  My family really enjoyed this condo right off of the slopes. It's tough to go back once you are spoiled with true ski-in/ski-out experience like this. The location is absolutely perfect and has a great view of the slopes and village. The private ski lockers save hauling equipment up to the room and back all the time. The hot tubs, while not private, are still a great way to unwind from a day on the slopes and were a quick (indoor) walk away. "Downtown" Winter Park and the town of Fraser are only 5-15 min drive away and have plenty of choices for eating out (which is what we did in the evenings). Contrary to the first review, we thought the beds were more comfortable than expected and sheets (& towels) were much more like home than a hotel. Additionally, the owner was really helpful prior to our visit and answered all our questions and helped make our stay convenient. I would certainly recommend this condo to any friends/family visiting. The only real inconvenience I think you may find is when four people are trying to make sandwiches all at once for lunch in the fairly small kitchen. If counter space is your biggest problem while visiting, then you've done well.

  We rented this condo the end of January 2012 for three nights. Everything about this unit was great! Excellent location, great ammenities, very well maintained, great view of the village and slopes; just the perfect two bedroom condo for a great skiing vacation. Teresa is a great host, she is available to answer all of the questions that you might have. All things considered it is a great place to stay while skiing in Winter Park. Highly recommended!!!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

• Nice condo

  I rented this unit for spring break in 2011 and thought the unit was far from a one star review. I do not agree with the previous review. I have stayed in several different units at Zephyr over the years. I thought this unit was as advertised and in good condition. I would rent this unit again.

  This unit is in a good location in terms of being close to the ski lift but the description on this website is not accurate. The unit is very worn and needs updating. The carpet is in terrible condition; there are many stains. The sofa is old. The blankets on the bed seemed as though they had not been washed in a very long time. It was also very noisy. This condo is right above the outdoor gas fire pit where people congregate until late in the evening. Although we will return to Winter Park, I would not rent this unit in the future.

  Owner response: What this renter is failing to mention is that she called me telling me she had to return to Chicago a day early & she wanted her $ back for that day. Our rental contract states we do not refund in these situations & we do encourage renters to purchase travel insurance for these exact reasons. The Pictures of our condo are real & show the great location of the condo. Our condo is in a great location & well maintained & cleaned after every visit.
