a beautiful island, this condo is lovely (very comfortable and the view of the Caribbean and the property grounds from the balcony of this unit is gorgeous), and it all makes for a perfect vacation. When we return to Aruba (and I know we will), I would hope this condo is available because I definitely would stay here again.

Just returned from Aruba. Stayed at Serenity one word WOW! We were a little tense about renting because of the not knowing factor sending money to someone you don't know and not knowing if the condo is what it appears to be. Well it is better. It is clean, all that you need is there, the beds are comfortable and it is spacious. We are a family of five (3 teens) and we recommend at 100%. Aruba is the nicest Caribbean island we have seen so far,large variety of restaurants, comparable supermarkets with excellent selection of whatever you need and lots to do. Rent a car, just a lot more practical to get around and see/do a lot more. Enjoy! We did. Thank you Julie, Judy and Pat for the wine we enjoyed it watching the sunset and for your honesty. cheers!

Serenity in Aruba

I took my mother to Aruba for her 70th birthday and my sister for a week. We stayed in Serenity and very much enjoyed our stay. It is as promised, comfortable, well appointed, and well located. We did get in late, and Judy met us at the condo and showed us all around. We did not use the pools, we spent all of our time at the beach. The beach was for the most part empty of people, and easy to get to from the unit. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the balcony and the beach! I really liked the location of Oceania relative to Eagle Beach and the surroundings. We could easily walk to several restaurants for any and all meals. We rented a car because we wanted easy access to the island, but the bus stops frequently near the resort. Overall, I would highly recommend Serenity and Oceania. Working with Pat and Jill was such an easy process. Thanks.

We rented the Serenity condo for our 25th anniversary and i couldn't have picked a better place. it was everything we hoped it would be. Very clean, quiet, and friendly place. All our expectations were met and we couldn't have been more pleased. Can't wait for a return trip..definitely coming back! Thank you Pat and Jill for a wonderfull time.

The perfect vacation

WOW! Thanks to Pat and Jill, we had a fabulous vacation. Serenity at Oceania Resort is amazing. The layout of the property was spacious, comfortable and extremely relaxing. Our 6 year old loved the zero entry pools and met a new friend at all 4 pools. We loved that the poolside was never crowded. The location of the resort is perfect. Eagle beach is beautiful and extremely easy to get to (the road between Oceania Resort and the beach was definately not a problem). We were able to take the local bus to go shopping and out to eat. It picked us up and dropped us off right at the property. So convenient and safe! The condo itself was better than the description. The kitchen had everything! It was the most well equipped kitchen that we have ever had in a vacation rental.The condo also had everything that you need to spend a day at the beach (coolers, chairs, towels, sand toys, etc). Prior to our arrival Pat and Jill were extremely prompt in answering any and all questions. Serenity surpassed all of our expectations. We are already talking about our next visit in 2012.

My wife and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary and her 50th birthday in Aruba. Our 1st time and we loved staying at the Oceania on Eagle Beach. The condo was perfect, much better then staying at an over crowded hotel. Looks just like the photos. Very clean and quiet which is something I look forward to on vacation. Pat was very helpful with information on Aruba, from where to rent a car to restaurants. The Screaming Eagles is within walking distance to the condo and is excellent food . The beach is directly across the street from the condo and is not crowded like the other beaches. The condo supplied everything we could possibly need besides personal items. We would have breakfast at the condo and fix a picnic lunch for the beach. The condo has beach chairs, towels and a cooler, which were used everyday. We are looking forward to our next trip and will stay at the Serenity again. Can't wait.

One Happy Island

This was our second stay at Serenity - went for a week in 2009 and this year we had to stay 10 days! It's perfect for us - very quiet and peaceful. There was a bit of construction going on next door, but on the day it was a bit loud, we just went to the other (huge) pool and it was fine. We enjoy the quiet atmosphere of this condo complex. The pools are never crowded (in fact we were the only ones at the pool for most of our stay!). Just a short walk across the street to the ocean. The condo unit itself is just like home (only nicer!). All of the amenties needed and very clean and comfortable. Loved the addition of the IPod docking stations - thank you! If you're looking for lots of activities and noise (all inclusives), this probably isn't the place for you. If you want a nice, relaxing vacation, stay at Serenity!

All pictures are very true to form, actually very pretty. The condo is just as nice as it looks. The beach was relatively quiet with huts for some shade, and the 3 pools are phenomenal !! Just a short ride to downtown, restaurants and shopping, etc. A Wonderul, relaxing vacation bringing pure joy !

My sister and I with our husbands stayed at this condo at Oceania celebrating our 40th birthdays! We could not have asked for a more beautifully decorated, comfortable place to stay. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, as you could see the ocean just perfectly. The condo had everything a renter would need and then some...they even had big beach towels along with beverage coolers to take out by the ocean or to one of the four georgeous pools! The location was just perfect, as it was close to both the low-rise hotels and minutes away from the high rise hotels with amazing resturants all along the way. We will most defiantely stay here again when we have the opportunity to go back to beautiful Aruba!

PERFECT IN PARADISE!

