Charming rustic cottage on the north shore of Diamond Lake (1,060 acres).Includes pier and small fishing boat. Excellent swimming conditions. The 1-1/2 bath cottage sleeps 6. (Larger bedroom - queen bed. Smaller bedroom - 1 twin bed. Glassed-in porch contains 3 cot-sized beds.) The living area has comfortable furniture, dining table, and rustic fireplace. An adjacent patio provides an outdoor eating area and charcoal grill.
The apartment over the garage has a combination kitchen, dining, living room, and one full bath and 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has 2 twin beds and the other bedroom has a trundle bed. (sleeps 2) Guests have access to the washer and dryer in the garage.
The property is rented by the week, or longer, from 12:00 noon (Eastern Daylight Savings Time) on Monday to Sunday evening.
Summer Rate: $1,200 per week. After Labor Day $850 per week. Week end rate (Fri.-Sun. eve). $450.
Ideal for Notre Dame football weekends. Approx. 25 mi. southwest of Diamond Lake.

Why the Owner Chose Cassopolis
This property has been in the family since 1948. We maintain the property as if we were living in it. When our parents passed away, it was decided to retain the property, and offer it as a rental, which we have done since 1996. This year we decided to offer the property for rent during the Notre Dame football season, which we haven't done before.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
Even though we currently don't live there, we have spent many summers at the cottage. It is easy, comfortable, and simple living, with beautiful surroundings. Life becomes much easier when residing at the cottage.
