My husband and I just returned from staying in Beau Voir and we couldn't have been more pleased. We are frequent visitors to the Smokys and have stayed in many different cabins and Beau Voir is the best we have stayed in by far! The views from this cabin are breath taking, and Sheila has obviously gone to great lengths to decorate the cabin for not only comfort but beauty. We are looking forward to spending many more vacations in this fabulous cabin!

This cabin is the perfect experience for a relaxing visit to the Pigeon Forge area. Just 10-15 minutes from the main parkway, yet very quiet & private. The view of the mountains is almost panoramic.. and if you're familiar with Mt. LeConte, it's right in front of you! There is an outdoor sitting area with stools, facing the mountains. Perfect for any meal! The driveway is a little steep, but for the VIEW, this is very common in the Smokies.. This cabin does have well water but the filtration system does an excellent job. We brought bottled water to drink, but for showering & cooking - it was normal. (We actually noticed that our skin felt softer than usual!) The cabin is equipped with everything for a wonderful stay and Sheila is GREAT to work with. She answered all my emails & questions very quickly. The rental process was very easy. We will definitely be staying at Beau Voir again! ** If we could make one wish, it would be for the den tv to be a little larger. Our eyesight isn't what it used to be!

Last year we went in November, and just got back from our trip this year on Sunday. Beau Voir is the best thing about our trip. We go with great ambitions to do so many great things but we find it so hard to actually leave the cabin. Well equipped and very personable and unique. Sheila is amazing too....very helpful. I plan to go back at least once a year for many years to come.

For much of our lives, we both have come to the Smokies for getaways. By far, this is our favorite cabin. It is hard to say enough good things about it, but here goes! The views at Beau Voir are absolutely amazing, and that doesn't even begin to describe it's beauty. Most cabins with a view are very difficult to get to, but this one actually has two ways from the Parkway with paved roads that are in great shape. Being less than 10 minutes from the Parkway made it so convenient for shopping, dining, entertainment, etc. But we only left for dinner one evening, because we really didn't want to leave this little piece of serenity in the Smokies. We had several of our meals on the deck, which has an incredible view of Mt. LeConte. We were fortunate to have an almost full moon on this return visit. While we were having breakfast Saturday morning, an inquisitive humming bird came within inches of us. That was a first for both of us. While on the porch, you have a choice of relaxing in the hot tub, rocking away your cares in comfy rockers, or sitting in high top bar stools with a built in table. If the climate is too warm or cool, you can enjoy the views from the substantial dining table or upstairs over a game of pool. This is NOT a cookie cutter cabin. The decor is unique, including marble floors downstairs and hardwood up, exposed beam ceilings, custom- tiled counter tops, wonderful lighting, with antiques and seasonal touches throughout. Normally, we prefer a Jacuzzi bath, but you will never miss it here with all the extra special amenities this cabin has to offer. From Wi-Fi, Directv, DVD players, a small reading library, pool table, and hot tub, you will never need to leave. If you don't bring food to charcoal grill, you will wish you had, as this cabin is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a wonderful meal. Sheila is such an amazing hostess. She thinks of everything and wants to make sure your stay is the best. She is always a call or text away and will ensure all your needs are met. Everything has instructions, from the flashlight to the TVs...you will not have problems with anything here at Beau Voir. We will definitely come back again and again; hope you will, too!

We found Beau Voir to be enchanting and charming. The cabin is delightful.....full of whimsey and strengh! The surrounding area is beautiful!. The cabin had everything we could have asked for (with the exception of a grocery very near by)....lucky for us, we brought most of our provisions......and we had a GPS that got us everywhere!!! We had a hard time leaving the lovely and amazing views from "Beau Voir" even for an hour, it is a great place to spend as much time as possible. The ramp to the door made unloading and loading very accessable. We cannot wait until we return!!! T&T

Our experience was great. We have stayed in many cabins in the area, but this one had the best view. The cabin was just the right size for a family of four. It was very well cleaned and maintained. I appreciate the driveway. You actually had room for more than one vehicle and had room to turn around. We will definitely rent this cabin again in the future. Sheila was very easy to work with. Rental process was very simple. Thanks again for a great time.