This was our 6th trip to Aruba and by far the best. We brought along my husband's sister and our 13 year old granddaughter this trip and couldn't of asked for a better home away from home than the Serenity condo. When they say fully furnished, they really meant it. From the complete kitchen to the luxurious bedrooms and baths, it was nicer than most of the hotels.The view from the balcony was fantastic, shaded in the morning and fabulous sunsets at night. Eagle beach was a short walk away and we had no trouble finding empty cabanas to relax under out of the sun. The pools were warm and very well kept and my husband was very happy with the exercise room and sauna. We took the bus,(which stops right in front to go to Palm Beach and the big hotels) on many occasions with no problems (and it's only $1.25 each way). Overall Pat & Jill have a gem of a place and we can't wait to return next year.

If you are looking for a vacation rental where it feels like your home away from home this is the place for you. The condo literally has everything you could possibly need...huge closets, towels, chairs, comfy beds & furniture, completely furnished kitchen, etc. It has all the comforts of home and includes an amazing view of the beach & ocean. Wait until you see the gorgeous sunsets from the balcony! The property is gated & safe and immaculately kept. If you are a foodie or just looking for something unique for dinner, the condo is practically next door to a great restaurant (The Screaming Eagle). Don't let the name fool you...nothing screams except our raves about the great food. I'll let you discover the hidden treasure about the restaurant on your own. We loved the location & how easy it was to get around but what really sold us was how at home we felt in a tropical paradise. Enjoy!

We stayed at the Oceania in May of 2010. What a great place!!! The room is so nice and we had everything we could need in the kitchen as well as beach towels, laundry room, etc. The grounds have 4 great pools to choose from and is so quiet and relaxing. The beach is so close and there is a great view of it from the balcony. No complaints this was a great place to stay in beautiful Aruba and will be back to visit soon!!!

We stayed in the Serenity condo at Oceania January 16-23, 2010 for a family vacation and we all absolutely loved it! We have 3 teenaged girls (19,16,14) and it was very nice that they had their own room and bathroom to share with ample closet space for their many clothes. Our master bedroom was very comfortable and spacious with a huge closet and safe for valuables. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the patio in both the master and living area. The kitchen was nice and had everything you need to cook a great meal or blend a frosty drink. We live in Minnesota so the warm Aruba weather was a treat. We spent time on beautiful Eagle beach everyday. I loved that it was relatively quiet and yet close to town and the highrise area too. Everyone spoke English fluently and we always felt safe. We are already talking about coming back next year but will extend our stay to 10 days next time. Pat and Jill were so helpful, kind and easy to work with. Thanks for sharing your condo with us. I would recommend it to anyone!

My friend and I stayed at the Oceania from Dec. 6-13, 2009. My only complaint is that it wasn't for longer! Pat, the owner, answered my zillions of questions patiently and thoroughly. The Oceania was very quiet and peaceful the week we were there - no crowds and blaring music. So, if you're looking for a rowdy place, you should consider all inclusive resorts (I just returned from one in Aruba and I would go the condo route again in a minute). I would definitely book with Pat again, and hope to be back in December 2010! (Note: you will need to go through a gate and walk across the street to get to the ocean, but it's very close!)

We stayed at the Oceania over Thanksgiving -November 2009. We had a wonderful time. We have been traveling to Aruba for the last 8 years. We actually own a timeshare in Aruba but wasn’t able to book it over Thanksgiving. We took my parents that were 76 years old because we wanted them to see the beautiful island that we have grown to love so much. They are still talking about the trip. The condo worked out great with the elevators close to the parking lot and with the ocean view gave my parents the down time they needed but still was able to enjoy the awesome views of the ocean. In the future if we are not able to book the timeframe we need we will definitely contact Pat. She was wonder and her condo had everything we could possible need or want. Thank you for renting your condo to us.

We stayed at Oceania for the first time in Sept. 2009 for 3 weeks. Our stunning condo is aptly named "Serenity", a 2-bedroom 2-bathroom unit with full washer and dryer facilities, breathtaking views of the ocean and pools, and fantastic facilities. Pat and her daughter Jill own the condominium and are, bar none, the sweetest and kindest people. There seems to be no limit to what they want to do to make your stay the best.They are both truly lovely people. Since my husband is Aruban we are on the island often and because his family house there is occupied we have been renting timeshares for 8 years over the internet. Thus we have experienced almost every timeshare and mode of living on Aruba and think we may have a unique perspective in judging accommodations there. And we LOVED Serenity! We have never felt so truly "at home" as we did there. We have been really comfortable at many of our former accommodations but there was something so special and calming about coming back each day to a gorgeous condo that was not a "hotel" but a real home. We were surprised ourselves at how different we felt --like we were actually "living" in Aruba again! Serenity itself is just beautiful and furnished with every convenience anyone could ask for. The staff at Oceania are wonderful too and are helpful in every way, 24 hours a day. This is the place if you want a peaceful stay in a beautiful condo in the best place in the world! We are so grateful that we have found Serenity.

This condo is a wonderful place to stay while in Aruba! Everything we could have wanted was in the condo. The location is excellent right across from Eagle Beach, but yet close enough to town & the high rise area. We will definitely stay at "Serenity" again!
