Our cabin is located in a great area. Packed with opportunities for outdoor activities and/or chances to recharge if you want to get away for a quiet family weekend. You choose.
We have three bedrooms, one has a child's bed in it. Upstairs are two window seats that are the size of a twin bed. These cushions can be removed and slept on outside on the deck under the stars.
There are very few bugs. This large lot has several great places for a tent to be pitched, motorcycles, atv's and snowmobiles to be parked.
The living room and kitchen, are combined into one room. There are two sofas, two chairs and the window seats. There is an electronic dart game in the living room, and plenty of board games to play while watching a movie and waiting for the hot chocolate.
The bathroom upstairs has a sink, shower and toilet. The downstairs bathroom has a sink, toilet and w/d.
All bedrooms are downstairs, where it is cool, dark and quiet.
Come over enjoy our natural, beautiful and quiet setting and relax and play for a few days.

- Ski-In : During the winter months you may have to snowmobile, ski or walk less than 1/4 mile to the cabin. It is an easy walk, the road is groomed for snowmobiles, and is closed to vehicles once there is enough snow. Contact us for more info.

- During burn ban period we have an outdoor propane fireplace that can be used. WiFi is available at the Lodge Cell phones usually work at the cabin. Sleds are available for guest use. Folding chairs are available for guest use. There is a horseshoe pit on the property.

Year Purchased: 2006
Jim and his wife Shae, and Katy have spent a lot of time in the Cle Elum area. We are from Seattle, but go over whenever we can. This little cabin provided us with the opportunity to take our kids over, they range in age from 2 to 22. We were able to swim in the pool, hike, hunt, ride snow mobiles, atv's, go sledding, hang out by the fire and be with friends and family. Katy's kids go up when they are in town from college with friends, Jim and Shae go up with their son as often as they can. Now, we find ourselves busy at work, and school and not able to use the cabin as much.
Why the Owner Chose Cle Elum
Cle Elum has a lot to offer. There are restaurants, one of our favorite breakfast places is The Cottage, Pioneer coffee has great coffee. We use the John Wayne Trail for great walks along the Yakima river. We are very close to hunting and fishing. There are lots of hikes into the mountains of varying degrees of difficulty. The area where you will be staying, also offers swimming at the pool. Use your motorcycles and atv's during the summer on the mountain roads and trails, and enjoy miles and miles of groomed snowmobile or skiing trails during the winter. Our piece of land is in the older part of the development, so it is quieter and more private. The lot we are on is larger than most. We are about an hour and 15 minutes from Seattle, so we can leave work and be over roasting hot dogs over the fire by 7 pm.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
Our area has a lot of fun activities should you want to participate in them. However, our property is quiet and private and if we do not want to participate we are not bothered by the noise of snowmobiles or atv's. We can come and go to Cle Elum for meals if we are tired of cooking, we have a propane bbq and propane outdoor firepit (you supply propane for this, a 5 pound container typical for a bbq, will burn for at least 5 hours) when there is a burn ban during the summer. There are places in Cle Elum where you can rent snowmobiles or atv's during your stay. The cabin is cozy in the evening, there are not many bugs at all, which is a wonderful benefit. During the warm days, you can sit in the sun or the shade and there is a nice breeze that blows through the cabin during the day should you want to escape from the heat. We frequently sleep outside on the deck and look at the stars, stay up late playing monopoly or watching a movie. It's great family time and a great place to recharge your batteries.