I brought my wife and our two kids (age 9 and 7) along with her parents. We stayed July 11-15, 2011. As the title states, we had an exceptional overall experience. Do not be unreasonable. If you look hard enough or really want to, you can find fault with anything. The cabin was very clean and smelled lovely as it had just been cleaned prior to our arrival. The beds were comfortable. Four adults are easily accommodated in the king and queen beds. Two children sleep easily either on the couch that converts to a bed, the air mattress that was provided or, as we did, you can bring your own air mattress. Sheila is very pleasant and easy to deal with. The agreement we signed was easy to understand. Just take care of the cabin and try to leave it like you found it. We did not worry her, but when we needed to call or email she answered right away or as soon as she was able. She is very professional and helpful. The jacuzzi was as advertised. We enjoyed using it. The kitchen was as described in the pictures. There was a full-sized refrigerator. There was a modern, conventional range (oven and four top burners). There was a microwave, coffe maker, and dishwasher. The kitchen bar was spacious. We were glad to have use of the washer, dryer and ironing board. The rooms were well decorated. We enjoyed the pool table. Most of all, though, the view was amazing! No, not everything was perfect. The high speed internet was a lot slower than what we are used to. This was, in large part, because we were routing through the Smokey Mountains. One of the DVD players did not work; but so what. We had DirecTV, a video library that was kid friendly, and a lot to do in the area. The water in the cabin tasted a bit salty for our liking because it was well water. This was no big deal because we had already brought bottled water. Considering what we paid for 6 people, we got our money's worth and a whole lot more. The location was excellent. We were not right in the middle of it all with all of the noise and crowd. It was quiet and peaceful, but we were still 4 miles from WalMart and less than 30 minutes from Dollywood or Dixie Stampede (depending on traffic). Again, if you are reasonable, you will easily see that this is a tremendous overall value. No, it was not as nice as Opryland Hotel or some luxurious, world reknowned hot spot. It was a truly excellent cabin with an outstanding view and worth about twice what we paid. We are looking forward to our next trip!

This is by far the best cabin I've stayed at. The views are amazing! It was nice to wake up and walk out of our bedroom and see endless mountaing. I've been coming here for 21 years and have never seen a view like this at other cabins. It was quiet and peaceful. Stormed pretty good 2 days, but also nice to sit out on the porch and watch the rain. This was my boyfriend's first visit to the Smokies and he LOVED it! He's already making plans to come back here. Thanks again for making our stay enjoyable at Beau Voir! It's just what we needed!

As I scowered the internet looking at hundreds of cabins I just kept coming back to this one. So when I booked for this past weekend I was totally excited:) When I got there I was blown away. This cabin is everything you want ans more..the view is amazing!! And while visiting my husband talked to several people that were staying in other more expensive cabins ($600+/night) and theirs doesnt even come close to this one! The cabin was well maintained, beautifully decorated, and clean as a whistle:) Couldnt ask for a better place. The view from the hot tub is breathtaking. Anything you need to prepare a meal from sandwiches to a juicy Ribeye is there. NO need to look any further for a cabin. You have found the one to rent.....now hurry before I book your dates:) We will definatley be back...maybe even bring the kids!!

This is the best cabin you can rent! We were tired of looking through all of the websites and pictures, but we struck gold with this one. Sheila is very easy to deal with. The cabin was spotless and very well decorated. Lots of cute touches! It snowed one night and we had no problem getting up and down the hills because the snow did not stick on the roads. The view (you are almost to the top) is just incredible and with snow it was perfect. We would think the fall look here is stunning. Will definitely stay here again!

We had a great time staying at Beau Voir! The views were BREATH TAKING!!!! Cabin was very beautiful and tastefully decorated.Easy to find, close to main attractions, shopping and great food! Hot tub was good, however it would not fit more than three people comfortably. Thanks for Sharing Beau Voir!
Owner response:I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at Beau Voir! We were happy to have you! Since the cabin has 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and one with a queen size bed, and additionally, has a queen size sleeper sofa, we feel there is ample room for 6 people. There are also 2 bathrooms, seating at the table for 6 people in this almost 2000 sq. ft. cabin. I'm sorry that you did not feel comfortable with your amount of people. I hope you will consider us again in the future! Once again, we were happy to have you!!!! Thanks for leaving the cabin so clean!!!!! We appreciate you!!!!

