Charming rustic cottage on Diamond Lake (1,060 acres) with a pier and sandy beach. The cottage sleeps six people, has 1-1/2 baths, and a porch across the front. The living area has comfortable furniture, dining table, and rustic fireplace. A small patio is along side the cottage, which has wonderful breezes. On the property is a garage, with an apartment, with one full bath, kitchen, living area, and two bedrooms, which sleeps four.
The property is rented by the week, or longer if desired. The property is available from August 10th through mid October. Beginning around September 1, the property may be available for week ends only, for those interested in comfortable quarters during a Notre Dame football week end. Notre Dame is approximately twenty-five miles south west of Diamond Lake.

Why the Owner Chose Cassopolis
This property has been in the family since 1948. We maintain the property as if we were living in it. When our parents passed away, it was decided to retain the property, and offer it as a rental, which we have done since 1996. This year we decided to offer the property for rent during the Notre Dame football season, which we haven't done before.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage & Apartment
Even though we currently don't live there, we have spent many summers at the cottage. It is easy, comfortable, and simple living, with beautiful surroundings. Life becomes much easier when residing at the cottage.
