The newly built apartment is over a garage BUT don't let this fool you. The entrance is private, with your own separate parking/drive way. The 800 square foot apartment can compete with any HGTV design show. The beautiful oak stairs are wide and provide a gradual access into the apartment.
When you enter the apartment there is a coat closet with plenty of room for jackets and shoes. (Also has an iron, ironing board, broom, and dustpan). The stainless steel stove, frig, and dishwasher are accented by the rich, terratine tiled kitchen floor.
The kitchen is complete, including all the supplies you need for a Maine lobster feed. The kitchen opens to the oak floored, living room. The pleasing colors, wooded views, leather couch and 32" flat screen TV provide the perfect spot to relax and unwind.
Three very unique, domed sky lights provide both natural and electrical lighting in the kitchen and living room. The white tiled bathroom has a white, geranium, and light purple tiled shower. The washer and dryer are located in this room-providing you with more time to recreate and less time spent at the laundry mat.
The rest of the apartment has wall to wall rug, quieting the small hallway, office, and bedroom. The bedroom has a large bureau and closet so you can unpack and access all of your clothing. A shared door between the office and bedroom makes the office a perfect place for children or other guests to stay.
The office has a sleep sofa, skylight, and computer desk.
One of the more beautiful fresh water spots to swim, Somes Pond, is just a 5 minute walk or 3 minute bike ride away. This is also a great place to kayak. The rest of Acadia National Park is literally at your fingertips, offering an endless choice of outdoor activities.
The restaurants are bountiful and varied. Lastly, each village/town on Mount Desert Island offers something a little bit different. For example, Bar Harbor offers lots of shopping, dining, night life, and tours.
The quiet side of the island, Southwest Harbor, offers fishing, dining, a museum, and a different attitude.
All in all, this rental offers all of this to you at an affordable price!

Month of June-weekly rate is $600 a week
Month of July-weekly rate is $700 a week
Month of August-weekly rate is $800 a week
A non-refundable deposit of %50 of the weekly rate must be paid at the
time of the rental agreement, the remaining balance is due when the
apartment is occupied