The cabin is an all around great spot to spend a vacation. The pictures don't do the cabin justice. The views are amazing for how little one has to travel off the parkway. The location is close to everything in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg isn't much further down the road. Our family enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Thanks for having us!

What an amazing getaway! As a group of four friends in our twenties, we decided to get a cabin for the first time rather than doing another hotel--what a great choice that turned out to be. Not only is the the price very reasonable but the amenities of this cabin really make it perfect. We cooked all our meals (everything we needed was in the cabin) and spent half of our vacation enjoying the cabin...the hot tub was great but we just really enjoyed the seclusion and privacy to sit by the fire and catch up on old times, play board games, and enjoy each others company. Cabin was decor was really great and set a great ambiance for the trip. We had such an amazing time and the cabin played a major role in the success of out trip. One of advice, follow the alternate directions Sheila sends in the email...we were able to into Pigeon Forge in 6-7 minutes using those. Great trip, great cabin, great memories!!!

We stayed at Beau Voir November 12-14, 2010. The cabin is wonderful! I can't imagine that we could have found a place with better views!. I liked dealing directly with the owner and not a management company. The photos posted for this cabin are accurate. While looking for a cabin, I noticed many listings had the same stock photos (views, hot tub, etc.) for every cabin within the development but not this one. The pictures don't really do this one justice...you can see for miles off the deck! Sheila was very helpful during the booking process, answering all my questions and making suggestions for the area. We were there to attend a Vols game on Saturday. Getting to the stadium was very easy and took less than 30 minutes. It was also very convenient to go into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Other things to note: We cooked two breakfasts and one dinner at the cabin and had all the cookware, dishes and utensils we needed plus some spices, oil, etc. The grill is charcoal, not gas, but we investigated that before going to store so picked up a small bag of charcoal. Internet and cell coverage were fine. There were 2-3 other cabins within sight but we never saw people and could not hear others so the privacy was great. (In some places we passed the cabins were side by side with no privacy.) The hot tub was clean and comfortable for four people. There were more than plenty of towels, wash rags, sheets and pillows. The road and driveway were steep and curvy but for a view like that you have to go up, up up! Again, great cabin that I would highly recommend! If we go back to the area, we will definitely rent this one again. Thank you Sheila for making the cabin such a comfortable and unique place to stay!

We stayed 10-26 thru 10-29-2010 The cabin was perfect for two age 55+ couples and had everything we needed. We always rent a cabin with a pool table but this year the guys never touched it, the tv was turned on for game 1 & game 2 of the World Series Wed/Thurs night - go Giants! Cell service was available but all 4 phones were turned off . We wanted to get away.. We sat on the porch for hours talking & eating way too much. The hot tub was perfect for our tired bodies. I think the brothers revisited every year of their childhood! We are not into outlet mall shopping so we spent our day light hours at Cades Cove, the Arts & Crafts Community shops and driving the beautiful back roads exploring. We saw some amazing scenery and fall colors. Wait until you see the cabin! Every time you look around you discover another unique piece - woodpecker, painted dinnerware, the Indian head - way too many things to list.. The owners created a cozy, peaceful place for us to recoup from our very busy lives. We love the fact the cabin is pet free and smoke free. We love our dogs but they can stay home..Thank you for allowing us into your home. - We had a wonderful time and hope to return again.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness and beauty of this cabin. It was decorated so cute for the fall. We enjoyed waking up in the morning to find such a gorgeous sunrise view from the back deck looking over the mountains. It was very close to everything in Pigeon Forge but far enough away to be very quiet and peaceful. We would recommend this to everyone. It is nice to know that there is such a caring owner that loves to share the beauty of their property!

