Welcome to Blackberry Mews! A thick blackberry bramble creates a natural, private border on one side of the property, which produces delicious berries for you to enjoy. Our house offers a cozy retreat after an activity packed day in Port Townsend.
Watch the deer and birds from the sun filled dining room. The dining room looks out on the lush grass and the bramble on one side and has a small deck on the other. With two couches plus a chair in the living room there is plenty of comfortable seating, where you can enjoy the warmth of the propane stove. Both bedrooms have closets and dressers to help you feel settled in. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and both bathrooms include a shower and bathtub. There is a separate laundry room. Being that the house is on one level, it is convenient for everyone.
Our home is family friendly and the yard is large enough for young ones to stretch their legs! We have a wooden swing set and other chairs so you can take in the beautiful PT weather. The yard offers shade and sun.
We are centrally located in Port Townsend. Within a 5 minute drive you can be downtown, Uptown, at the beaches, Ft. Worden, QFC, Safeway or the Co-op. A golf course is about a 2 minute drive away! We are also very close to the bus line, which provides transportation to all the above locations. Of course, you could also opt to walk to these locations! Nothing is too far. During the summer there is a drive-in movie about 10 minutes outside town! Enjoy the Olympic National Park during the day, which is about an hour away, and then return to Port Townsend for the fun nightlife!

Owner Description
We live on the East Coast and enjoy spending time in Port Townsend. I am a falconer, which is why the house has the name Blackberry Mews. When we visit the house the falcons come too! Not to worry though, they stay in their own "house" in the yard!
Why the Owner Chose Port Townsend
We bought this house because we love Port Townsend, the lifestyle it offers and the mild weather. We enjoy the live music events and the Wooden Boat festival. Mostly, we purchased this house to be closer to our children and grandchildren who live in Port Townsend.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We really enjoy the location of the house. We walk to town or the Co-op for lunch and then meander around the Boat Haven. We also enjoy riding the bus with our young grandchildren. Our home on the East Coast is on two levels and so we enjoy coming to this property for its convenient layout.
