Chamonix is truly walking distance to Canyon Lodge, the most popular base lodge at Mammoth Mountain. The unit is located in Building "C" which is just steps to the recreation room and pool/jacuzzi area. This condo is south facing, light and bright, two levels on the top floor. The property is well maintained, with great snow removal in winter. There is an outdoor pool (summer only) 1 indoor and 2 outdoor Jacuzzis, sauna, and outside barbeque area with gas burning firepit in summer. The common area has a large recreation room with couches for reading or watching the flat screen TV. There is a pool table, ping pong table, and kitchen area in the recreation room. A business center with fax, computers, and internet access is available to guests, as well as a video game room for the kids. Washer and dryer located in the common area. WIFI is available is available in the condo.
The condo has a master bedroom with king bed, large upstairs loft with queen plus a queen/twin bunk-bed, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There is a TV with VCR/DVD in the living room, and TV's with VCR in both the master bedroom and the loft. The unit is equipped with cable TV. There is a wood burning fireplace in the living room, firewood is provided.

Why the Owner Chose Chamonix
Chamonix has one of the best locations in Mammoth. In winter, it is just about as close as you can get to "ski in, ski out". In summer, it is quiet, and has a great pool! It was my second home until I moved here permanently in 2006. I love the location, and that it is such a well maintained property.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The condo is warm and inviting. Having a "real" woodburning fireplace is a luxury! I love to be able to come home after a day on the Mountain and enjoy the Jacuzzi in wither. The recreation room is great if you have a big party-the kids can entertain themselves with the TV, pool table, and ping pong. One of my favorite things is to have a barbeque by the pool in the summer. The kitchen in the recreation room is so convenient, and after dinner you can sit by the fire pit.

I have enjoyed Mammoth for many years! I lived in LA and spent many weekends at the condo. Then I moved to Mammoth for 4 years and lived the life of a local! Now I live in San Francisco, and still plan to visit Mammoth with the new air service on United. I hope you enjoy our condo as much as I do!

We loved the Condo and the location.The condo was very clean, well equipped with everything that we needed. We brought our dogs who had a great time.The owners were a joy to work with. We will recommend this condo to all our friends, and we plan to stay there again in the future.

We loved the condo. It was very clean, well stocked and was decorated so you felt as if you were in a cabin, not a condo. The owners were great to work with, very nice people. We highly recommend this condo and plan to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay in Mammoth. This unit is clean, comfortable and has a very well equipped kitchen. The pool, jacuzzis and bar-b -que area is new. The recreation room is equipped with large screen tv, kitchen, sauna, bathroom and showers. Would definately return!

A great place to stay. Nice beds, Kitchen was well equipped, and the complex is very clean. Nice not having to wait for a bus or drive to the lifts.