We stayed at this cabin over the Labor Day weekend and LOVED everything about this cabin. The pictures do NOT due this rental justice, but that is only because you can't see all of its wonderful features in just one picture. This cabin was better than 99% of the other cabin rentals we saw on our trip. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance of this cabin. It is truly WONDERFUL! The cabin felt very secluded and intimate without being far away from town. The views from the cabin are truly spectacular and breathtaking. We used the kitchen to cook most of our meals and found everything we needed. There were LOTS of cooking utensils, pots, pans, bowls, kitchen aids and even coffee filters! Even the hot tub was JUST right for our group of 4. Some in our group mentioned that this was the best cabin they have EVER stayed in while visiting the Smokies. We had a wonderful time and plan to use this cabin again if we ever return to the Smokies. Sheila went out of her way to make things so easy. Her directions were fabulous and she even emailed us some great ideas of things to do while visiting. Thank you for a wonderful time and an incredible rental!

When we arrived at Beau Voir we found it to be as described in the VRBO listing. It was clean. Everything worked (although we didn't use the fireplace because it was the last week of July and way too hot for a fire). With evening temps getting down to 78 degrees, we were thankful that the cabin had central air conditioning! The views from the cabin are truly spectacular too! The photos in the listing come close but can't quite do it justice. We had a couple of encounters with the resident racoon and saw squirrels and rabbits too. My favorite though was the eagle circling the mountainside on a couple of different mornings. We heard him screeching before we saw him! Beau Voir is 3 - 4 miles out of town so it is quiet but it is accessible from a couple different side roads so you can get into town in 10 minutes or less AND avoid the ridiculous crush of tourist traffic on the "Parkway" (TN Highway 73). It is also fairly close to the Lyon Springs entrance to the Smoky Mountain Park so you can avoid going through Gatlinburg to enter the park. This makes it a good base for day trips into the park. The only drawback for us was the cabin's Audio/Visual/Internet capabilities. It has satellite TV service but is the basic channel lineup. There are no premium movies channels (HBO, Showtime, etc.) or premium sports channels. We brought our Wii with us so the games helped to distract the kids a bit but, unfortunately, the cabin's internet service was not robust enough to operate the Wii's Netflicks application. If you want to relax in the evening with a unedited, commercial free movie, bring DVDs (not Blu-ray discs). All that being said, this cabin was still a great deal and we were definitely happy/satisfied with this rental. I'd stay here again if I was in the region and recommend it to family/friends without hesitation. Sheila was very friendly, responsive, and helpful. She made the rental process easy and hassle-free. Thanks for a great stay! If you're considering Beau Voir, go for it!

I saw wild turkeys, kitty cats and yes, we had a visit from Chester. He took one look at us and ran down the steps! Ha! He was the biggest coon I had ever seen. Everything was perfect. How we found such a secluded, beautiful cabin still amazes us! So, we want to thank you for this wonderful experience that we all shared together. Loved the steep hill while climbing up to your cabin! Then we walked inside cabin and we thought that it was just gorgeous! We wanted a mountain view and we were in "awe". Just loved it! Sheila was great to work with us and help us out with any concerns we had. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a great vacation get away. My favorite show was the Memories Theater. We are looking forward to a return trip and another stay in this cabin. Thanks Again! P.S. Taken from cabin guestbook: What a wonderfully designed cabin to see God's handiwork! The weather this weekend was perfect - warm during the day and cool enough at night to enjoy the fireplace. We loved the rustic feel of the cabin. No complaints from this end!

We had a great time. Love the cabin and love the wonderful view even more! It's secluded, but stil not too far out. The "coon" was a cute touch. We will be back!

This was a beautiful way to start the fall season. We shared this beautiful cabin with wonderful family and friends. The views from inside were awesome! We barely felt the need to venture far. The hot tub was a luxury, even with the 40 degree temps! Thank you for having this lovely cabin available. We hope to come back again soon!

*From cabin guestbook: We loved the cabin! This cabin was the most perfect honeymoon that I could have ever imagined! I couldn't say anything negative about this place. We have decided to try to get to come back for every anniversary to come. Thank you so much for the memories!
