Steps away from the Campo Di Fiore, a block away from the main bus lines and St. Peter's, the Piazza Navona and the Trastevere all within walking distance. Yes, the shower is small and the steps provide a pretty good work out but it's a small prize to pay for this location. Eight wonderful days and this quiet sanctuary to return home to every night - Grazie!

My husband & I stayed for 5 nights at this apartment in mid-May 2011. The building and the apartment are old - but hey - what ISN'T old in Rome? The apt does look like the pictures and it is attractive overall. We had plenty of room and the location is perfect for all the sightseeing you could want! Our check-in was easy and efficient. The wireless internet worked great, and was a lifesaver.... We had to look up how to use the washing machine. :) The only thing that was a downside about this apt was the shower is really small. It was tight for me and my husband, and we are both about 5'8" and not very big... It was workable though - and the water pressure was great. All in all, this apartment was a good value, and I would recommend to others.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in the apartment in late June. There was lots of room and the air conditioning (only in the bedroom) worked great. From the apartment we walked (easily) to The Vatican, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi, Spanish Steps... and Campo di Fiori (my favorite) was just a few blocks at the end of the street. We would recommend this apartment and if we're ever in Rome again I would stay there.

My sixteen year old daughter and I stayed at this apartment for a week in mid June. We had a wonderful time! The location was fantastic and the apartment more spacious than I thought it would be. Yes, the shower was small but we coped. The washing machine was an added bonus as I hang my "Roman style" laundry out of the window to dry. We had a slight problem with the electricity but it was dealt with very quickly and didn't disrupt our trip. The apartment is within easy walking distance of many of the main sites and there are buses that run from the main street a few yards away. All in all we had an unforgettable time and the added bonus was that we felt that we actually were honorary Romans for a week.

Great Location - Bohemian Apartment

We stayed for 7 nights in April and loved the location! This is really old-style Rome living. Yes, the shower is small. It's 4 flights up but that meant I burned a few extra calories every day. The atmosphere is very bohemian. The apartment is really spacious, beds are comfortable, plenty of pillows, excellent internet service. This apartment is all about the location and VALUE, and feeling like a Roman. It was very clean and Irina, the greeter was very pleasant. We didn't have any problems so no need to call her during our stay. If you are a high maintenance customer then this might not be the place for you, but if you can appreciate an old building with a lot of character and want an excellent location and plenty of space (we were 3) then I highly recommend it. We could have spent all 7 days within a few blocks of the apartment and been completely satisfied with restaurants, drinks, groceries, etc. This was our first VRBO experience and everything went well! Thank you!

I stayed in this apartment for 4 nights (may 2011). The location is perfect but the apartment is very old. The shower drain was clogged, the little eletric oven was broken, several utensils and plates were dirty, so we had to wash everything before using it, the cleaning was not good, and it was very noisy during night (there was loud music 3/4 nights).
Owner response:If Desiree had called about the oven,we would have replaced it immediately(there is a new oven right now).As far the music, the owner I asked about and who lives on the second floor , said there has been music going on only on Friday night and not so loud as she sleeps right above the pub where they had this party.( the bedroom in the apartment looks onto the inner courtyard and not on the street.).The shower drain is working fine and I asked Irina to check better the pots and plates(by the way they left a very dirty kitchen, did not wash plates and pans and did not dispose the garbage).

My wife and I stayed in this apartment for a week in late October, 2010. We took a cab from the airport because we arrived in town late - our contact person was accommodating despite the late hour and met us there to give us the keys and familiarize us with the apartment. Three flights up with luggage was quite a hump, but we got used to the stairs quickly. The apartment is in a great location, very near Campo di Fiore, which has wonderful open air markets during the day and plenty of shops, restaurants and other attractions to carry a visitor through to bedtime. At the same time, the apartment building is quiet and we didn't notice much outside noise. It's possible to walk from the apartment to most of old Rome, but for the less energetic bus transportation is convenient, with a stop just a couple blocks away. The apartment is advertised as having wireless internet (WiFi), which came by way of a plug-in USB device - fine for our netbook, but not useful for our Droid or Itouch. The apartment is comfortable and clean. One complaint is that the shower is uncomfortably small (probably less than 24" square - don't drop the soap!). Even with the tight showers, though, I'd go back.

We stayed at this apartment for three nights this month and really enjoyed it. It is not close to the metro, but we took a small shuttle bus from the airport and they dropped us off at the door for $15 a person. We were not familiar with Rome, but were extremely pleased with the location of this apartment near Campo Di Fiori and Piazza Navona. The apartment was well maintained and we were met promptly at the time we had arranged to check in. There are many great restaurants in the area. We walked everywhere from this apartment including the Vatican and the Colosseum (long walks) and the Spanish Steps and across the river into Trastevere for dinner. We would recommend this apartment to friends/family and would stay here again.
