Interested in getting away to a more gentle climate for the long winter months! Can rent as 2 bedroom 1 bath OR 3 bedroom 3.5 bath unit from January through March.
Home is located in a Gated Oceanfront Resort Community and is a Short Walk/Golf Cart Ride (4 minute ride thru gated community to private beach parking that includes a wonderful restaurant, facilities and showers) to the best stretch of beach along the Grand Strand/Myrtle Beach Area. The Conch restaurant on the beach offers good food and outdoor dining overlooking the ocean.
The gated community offers many amenities including: 24 hour patrolled security, indoor/outdoor/kiddie pools, lighted tennis courts, sand volleyball court, basketball courts, softball/baseball field, playground, and fitness center ($). In addition, Tupelo Bay (located directly across Business 17 from the gated community) was built as a premier short game golf facility and offers a lighted 18-hole Executive Course with enough distance, sand and water to challenge even the most experienced golfer while not intimidating the beginner; an award winning driving range and "pitch and putt" Par 3 Course. It also offers a full service Clubhouse/Snack Bar and Pro Shops. Fun for the entire Family!
This beach home offers 5 bedrooms & 4.5 Bathrooms and sleeps 16 - up to 20. Includes:
* 3 Master Bedroom Suites - 2 with King beds and 1 with a Queen and daybed w/pop-up trundle (can be used as 2 Twins or a King)
* 1 Queen/Twin bedroom
* 1 "Family Suite" that offers a Full Bed and a Double with a single bunk on top.
There are 2 sofa sleepers one in each of the upper and lower living areas for sleeping up to a total of 4 people. A Pac N Play w/sheet, Play Pen, Stroller, Booster seat with tray and Car Seat are available upon request.
LINENS PROVIDED (IN High/Summer Season) include Bed Sheets, Pillows, Pillow Cases, Bath & Kitchen Towels and Beach Towels. Hair dryers provided.
GOLF CARTS (2) In summer season and BICYCLES (6) provided.
HD LCD TV's (52" upper level and 42" lower level) and a flat screen TV in each bedroom (2 with internal DVD's).
WIRELESS INTERNET PROVIDED (pass word protected)
BEACH: The Beach is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, windsurfing, surfboarding, surf fishing, shelling. You can walk 1.5 miles to the North and/or South to the Surfside and Garden City Piers - that offer fishing, lounge and entertainment.
FISHING: If the surf and pier fishing does not provide enough adventure, you can drive a few miles south to Murrells Inlet for deep sea fishing. In addition, Murrells Inlet is the seafood capital of South Carolina and features many restaurants with outdoor dining along the water and entertainment.
SHOPPING: Coastal Grand Mall, Inlet Square Mall, Tanger Outlet Stores, Barefoot Landing, 2 Large Indoor Flea Markets.
ENTERTAINMENT/RESTAURANTS: LEGENDS in Concert is only a 5 minute drive to see famous Impersonators (eg. The Blues Brothers, Elvis, Madonna, Garth Brooks, Tina Turner, and many more). Carolina Opry is one of the greatest country music shows produced. House of Blues offers top music artists. Theaters: Alabama Theatre offer top entertainers LIVE; catch a Broadway show at The Palace Theatre and Knights Jousting at Medieval Times Theatre. My home is toward the back part of the gated community. I provide 2 golf carts to get back and forth from the house to the beach - about a 4 minute golf cart ride down through the gated community. Park in the private beach parking area and walk right onto the beach.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
This gated community offers a sense of security, with close/easy access to the beach (including private beach parking) while offering access to many different types of activities if I choose to participate. It is also located just far enough south away from the overly congested areas. The climate offers a longer golf season than I can enjoy at home with access to many great golf courses. The area offers something for everyone.
The Unique Benefits at this House
I have the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing quiet getaway (reading a good book at the beach house or on the beach). I can stay in shape (walking the beach and/or gated community), enjoy a round of golf, shopping, fine foods and entertainment all close by or within minutes driving.

I have lived all my life in Western Pennsylvania. I am an avid sports fan (Pittsburgh fan) and enjoy most outdoor activities. I walk, play golf, enjoy boating, snow ski, fish, etc. I also enjoy quiet time just reading a good book. I have dreamed of owning a beach home from the first time I vacationed at a beach resort on the east coast.

We enjoyed the stay in your home. It truly was our home away from home. It has everything you could think of! The golf carts and bikes were a big hit. The home was big enough for our 13 to get together and yet offer privacy too. Great for family gatherings!! Andrea was very attentive to any problems we had.

Andrea, Just wanted to say thanks again for such a wonderful vacation. Your home is beautiful and it was the perfect size for our family of 12. Everyone had their own space. The grandchildren loved riding in the golf carts and sitting in the rocking chairs with their Pawpaw on the front porch. It was nice to be so close to the beach, have access to two pools, and other attractions. Our 6 yr old grandson loved that the mini golf course was just across the road. He got to go more than once. Hope we can do it again in a couple of years, only with more grandchildren. Jona

Our thanks to Andrea for providing a comfortable, clean, fully stocked home for our summer vacation this year. This was our second trip to this gated community and the stay was just as awesome as the first. Andrea was very accommodating and accessible before, during, and after our stay. We had a minor issue with our golf cart but was taken care of right away and resolved. We had 14 people in our group...four families and four children between the ages of 4-9 and not once did we feel cramped as each family had their own space and privacy. The golf carts were absolutely the hit of the week. Whenever the kids got bored it was an easy deal to throw them in the carts and drive. The beach access was easy with ample parking for all golf carts or motor vehicle. The Conch Cafe is situated right next to the parking lot and provides casual dining on the ocean front. The pictures do not lie as this home is beautifully decorated and well taken care of. Looking forward to our next stay at Surfside Beach! Thanks Again!

Even the description and photos get short as to what nice, clean, fully furnished and comfortable this house is! We have been to many different beach houses over the years and this, by far is the best! The owner was very helpful and easy to get in touch with for any problems. We will definitely reccomend this one to any very good friend and relatives but not too much because it will be booked all the time and...no way...we want to get back..sooooooon!! Thanks for sharing your place with us..we will get in touch soon!

We just want to thank Andrea for providing such a wonderful place for our family vacation this year. We were a family of 14 with lots of different needs and opinions but this place suited all. The pictures in the listing are true to life and the owner was perfectly accommodating. The house was beautiful and clean and the only thing missing was a bundt pan! LOL! Who bakes on vacation anyway? We really loved riding the bikes and driving the golf carts. The smallest of the group was our official 'speed bump' announcer (in order to prevent rear cart passengers from too many surprise bumps.) The community beach access was great and even has a casual oceanside restaurant with open air dining and great frozen beverages! Loved it! Thanks for many great memories! - The Oakley Family

My family and I had a great time at Surfside beach. The home was very clean and came with everything we needed. Owner was very helpful and responded to the many questions I had. The community had everything we needed. Pools were great. Lots of stores close by, and plenty of good places to eat. Would definitly stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home. Andrea supplied everything a family needs to vacation down to a high chair and baby gates. All we needed to do was pack our clothes and do a little grocery shopping. The details of amenities were very straight forward and the home exceeded our expectations. Having 2 kitchens was very helpful when cooking for our party of 12 - (5 adults, 7 kids). We had to contact Andrea for a couple of things and she was always quick to answer and provide help when needed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and I would definitely recommend this home to others. Thanks again Andrea for everything.
