WOW!!! What a wonderful month our family of 10 had at this great property. Hal and Patricia have furnished it with everything that you need for your vacation to be perfect. The weather was very hot but having the pool to cool you when outside and the a/c system to cool you when inside the house then the extreme temperature (114 degrees) was no problem. When not eating out at one of the great choice of restuarants in the area we were able to cook dinner for the whole family in the gourmet kitchen. We took a 3 day trip to Las Vegas (4 hour drive) and much as we enjoyed the experience it was lovely to get back ``home`` to the peace and quiet of Palm Desert and our Dolce house. If you are looking for a vacation that offers great accommodation,golf,restuarants,mountain views and wonderful weather then this is the place for you. MY FAMILY AND I HAD A GREAT WEEKEND AT THE DOMMANI HOUSE! THE HOUSE WAS FAMILY FRIENDLY. WE ENJOYED THE COMFORTABLE BEDS AND THE T.V.'S IN EACH ROOM. THE HOUSE WAS VERY CLEAN AND WELL-MAINTAINED. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO MY FRIENDS, TO STAY FOR 1 MONTH WOULD BE GREAT! TRULY THE PERFECT ENTERTAINMENT HOME!

great house with all the amenities you could ask for. Hal gives great instructions for everything so the stay was worry free. Also got the deposit back within a week. Only complaints were the 10am check out time, and the next door neighbor that is not happy that this house is a vacation rental and threatened to call the police if she heard any disturbances. Otherwise the pool was great and the kitchen had all the tools we needed to make some great meals. Our group was already planning a trip out next year to stay in this house again.

Owner response:10:00 am is the normal check out time and 2:00 pm is the normal check in time! It takes 3 girls 4 to 5 hours to clean and do all the washing of towels and bedding, make up all the beds and get that house ready for the next check in. I let this guest check in early because the last guest left on the 27th and house was ready with out a turn-around-clean. I always will extend the check in time and check out time if I don't have a turn-around-clean on either end. Pamela is right about the neighbor complaining. The HOA board has issued an order that we are to stop all rentals under 30 days. They are enforcing the CC&R's and I will no longer be able to rent under 30 days. I have changed the VRBO ad to monthly rentals only on this VRBO #252043 and on VRBO # 212751. I am sorry to all the wonderful people that have rented from us in the past. I have had nothing but 5 star ratings on this home since I started renting it in July of 2009!

Hal was awesome to deal with right from the start, we exchanged emails, he met us on site and explained everything to us in detail. He kept in touch with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The house had a great layout for six men (5 bedrooms and a loft), the pool, hot tub, and patio area were ideal. The double car garage was large enough to keep our motorcycles in at night. We would definetly stay here again if we are in the area. The Palm Desert area has alot to offer to a wide variety of people.

If you are looking for a comfortable and wonderful property to stay in, THIS IS IT! Our group has stayed in this house for two years and plan on doing so as long as we come out to Palm Springs on vacation to play golf. We have four couples and we couldn't be more comfortable during our 8 nights in this home! We have a gourmet kitchen, wonderful pool and jacuzzi, huge tv in living area, outdoor cooking kitchen and a gated community! The house is centrally located and easy to get to any golf course, grocery stores and restaurants in PS and area. The owner Hal is easy to work with and has become a friend! We always look forward to our trip and staying in this home.

Thanksgiving '10 stay

I couldn't speak more positively about our experience with Hal at this property. We had 10 family members housed at this property and there was plenty of room. The house is in superb shape, Hal outfitted it comprehensively with towels, linens, and all of the accountrements we would need. We took a leap of faith here as I knew nothing about Hal and the property beyond what I had searched on the internet- it well exceeded our expectations. The security deposit was returned immediately, and Hal even came over during our first night to fix the disposal that we had probably misused. Hal also extended himself to us in other ways- I had provided the wrong dates in the lease document thinking we were renting it from Tuesday-Satur instead of Monday - Friday; Hal had another renter lined up starting Friday; he went out of his way to rearrange the schedule so that we could stay, didn't charge us, and had the other tenant start on a different date- he didn't need to do this but he did anyway. Our family will rent from Hal again any time we visit the area- it was one of those great leap of faith experiences that could not have turned out better.

Immaculate property, tremendous sleeping accommodations with lots of privacy and plenty of bathrooms, wonderful group area and kitchen to congregate for a meal or to watch sporting events on huge tv, pleasant outdoor space for meals and relaxing. Landlord was a pleasure to work with. Convenient to shopping.

This home far exceeds the photos provided! Two families with four children total shared this home for 5 days and it was more than ample in size to accommodate everyone. It had all the amenities one could ask for and more! The kitchen was fully stocked with flatware, an ample supply of dinnerware, serving dishes plus non-breakables for dining al fesco by the gorgeous pool with the kiddies. Each bedroom offered a TV with DVD player, which pleased the little ones in the evening as each family brought along a collection of DVDs for the kids. The home's close proximity to Costco & Wall Mart made shopping for groceries/sundries very convenient. Also, the home's interior design was impeccable! Our #1 comment from both families was how incredibly CLEAN the home was. The bedrooms and bathrooms had wonderful linens - definitely 5 STAR quality! Thank you Hal & Patricia! We will definitely be returning next summer!

