What a wonderful, peaceful & homie cabin! Entering the cabin I was immediately enveloped in a warmth and relaxation feel. The view was spectacular - great idea to have the large sliding glass doors to view the mountains, trees, and of course the wildlife. The driveway was a tad challenging - g on the Fall-rainy day - with all the leaves on the incline - but I had a master-driver, whom did well. The master suite was 'sweet'. Love the area of the cabin - was close enough to drive to all attractions - away from the 'frantic business' and traffic - very peaceful and calm. Gatlinburg was 1 1/2 hours away - which time was unnoticable - as we were enjoying the beautiful drive through the mountains. Highly recommend Clingman's Dome (fall/winter bring your coats/gloves/hats) - snow and very cold at the top. Clingman's Dome is also on the way to Gatlinburg. Also, highly recommend the Cherokee Indian Nation museums and authentic shops (also on the way to Gatlinburg). Paul's restaurant - authentic Cherokee food - super staff! Would also recommend to shop and bring your groceries with you - the trek to-and-from grocery stores is not convenient (don't forget plenty of fire starter). There are fast-food restaurants in Bryson City - not far - cute town & shops. The 'locals' seemed a little confused about "breakfast" places lol. The 'locals' very friendly and nice. Recommend the FlapJack Pancake House in Gatlinburg - very good food and nice staff. We had such a wonderful time!!! Thank you for the sharing of your wonderful cabin - looking forward to another trip! Wish there was a place to 'share' pictures, for the review. :) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!! 5/5 stars!
