Totally remodeled, and newly re-furbished this home-away-from-home is an easy stroll to everything Delray Beach has to offer. We are located east of the Intracoastal Waterway … just 3 blocks from the beach, 2 blocks from bustling Atlantic Avenue and one half block from the Aquatic Center part of the Yatch Club of Delray Beach.
No car needed: we are located within a leisurely walk to Delray’s wide, white, sandy beach and deep blue waters to the hub of the downtown district. Atlantic Avenue is lined with restaurants, pubs, art galleries, trendy shops and boutiques, and we are just steps away. For those who want to go a little further a-field, take the free Downtown Roundabout Shuttle from the ocean to Pineapple Grove’s art district, library, museum, tennis center to the Tri Rail Station. Historic Delray Beach, “the village by the sea”, has a little something for everyone, offering festivals and outdoor events monthly … year round! A perfect setting for bicyclers with bike lanes all along the beach and most in-town streets. For a less physical workout take the luxury yacht, "Lady Atlantic", right from the dock at Atlantic Avenue for a picturesque, narrated boat ride along the Intracoastal Waterway.
Comfortably accommodates up to 8: we offer two master bedrooms suites, each with it’s own bath (one has a queen size bed with whirlpool jet tub/shower, and one with a king bed with shower bath); Florida room has twin day-beds, and a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room. Seats up to 10 for breakfast, lunch and dinner … 6 in the dining room, 4 in the breakfast nook. A charming apartment in a beautifully maintained 7-unit complex, on a quiet dead-end street with ample off-street parking.
Amenities: kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, service for 8+ with all the things necessary to enjoy those evenings at home. Cable connected wide screen LCD TV with DVD player, stereo, and DSL and/or wireless internet connection (both available). We also provide a hair dryer in each bathroom; portable, folding, beach chairs and beach towels. Each room has a whisper quiet ceiling fan for added comfort, good closets and plenty of storage. On site is a charcoal grill and washer/dryer.
For those who would like to explore neighboring areas you will be centrally located for an easy drive south to Las Olas Boulevard in Ft. Lauderdale (about 30-35 minutes) or north to Worth Avenue in Palm Beach (about 25-30 minutes) for a day of shopping or a night of entertainment. In between is the Boca Raton’s Town Center Mall (10 miles), Mizner Park (7 miles); Sawgrass Outlet Mall (west of Ft. Lauderdale, about 35 miles away); Clematis Street and City Place, both in West Palm Beach (each about 25 minutes).
