Everything We Wanted and Then Some!

If you're considering renting a condo at the lake you should look into this one. We (me, my husband, and our 10 month old daughter) rented for a week and loved every second of it. Every inch of the condo is newly remodeled and they did a fantastic job. The place was immaculately clean and good towels/sheets/tolietries were there waiting on us. There was also a card, flowers, and a bottle of wine waiting from Janet and Don. They even got us in contact with a pastor who came from Lynchburg to do our wedding vow renewal. Talk about going above and beyond! We could have paid more for this place and still been happy. The complex's pool was a big plus, too. There are two lakeside eateries within walking distance and lots of room to dock your boat if you own/rent one. You're four minutes from the State Park that has beach, walking trails, and more. There are several really good restaurants within five minutes by boat, some of which take you 40 minutes to get to by car. This was our first time visiting Smith Mountain Lake and we'll be back!

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.
