Why the Owner Chose Winter Star
Our whole family enjoys the mountains. Winter Park is one of the least commercialized resorts. My wife and I have 2 sons - Alex is almost 7, Luke is almost 3. Alex has Cystic Fibrosis, a disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. We are donating a percentage of all rentals to fund CF research.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The views of the mountains are wonderful. This, combined with the convenience of nearby shops and restaurants makes for a stress free trip every time. Our place is truly a second home and is furnished and maintained as if we were living there full time. A gourmet kitchen open to the living space provides a wonderful setting to entertain friends and family.

We live in Omaha, Nebraska. Love to ski, fish, read, travel and cook. I grew up in Western Nebraska and learned to ski at Winter Park when I was about 5 years old. My wife went to school at Colorado State University and fell in love with the mountains.

Great Place to Stay in Winter Park Area!

This condo was very comfortable for 3 adult couples for our weeklong stay. We spend a week in Winter Park every year skiing and snowmobiling. This was our first stay in this condo, but we have stayed in another condo in this complex. It is a great location for getting to Winter Park for downhill skiing or Devil's Thumb Ranch for cross-country skiing. If you bring your own snowmobiles, there are several trailheads nearby where you can park your vehicle and trailer, and access some fantastic trails. Each couple had our own bedrooms and bathrooms, so there was a sense of privacy. There was amble space in the main level dining room and living room for all of us to be together without feeling cramped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. There is a large Safeway grocery store very nearby, so cooking was an easy option to save money. We used the in-ground hot tub every day after skiing and snowmobiling. The tub is about 150 feet directly out the front door. Since it is a community hot tub, it is well maintained and always ready to use. At other condos, we've had mixed success with the maintenance of private hot-tubs, so I really like the community hot tub. The condo itself was clean and well-maintained. It was quiet and there weren't many people around the complex. It had wireless Internet service with a fast 20Mbs connection. We easily had 4 laptops using the Internet with great speed. The owner was extremely responsive, before, during, and after the rental. He seemed genuinely interested in us having a good experience in the condo, and was accommodating in many ways. As an experienced VRBO user, I'd highly recommend this unit.

Our family has stayed her twice. This is a very clean and comfortable condo, tastefully decorated . A beautiful open layout, large dining room table, large master bedrooms with very comfortable beds, 4 bathrooms(a huge plus), and bunk room for the kids/ teenagers. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook a meal. Hot tub close by, as well as quick access to trails, shopping and grocery store. I have already recommended this property to friends. It is obvious this property is well maintained.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
