LOCATION:
Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is a 3 hour drive west from Calgary on the Trans Canada Highway that winds through the Rocky Mountains. Along the highway, you will pass through Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise and Field. It is located 15 minutes up from Golden BC.
ACCESS TO RESORT AMENITIES:
Day lodge and gondola, restaurants, shopping, general store 5 min walk away. Golf, skiing, white water rafting, heli-skiing, horse back riding, hiking, mountain biking in the area. Cross country skiing trails located directly behind home. Many other surrounding golf courses within a 1.5 hour drive. Cross country skiing is accessible right out the back door of the Chalet - 20 km of maintained trails at the Dawn Mountain Nordic Ski Area!

Master Bedroom: 1 King Bed (sleeps 2).Large master bedroom has great views of the mountains through 3 windows. The room has a custom hand built furniture package including a sleigh king bed, built-in armoire, and chest. Adjoining en suite features an impressive double shower with slate tile surround, double shower heads and body jets.
Bedroom: 1 King Bed (sleeps 2).Second floor bedroom features great views of the mountains and a custom hand built furniture set similar to the one in the master bedroom. The adjacent bathroom has a tub and double shower with body jets and is slate tiled throughout.
Bedroom: 1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2).Lower level third bedroom features an armoire, heated flooring, and an adjacent bathroom. The bathroom has a tub and shower with body jets and is slate tiled throughout.
Loft: 1 Queen Hide-A-Bed/Sofa Bed (sleeps 2).Massive loft overlooking great room offers a great view of the mountains through two large windows. The room has a gas fireplace and an entertainment system including plasma TV and satellite. The room offers adequate privacy and is adjacent to the upstairs bathroom.
Alcove: 1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2).This bed is located in the lower level and is a complete bedroom however there is no wall to separate from the rest of the home.
BATHROOMS:
Bathroom 1- has toilet, shower and one basin. Located off the deck for use after the hot tub, and located on the main floor for use of guests
Bathroom 2 - has toilet, bathtub, shower and one basin. Located on second floor, slate enclosed soaker tub.
Bathroom 3 - is an en suite and has toilet, shower and one basin. Slate enclosed large stand up stall with glass door, and has a double headed shower plus 4 spray jets to make an amazing experience.
Bathroom 4 -has toilet, bathtub, shower and one basin. Lower floor slate surround soaker tub.

We just returned from this chalet and we LOVED it!!! There were 3 families that fit very comfortably and the skiing was awesome. It was great to stay so close to the mountain, ski all day and relax in the hot tub and hear the fireplace crackling. We are hoping to make it an annual event! Thanks so much!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