Bachelor party weekend--everything was perfect!

We rented this house expecting about 8-10 people for a bachelor party weekend. We wanted to be able to dine in for most of the weekend, relax by the pool, and enjoy some beverages. The main focus was keeping the entire group together without a bunch of logistical nightmares of everyone being in a different hotel room. We ended up having 12 for the whole weekend, and the house was absolutely perfect. It met all of our needs and exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make meals very easy. The futon was fantastic for the extra guys we didn't plan for. The pool/spa/patio proved to be our main area for congregation, and it was fantastic. The living room also proved to be perfect for watching the Laker game on the giant HD TV. As great as the house was though, the best part was working with Hal. He was fantastic, making everything from signing the lease to leaving the house an absolute dream. If you want to have a great getaway at a fair price and without any hassel, then working with Hal is for you. I wouldn't even think of renting from a company or any other individual on my next stay. There is no point, as there was nothing about my experience that could've been improved upon. We will definitely be back for more get togethers and golf weekends. Thanks Hal for making the weekend absolutely perfect and making me look like a great best man to the soon to be groom! Mike

Great couches, comfy beds, huge TVs and a massive BBQ. This house really felt like home for 10 of us over a long weekend. House owner Hal is very attentive and clearly made sure that everything was working and clean on our arrival. We had a wonderful time at Hal's place on Dolce in Palm Desert. We had planned a spa weekend for 8 girls and the home was absolutely perfect.. First of all, it was HUGE.. 5 bedrooms with a loft and 4 bathrooms (a plus when housing 8 women, right?).. The backyard pool and jacuzzi were impeccable and very relaxing. The house was beautifully decorated and well stocked in terms of kitchen items, linens, etc. The owner, Hal, is a pleasure to work with. He is very responsive, accommodating and truly wants to make sure you have a great time during your stay. I will definitely try to stay at one of Hal's places the next time I am in the Palm Desert area... Thanks again Hal!!

We spent the weekend of Feb. 12th in this house and I would have to say it is the best equipped rental I have ever stayed in. Luxury equipment, dishes and utensils for the large number of people it accomodates, comfortable and elegant beds, decorations and supplies. (even spices)The pool was especially nice and directions for everything available and Hal eager and available to help if needed. Made for a great birthday celebration for my large family. Thanks!

Our group has been coming to the desert for 15 years and this was our best rental experience. The house was so well equiped with cooking equipment, beach towels, laundry soap, and many extras that it made our stay stress free and easy. The location was great for us, close to stores and restaurants. Hal was a pleasure to work with. The WiFi was an added bonus. We'll be coming back.

Wonderful house and all the amenities to go with it. The kitchen was exceptionally clean and very well stocked. We had more than enough plates, utensils, etc. to accomodate a dinner party for our 16 golfing friends. The bedrooms and baths are comfortable and decorated well. We especially enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Very comfortable home! Our group has been going out to Palm Springs for the past few years and from now on we will stay in no other house than Hal's homes. The house is so centrally located that it was easy to get from one golf course to another and all the restaurants and shopping. We also appreciated the gated community. Great house, well maintained, nice location. We stayed here over Christmas for a week. The whole house is very comfortable, beds, baths, TVs, living areas, pool, hot tub, you name it. We had not rented a vacation house in almost 20 years. We will not wait that long to do it again. This house was perfect for our family: 3 children, 4, 2, and 1 year olds and ten adults. There was a perfect master closet that could accommodate a PaknPlay. The pool was wonderful entertainment. The TV was another highlight. The kitchen was so well stocked that I didn't need paper plates when we entertained the wedding party and future in- laws. All rooms were beautifully decorated. This place was fantastic, Hal was a pleasure to deal with and the house came with everything i needed. Fully stocked kitchen along with more than enough bath and pool towels. Located close enough to major shopping centers and the highway, but far enough away to be in a private setting. I will certainly look into staying here again when I go back. This was my second experience with Hal. EXCELLENT, all the ways around. We also stayed at his 3 bedroom house over the 4th of July weekend and we liked it so much that we rented this house from him for Labor day weekend. He is quick to respond and delivers a property that is exactly as featured and more. Hal made every effort to ensure that everything was to our liking. He called us and made sure we did not need anything and if we did he helped us. The house was CLEAN, kitchen well stocked with utensils and cookware, and the property grounds were well manicured. The house itself has been meticulously maintained, great AC, and had some extra touches (ie: built in gas grill) that gave it a boost above the rest. If you are deciding between a vacation rental and a hotel, this house is definitely the bang for the buck. We had a fabulous time here, and plan to go again. I would recommend this house to all my friends and family members. Why pay a hotel and not have your privacy when you can rent this house and enjoy your stay all the way around. My friends and I had the pleasure of being the first renters of this beautifull 5 bedroom home. We stayed for a weekend and all of us agree that it was a fantastic experience. The house had everything we could have ever needed highlighted by the saltwater pool and spa which were perfect for night swimming after some golfing. My friends and I love to cook so the big barbaque in the back yard and spacious kitchen worked great. Plus, all of the kitchen appliances were state of the art and brand new! We all couldn't have had a better time and if your looking for a great place to stay for a relaxing getaway in the dessert, this house is perfect.
