Great place for long fall weekend

We just got home from spending Thanksgiving in this unique and fun house and have nothing but good things to say about the home- and the owners. There is plenty of room to spread out and relax as well as a fully stocked kitchen to prepare pretty much anything you may want to make. The beds are very comfortable, as many others have stated. The location was also really good for this time of year- kind of midway between seawall attractions and the Strand. We walked to the beach every morning and still had time to adventure in town. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Celebrated parents' 50th anniversary at Sunsaytional & Funsaytional! Great time!!

We celebrated my parents' 50th anniversary in Galveston and this house accommodated our entire extended family of 11. I will have to be honest, I was worried when driving up to the house because the neighborhood appeared run down; however, once we got inside and closed the door, it didn't matter where we were because the house is very charming!! The description was accurate and the decor was very beachy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We even grilled in the backyard one night. Loved that the owners have thought of everything...towels, soap, trash bags, laundry detergent, etc. It made it very nice to have a washer / dryer to be able to wash the beach clothes and swim suits. The owners were very accommodating and answered all of my many questions prior to visiting. I WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FRIENDS AND WOULD LOVE TO COME BACK MYSELF AGAIN VERY SOON!

Fun Place!

My family stayed here when my son got married. We rented the house and the carriage house. Both were wonderful. They are decorated so fun! It is within walking distance of many things, which we loved. I loved that we could all hang out and be together for this special weekend. The house easily accomodated all of us. I would recommend this property to anyone that wants to stay close to the beach and enjoy lots of close family time. I am so glad I found this property.

"Sunsaytional and Funsaytional" the BEST places to stay in Galveston!!

Wow, we couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay!!!! We have a very big family that came from different states on different dates. Our friends recommended this place to us and we are so glad that they did, it was PERFECT!!!!! Location, location, location we were in walking distance to everything! We could even hear the beautiful sounds of the ocean. Between the soothing sounds and the awesome mattresses I slept like a baby!! This home had every amentity that one could imagine. Loved all the extra towels, blankets and having a washer and dryer at our disposal. The decorating was gorgeous!!! The colors were so bright and beautiful it lifted my spirits and it was immaculate...cleaner than my home!!! The owners were wonderful to deal with and they were soooo accommodating! The price was right too. The kitchen had more bells and whistles in it than my own kitchen. The carriage house in the back was a lifesaver and it was just as beautifully decorated as the main home. Our kids had their own place to hang out in which allowed us adults to have even more peace and quiet. We loved relaxing on the front porch and visiting with the neighbors. Even got a few good "Texas" recipes. We will recommend this place to our friends and we plan on staying there this summer as well. So, please block our dates NOW!!!!!!! Thank you for making our MUCH needed vacation a slice of paradise!!!! Your new "Yankee" Friends!!!

We stayed here for a weekend and had a wonderful time. The place is decorated with bright, fun colors. We had a birthday party here for my daughter and her friends. They had loads of fun. The listing description and photos were accurate. The property was clean and well-maintained. The owner was very helpful in answering all my questions. I would recommend this property to a friend.

Madonna, me and my family had a wonderful time. Everything was beautiful, and very clean! The beds where very comfortable and you guys thought of everything one might need at a beach house, which was awesome!! (Ex: Beach Towels, beach hats, cooler, and lots more!!)
