Fun theme cottage around "Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf". Everything to enjoy the good old day. Some vintage furniture and unique art, cozy hearts quilt, wood tic-tac-toe with bears vs moose, no whining sign all lend to the fun and family friendly atmosphere. As for a romantic get away, from candle-light over the antique table and chairs, wine glasses, quilts and four poster beds, all take you back to a quieter more relaxing time. Sit out on the back deck and watch the wild life or BBQ. Have your coffee on the balcony off of each upstairs bedroom. In the winter, go skiing, snowboarding at near by Bear Mountain or Summit ski area about 5 minutes away, or just build a snowman in the front yard. Summer is great for hiking in the National Forest that is within walking distance from the cabin. Swimming, fishing, boating are all available at the lake which is minutes away. But what ever you do...Relax, Relax, Relax.

Big Bear just has sooooo much to offer. The little village is quaint and charming, yet there is sophistication and elegance to be found if you like. The sporting opportunities are abundant, from boating, fishing, hiking, skiing, horseback riding, snowboarding, biking to shopping. Oh, did I include shopping as a sport! Well anyway, FUN for all.

I bought this cozy little cabin to have a great place to make family memories. I have three children an their spouses and grandchildren. We all love to pile in, winter and summer alike to enjoy all that Big Bear has to offer. We enjoy great lazy mornings on the deck, nice evenings around the fireplace, and fun times cooking together in the kitchen. Videos, board games, reading are also activities that create fun in this relaxing environment.

What else can I (we) say. This cabin was everything we expected and more. We have a Lil 20 month boy and seems that he loved just as much as we did. The description states everything that you will come across while staying here. Overall a marvelous vacation we endured. Grandma's house will deffinately be at the top of the list when we head back in February. Owner is a marvelous person to deal with. Thx again.

I love our family trips up to this little cottage. Playing games sitting by the fire or just relaxing reading a good book, the atmosphere is wonderful. It's away from the busyness of the town but close enough you can go into town whenever you want. We need to go back to relax again!
