We love this part of the vineyard because it feels rural yet is close to everything, the shopping, airport, restaurants, and beaches. It is only a mile and a half from the Trustees of Reservations property which includes Longpoint Beach.

My husband Adam grew up spending summers on Martha's Vineyard. He loved it so much and wanted us to have a place here for ourselves, and to rent out. I met Adam the summer of 1994 while working at a restaurant in Aquinnah, before my last year of college. We fell in love, got married, and have a family now. We had a spectacular time at Longpoint Escape! We rode out Hurricane Earl & enjoyed the big surf that was a prelude to Earl. Longpoint beach & pond are one of the best places on the island! Helga & Adam think of "everything" & we love this house! We can't wait until next year - 2011!! Menemsha sunset is NOT to be missed! Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Longpoint Escape! You have thought of everything necessary for a great vacation! Your property is perfectly thought out and well planned. We enjoyed Longpoint beach, went to South beach, kayaked, enjoyed visiting each unique town on MV, and rested at the house. We dined at Lure - excellent food and took the complimentary water taxi to the restaurant which was delightful! We always love Sharky's Cantina, and tried the Art Cliff diner this year. the DVD's are such a nice touch! We look forward to returning next year!

When the world is pressing upon us, we are thankful for the rest your home provides. Your home remains teh focal point of our MV vacation. The weather was wonderful as was the new grill. And what a delight to watch movies on the comfy new sectional! Many thanks for allowing us to stay here. God willing, we will be at LPE in 2011.
